Little bit of a hardsell. Asked for a personal tip and gave some extra cigars for a tip (500pesos). Not how a legit business is usually run. Got a nice shot of rum for free so not going to leave a worse review than this. Felt a like the carpet salesman in Egypt or Turkey. Back home these sales tactics are usually frowned &laughed upon, especially asking for a 10 USD tip. We don't tip in Germany, maybe this store should reconsider sales tactics.

Great place. The owner Tony is very knowledgeable about cigars. He also makes cigars. Everyone is very hospitable. Awesome place to get real cigars. Not that fake stuff on the street and in tourist stores.

I was at the BE LIVE resort for over a week and I can hands down say that the cigar club was my favourite part of my trip. My friends and I went on numerous occasions and each time was more enjoyable than the last. Rafael is one of the best people I have ever met and easily the most valid person at the BE LIVE resort. He provided us with excellent service and treated us like family. Not to mention all the cigars I purchased and smoked at this establishment were phenomenal, and an affordable price - coming from a seasoned cigar veteran. If I want to return to Puerto Plata, the sole reason will be to visit this cigar club and Rafael. Salut mi familia

*BEWARE* Highly inflated prices! Do your research before buying anything from this place. Tourist trap! If your from another hotel you will have to pay more per stick for some reason. Prices in Canada for same cigar are cheaper. Don't buy anything from this place!

This was really cool. It was a very short visit but we each did get to make a real cigar. And smoke it if you wanted. After the demonstration it was a pretty hard sell for you to buy cigars. I have friends that like cigars but they were very expensive.

Great cigar selection. Friendly staff and well stocked bar.

Nice atmosphere and selection of cigars. A complete novice so wanted to learn a little and buy some souvenirs. Sadly found the shop assistant quite impatient, insistent and uninformative. Left with some nice looking cigars but feeling a little unsatisfied. Probably would have bought more if I felt less pressured. Nevertheless, worth a visit, especially if you have a clear understanding of what you want.

My husband and I visited this store this past February on our cruise to Dominican Republic. We were on an excursion and had such a great time here. We were able to roll our own cigars and smoke them there. The people working were so nice and knowledgeable or you have a chance to visit here do so.

Loved it great cigars and great people was going to just stop in a buy a cigar ended up staying for hours.
