CAFE/CASITA MADAME

Cafe

👍👍 Just at the far end of the malecon, it's worth the walk. I only had cappuccino but they were well done, very hot which I like and a good strength There are dogs and ducks. Can't beat that

Very nice and cozy place and friendly service. But some plates with very exaggerated prices. We had a sandwich from one simple white bun of bread with some cheese on it and a handful of french fries and not one ingredient more! For $9 but it was worth maybe $3.50. Crepes were fine and with a fair price, but my cup of ice cream for almost the same price was much to small. Beverages only slightly overpriced but good.

Decent lodging option adjacent to a quiet end of the Puerto Lopez beach. The rooms are clean and modern with sufficient common spaces. The associated Cafe Madam has a great menu with good food. Both the lodging and cafe staff were professional and attentive. The only down sides are the owners 4 dogs that reign all over including the cafe. The walk on and under the tables and when they are really annoying the guests and at night they are locked in the cafe’s kitchen….. The other down side is the owner…. I’m sure she means well but comes across very rude and accusational…

Hands down BEST restaurant I’ve been to in my 3 weeks of traveling Ecuador. The food, atmosphere, and staff are on point! I’d give 20 stars if I could.

We did not stay, had a meal. It was so good! Fresh stir fried vegetables and a bunch of salad. Very flavorful. Was a nice change from typical Ecuadorian food. Neat place with fun art.

Charming and very friendly little Bed and Breakfast right on the beach. Very lovely design. Very quiet. Rooms are very clean with all the modern comfort that you could hope for. Relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Flowers everywhere (delicious jasmin smell). I wish we could have stay longer. Breakfast should be included in the price. Thanks to all the team.

Charming restaurant with a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff try very hard to meet your needs. The homemade pasta and shrimp is tasty as well. The only caveat here is rhat the portions are tiny and extremely expensive. There are many better options in town.

Had a really good crepe and a decent juice there for lunch! Location is very nice right at the promenade, but it’s a bit pricey I thought.
