I did the Agave Spirits Tasting here. I was taken aback by the diversity of agave spirits. Maybe more so the variety of agave plants, the regions where they grow, and how they can be cultivated, prepared, and distilled. And also the surprising ways to enhance and enjoy these spirits. It’s an experience that has me venturing out and asking for off-menu creations in restaurants and bars. It’s raised some eyebrows and earned praise from locals. That right there is invaluable when traveling and immersing yourself in others’ customs and cultures.

Remarkable collection of local spirits and beers, and well made craft cocktails. Hard to imagine a better place to discover what’s going on with smaller local producers of mescal tequila and more.

Very nice, casual bar. We happened to go before happy hour (8pm) when all cocktails were 100 pesos, which was a fantastic deal. Wish they were a bit stronger but still tasted phenomenal. Bartenders were very nice and attentive.

Great spot to taste Mexican spirits, from tequila and beyond. Classic and signature cocktails prepared with care. They also offer local craft beer.

Alex and Luis gave us a great time and excellent drinks and service. Alex throughly explained our very cool traditional and craft sprits and we had a blast! Not to mention the young cool vibes in here. This is the place to be!

The tasting itself was very informative and I got to try different agave drinks while understanding the rich history. I’d suggest going with 4+ people as the private tasting is better enjoyed with a group!

Modern, hip, and cozy atmosphere with a mind bending variety of Mexican spirits. We ordered the Spirits of Mexico Tasting and one of the incredibly friendly bartenders sat with us for over 30 minutes explaining the intricacies of agave spirit making and pointing out tasting notes. A must-visit for any alcohol aficionado!

This was the most authentic tequila/agave spirits tasting I have ever had. Our bartender for the night Luis was phenomenal and I learned more about agave spirits than any book could ever teach me! Give this place a try and I guarantee you will be thoroughly enriched.

We booked the Agave Spirits Tasting. We arrived a few minutes early but were warmly welcomed. The space is beautiful! The tasting was educational and entertaining. It was a treat to taste some small batch artisanal and ancestral tequila, raicilla, and mezcal. Our host was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed chatting with Alex and Sophie in the back bar/store afterwards as my husband purchased a bottle. Highly recommend this for an entertaining night out!

Came to the tasting room for a tequila tasting experience. Luis is a phenomenal guide. He shared his love and knowledge in a way that made us as enthusiastic as he was. The small batch artisinal tequilas were spectacular. I never knew tequila could be so diverse and have such depth. Would go back for the mescal tasting if we had the time.

Amazing place with great cocktails, wonderful service. We've been 2 nights in the row trying different cocktails and all of them were super well made and presented. And made of local liquors which makes your experience even more unique. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend. Also they are only 150 Pecos each👌

Wow. What an amazing experience!!! The beer, tequilas and especially the mixed drinks were great. But it was the people that made our two hours really special. Luis was killing it behind the bar. Fer was a breath of fresh air with her service with a smile. Alex is so much fun and knowledgeable. She taught me the way of tequila!!!! Thanks y’all!!!!

Fantastic experience at El Tasting Room. We enjoyed the Spirits of Mexico tasting and learned more about the difference between the agave spirits - we knew about tequila and mezcal but not about the others or about what contributes to the difference between them. Our friends enjoyed the mezcal tasting and we all finished with a cocktail. The El Sazón and the Mezcal Margaritas were our favourites. Thank you Alex for sharing your passion and expertise with us and making it a great experience!

We popped in for a pre-dinner cocktail and this is such an amazing experience! Craft cocktails that are so unique with such great service! A must when you are in town
