Amazing thermal water just a few miles away from the ocean, in the middle of a native community village. The entrance fee is $5 per person. The local archeology museum is included. And, don't forget to try their local dish "seco de chivo"; it was very good.

Sulfur hot springs and mud bath. The entrance is $5 and includes a small Jell-O shot to do a mud mask. $10 will get you a 20 minute massage and full body mud mask. It is an indigenous community and it is wonderful to see how they live off the land and maintain it.

I give it a 3 because my friends liked it. The rotten eggs smell was just too much for me.

Even though it smells a little because of the sulfur, it is really refreshing and the additional spa services make it a whole experience.

It's $5 to enter, and it's a trek ... either go in your personal vehicle or arrange for transportation. Had a blast - suggest taking a group of people you enjoy. The pool really does have regenerative properties - you leave feeling totally relaxed and refreshed.
