Idk
if
it
is
a
general
issue
in
the
Dominican,
or
just
with
SeaPro,
but
I
cannot
recommend
diving
with
them
based
on
the
following
experience
I
had
(did
2tank
dive
in
Sosua
bay.
Myself:
rescue
diver,
100+
dives):
1.
Transport
to
the
beach
was
in
the
back
of
a
truck
that
was
open
on
the
sides
and
the
fumes
from
the
traffic
were
hard
to
deal
with
and
not
to
get
sick.
2.
No
facilities
on
site
to
shower,
dry
your
gear,
properly
rinse,
change,
no
hose,
etc.
Just
a
window
where
you
get
handed
equipment
(plus
my
rental
BCD
was
leaking
air..)
3.
No
dive
briefing,
just
10min
ride
by
open
small
boat
and
then
very
suddenly
get
in
and
dive
following
the
guide.
They
even
did
not
want
to
see
diving
license.
4.
two
divers
had
not
enough
weights,
the
guide
did
not
check
properly
before
and
had
to
get
back
up
with
them
-
leaving
us
down
signalling
us
to
wait
on
the
sandy
bottom
at
5m
depth
with
low
vis.
After
15min
waiting
my
buddy
team
decided
to
surface
because
the
guide
did
not
find
us
under
water.
We
continued
the
dive
but
half
of
the
time
was
already
passed.
In
general
the
dives
lasted
no
longer
than
40min
each.
5.
The
guide
was
feeding
the
fish
to
attract
them,
popping
a
puffer
fish,
picking
up
a
sea
star
to
show
around..
this
is
under
water
conduct
that
I
do
not
support.
I
even
saw
another
guide
dragging
two
beginner
divers
under
his
armpits,
their
fins
constantly
touching
the
reef
(or
what's
left
of
it..).
6.
No
time
or
place
to
write
dive
log
or
debrief,
they
were
hurrying
us
back
to
the
truck
that
already
waited
to
takes
us
back
to
the
hotel.
And
ofc
no
time
to
dry
or
properly
store
my
own
equipment.
I
have
to
say,
that
this
was
my
only
dives
in
the
Dominican
republic
and
therefore
I
compare
with
the
standards
I
am
used
to.
Maybe
here
the
standards
here
are
lower,
but
still
I
would
not
go
on
any
dive
under
these
circumstances
again.
The
dives
sites
and
visibility
were
also
not
really
worth
it.
