Bounce around! 3.5 (stars) I sat in the beach area across the street from the restaurant. There were three bartenders there. The drinks were stiff (just like I ordered) and the conversation was stiff too. The service was good. The food was satisfactory. Go there at least for the view. There are places all over the strip. Bounce around.

The restaurant is not as pretty as other bars in the neighborhood, but the food tastes better. They offer fried fish and it's fresh and really fried.

Across the street from the beach in the heart of Puerto Lopez you'll find Restaurant Spondylus, and you'll also find great food. We had ceviche de cameron (shrimp), ceviche mixto and a whole fried Pargo (Red Snapper). The seafood was amazingly fresh and prepared just right. The fish was slightly crispy on the outside but soft and moist on the inside and the shrimp in the ceviche was nice and tender. The dishes came with patacones (fried green plantains) that had been pressed thin and had just the right amount of crispness. There was also a pile of sliced limes and all the sauces you could want to customize the ceviche to your taste. To top it off, the beer was ice cold and the facilities were pretty clean. So stop for a great lunch or dinner and then walk across the street to join the craziness on the beach!

We ordered whole fried fish, which appeared to be deep fried in some sort of over-salty paneer. On top of that, half of the fish was raw. We pointed that to the waiter and asked for a check - he did not seem to care much. Would not recommend as food also seemed overpriced compared to the other places around

The food here is great. We've never had a problem. The service is good. Very clean. You can eat in the restaurant area or on the beach. One of our favorite spots to eat.

The food was fine, neither bad or exceptional. You can either sit in the restaurant or on the other side of the road on the beach, it was really nice spot to sit right next to the sea. The peanut sauce was good but the fish from both our plates were chew.y. We were shocked to see on the first day and the following day that one of the waiters were playing with a disabled person. He was drinking his fruit juice or trying to get money from his bag. The second day we stoped them (waiter from this restaurant and other restaurants). They told us that it is a friendly game and they are just playing. From our point view they were clearly mobbing the disabled person.

Great dishes and the best sea food from Puerto Lopez. The "Spondylus Fuego" it's espectacular.

Food was great service was great,nice atmosphere, clean. Came back for another night
