I've traveled the world. I've stayed in some pretty shady places. I was a soldier, slept on the ground in the mud, in the rain. This is the worst hotel I've ever been in. The bed is like concrete. The air conditioner sounds likes a freight train. The ceiling fan sounds like the helicopter I used to fly. Worst of all, management could care less. As I listen to my neighbor's TV and ceiling fan, I implore you, if you're looking for a good night's rest, do not stay here.

If you do not want to pay double this price for just being all-inclusive. I also stayed in BlueBay all inclusive hotel and resort (same area) and paid double the price of this one. But the rooms were not even comparable to this. Here much nicer cleaner newer rooms and reasonable price.

Rooms are nice, the resort is immaculate, and the buildings just have a little age to them. It is obvious they are taking down buildings and have a new one coming. Service has been great, and the location is unbeatable. Beautiful sea views with the golf course running through and around the resort.

It is obviously overpiced. The attendees were very friendky and kindly, the rooms are ok but the mattresses need change beacuse they are too soft and with some curve at the centre. On the beach there were not enough beach chairs for all guests and we were in trouble and delay to take one, without help from the "blue guys on the beach". Restroom for guests on the beach restaurant needs some improvement. The food was ok but nothing spectacular. Again, attendees in the room service, on the front desk, and especially on the beach (barman and waiters) were excellent.

Visited the beach bar/restaurant a few times while visiting playa del pueblito. Received fantastic service from Ruby. Five stars for Ruby 💖 Very sweet and attentive. Regularly checked in on us but not overbearing. Ordered a few drinks and food. The banana mama was my fav. The Cuba libres are strong. They use paper cups and thick paper straws (don’t go soggy right away) which I appreciated. Food was decent. Beach area in front of the bar is kept clean. Minimal litter. Chairs and umbrellas are in good condition. Bathrooms are super nice and clean. All around a positive experience.

The food is amazing. Location is perfect on the beach. Beds could use an upgrade, but it is a great place to stay while in Puerto Plata. The owner is awesome as well!

Stayed here in February, it was really quiet and peaceful when I was there. I didn't see too many fellow tourists and the ones I saw were mostly over 50. They have a golf course next to the property. You also ofcourse have beach access with private beach chairs and beach beds for the guests. Food at both restaurants was decent. Free breakfast in the morning. They have a small pool and jacuzzi, next to the reception office. The staff was nice and helpful. Overall a decent stay, very plain jane, no real complaints.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! The beach access area was amazing! There were nice beach chairs and beautiful each beds with the white curtains. The beach was VERY CLEAN and not littered. They were doing AMAZING massages on the beach for $20-$30 and manicures and pedicures. I can't wait to go back to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

The entire terrain feels a little abandonend. Except for two new huge apartment buildings, everything is still old. There are many vacant buildings and unused areas, that where used in former times. Now there are still many renewal, renovation and renovation work to be done. The food in the restaurants is very good, but for going out, you need to go to the city. The beach is nice, safe and clean, has many seating options and the service staff is very helpful and friendly.

This is a very friendly hotels in the area. The buildings are rustic and cleaned daily. The staff that we interacted with were magnificent and helpful. The food was normal, something for everyone. Entertainment was a mix bag and interesting. After show interaction with the entertainment staff was very welcome to me as we get to experience a snippet of their lives. The reception, beach, dining rooms, maids, cleaners,pool attendants, management, they all tried to make your holiday special. The beach very clean and well maintained. Long walks are very interesting and easy to do. This hotel has a casino. This is easy reach to the commercial centre for those who want to hunt a bargain.

Water is full of grass and is not super clean. But overall very nice free beach with chairs and umbrellas offered without a surcharge. Bar and small local market are inexpensive. Easily accessible from cruise terminal. All in all a good place to relax for few hours.

They should have more time with the break fast by 11am break fast is gone....is my only complaint ..

This establishment is false, the pictures are false and it's under renovations and construction. It's unfortunate cause will and the staff we met were terrific and so nice but the establishment and rooms and amenities itself is all a lie . The room looks like project based rooms unless you ask to be in a villa the first night the drains didn't work and the floors were brown in the room I complained due to the second night my toliet was flooded and had to move to a villa in the middle of the night. The villa was nice and comfortable the tv only in Spanish and there no Netflix, or other media, but the WiFi still didn't work in the villa the WiFi never worked it was horrible. The staff were accommodating but I had to complain in order to get the right services. The pictures you see are the condos that people brought and you can rent them out sometime on air b n b. As well as when you look on Til Tom those are the condos. The swim up bar doesn't exist is out of service and will never work. There no convention ac center you eat breakfast outside as a buffet and no center air there is a fan . Cabana are nice Cabana are nice but need to be renovated. This entire hotel is under construction and the gym you have to make reservation, its in a Construction site and looks like a hole in the wall. Beside the fraud of the establishment the workers have been helpful and was very nice and welcoming. When I complain I witness things being clean and stuff being done but it shouldn't take that! Those pictures is my friend door stop working after telling her to go back twice to reset the key literally took the whole day ‼️
