Tio Pan proved to be an extraordinary dining experience that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming ambiance that set the tone for the rest of the evening. The first thing that caught my attention was the delectable aroma wafting from the kitchen. The menu at Tio Pan boasts a mouthwatering array of dishes. The food was undeniably exceptional, offering a perfect blend of flavors and impeccable presentation. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, or have special dietary requirements, Tio Pan has something to satisfy every palate.

Muy buena comida, very good food. The passion fruit morisoñando was to die for. The Philly cheesesteak was very good caramelized flavor but the bread was a little hard. The mofongo was also yummy just again a little dry and hard to swallow. The fries were the best we ever had. AND ABOVE ALL- GET THE TRES LECHES!! The tres leches was so milky and soft and yummy, almost melted into my mouth drinking it. If you don’t like runny desserts, maybe try something else. But honestly, the tres leches was TOO good. Service was a little slow but we came right before closing so it makes sense.

Came here while on vacation because I wanted mangu and it did not disappoint. Lately the service around other Puerto plata restaurants have been disappointing, maybe because of covid, but not at Tio Pan. Service and food were great. The waiter was very attentive, our food came out quick and everything was delicious.

I went there to have a quick breakfast during my stay in Puerto Plata. I ordered a Tio Dominicano, and it came really fast. The prices/quality/quantity was perfect. Very, very good service. The jugo de cereza was amazing and the capuccino as well. A jewel in Puerto Plata.

The food was really good specially the coffee. The service was good but they are a bit slow. It looks like they are understaffed. However, the staff are very nice.

Chocolate torte cake is really good here. Did the breakfast here is pretty good but I haven't had it personally to review it properly. The place is clean and very classy looking inside and out. The staff is friendly

The service was very slow and we had a mixup on our check, otherwise solid experience. Their cafe is tasty as are their smoothies/juices. I got the traditional breakfast and it certainly satisfied. The corn cake we brought back with us also pleased the crowd. Worth a stop, just be sure you have plenty of time to hang around

Great food. My Español wasn't as good as I thought. 😆 🤣. The waiter did speak English well enough for my meal not to have any surprises. 😜 Authentic flavors.

Excellent food and service. My fiance and I come here every week. My favorites are the crepes (Tio Patricio - with chicken and bacon), the burgers and the goat (Chivo Picante Tio Pan). I have eaten goat meat twice before in my life and I HATED it and vowed never to eat it again, but the way Tio Pan prepared their's was different and so good. Kind of spicy, but not too much and super tender and full of flavor. Of course, it's a panderia and in my opinion, their pastries and cakes are second to none in this area. Always a pleasant, family friendly atmosphere. Always a good experience.

LOVE coming here. I wish they had some sort of gluten free bread!! It's also too expensive to come super often, but we love when we can go!! It usually comes to about $25-30 for the two of us

Food was okay but service was the slowest I've had in a very long time. The restaurant was almost empty yet it took forever to get our burgers and took even longer to get our bill. The servers looked like they were being forced to work there. The desserts were worth a second visit though

Delicious food and service, from the beach grape smoothie, to the Salmon Torre Alta and the passion fruit mousse! I'm definitely coming back to repeat, and try other dishes! Reasonable prices and comfortable ambiance too!

The best bakery in this area!!! It's worth the wait. Definitely get the "American cappuccino", (not sure how it's "American" lol)...but so yummy and ALREADY sweet.

We got breakfast here and it was quite good. The dominican style breakfast and chinola smoothie were delicious. However, the sandwiches here are kind of bland. The restaurant itself is quite clean and nice and has a large parking lot.

The food was pretty good. However, they charged us extra to sit at a table and eat!? It was because we were 2 foreigners. They don't charge the locals that extra "tax". Not the biggest deal but it kind of rubs you the wrong way when that happens here. The fee was on top of the normal restaurant tax, which was on the bill. The extra fee was not itemized on the bill.

LOVED IT!! I can honestly say this was the best breakfast I’ve had in 3 1/2 months! We had a group of 27 and they got our food out so fast and were so sweet to us! Such a cute place with lots of seating!

They have rare foods to include American, everything is fresh best spot and safest in this area. Civilized people here. No hassle. They give you space to breath. The food value is perfectly matched and worth what it's worth they don't over price like most restaurants like this. This spot will definitely be successful for years to come. #©️GoodyHoodyInspectorApproved.

Smoothies, drinks and burgers are good. The grill chicken breast was too salty. We tried other food and it was not very good, especially when one considers the cost of the food. The staff in the front that we encountered aren’t friendly, same goes for the people over the phone. The overall attitude was that of someone that felt as if they were being bothered. However the servers and busboy were very nice people.

Myself and my wife have been eating there almost every day for the past few weeks. Very delicious food, breakfast or supper, everything we have eaten there has been superb 👌 and nice staff.

I ordered a simply cheeseburger and a simply steak. I have ordered several times from this location and it’s almost normal now for them to cook my food the wrong way. I ask for the meat or salmon a certain way and the chef could care less and does as he pleases. They would rather NOT pay attention and do their jobs properly than to pay attention and keep consistent business. Great potential wrong execution as a business. Let me not even get started with the delivery and how long it takes. One time I went in person and the server simply forgot to put in my order after 30 min of waiting. They are more concerned on talking and joking than actually doing their jobs, this is what marks the difference in a business.

Came for the food and to enjoy the sea view with my mother. Horrible experience. We left our drinks behind. My stomach started hurting while trying to drink. Customer service was horrible. Literally everyone around me were sending their foods back. I definitely didn't order food after witnessing what was happening around me. Another couple left their drinks behind and left. We all walked in together. We left and had dinner elsewhere. I would give them a big far ZERO if that was an option..
