Please don’t miss this place while you’re in PV! It’s a hidden gem. Coco Machete is an awesome cocktail bar that serves well-crafted cocktails as well as mock-tails. It’s a cool little place with some amazing aesthetics and what’s awesome about this bar is that they are part of this huge garden (El Jardín de la Versalles) where one can buy pizza or other drinks. The drinks are unreal. Coco Machete is a must as you’ll have some fantastic drinks that will blow your mind. Yvette & Anthony, the owners are super friendly, nice, provided excellent service. They are both very talented with their crafts and mixology skills. We tried the Bee’s Knees, Xa-Xa (Sha-Sha) and some old fashioned 🥃 They were all so tasty and phenomenal 💯🥂 My favourite was the Bee’s Knees (gin, lemon and honey) 👌👌 Honestly, it was hard to stop especially when it’s easy drinking! All in all, you’re truly Wow’d by this place. Please try their blended margaritas as well, it’s honestly the best in town! 😍 Totally recommend this place if you’re looking to have a extraordinary time, listening to great stories/music and enjoying the drinks and atmosphere here 👏💯 You’re in great hands for a fun night! We can’t wait to return and try some other of their beautiful drinks off their menu! 🍸🍹

A 10/10 experience in this beautiful owner-managed spot with the perfect ambiance, exquisite cocktails and the best vibes from Anthony and his team. The Pisco sour and the Zombie cocktails were my go-to drinks. Looking forward to coming back! Side note: The patio is shared with another business that offers food until 11 PM, I had a pesto pizza which was great!

This bar hits the mark on so many levels. Gorgeous decor with a welcoming vibe, artisanal cocktails that are classy and unpretentious, a local joint also fit for a nice night out. Highly recommend the Venus fizz and the passion fruit mezcalita. The frozen margarita and pina colada are also great for a quick happy hour fix.

Yvette is an amazing bartender. A true gem - small but very well-stocked bar with great ambiance. She can make anything! Must do if you’re in the Versalles neighborhood!

Great bar, wonderful ambiance and amazing service. Try the Xa-Xa (it’s like a chocolate milk that gets you buzzed), served with home-made cacao infused Mezcal. They also have an amazing Benton’s Old Fashioned with home made bacon fat-washed bourbon! Highly recommended. Kick back in their great outdoor patio with relaxing lighting and other service providers offering pizza, beer, and wine.

Best margaritas in Puerto Vallarta!! Love love LOVE Coco Machete!! I’m big on ambience and this place has loads of it. Every drink I’ve had has been amazing and the owners provide phenomenal service. The music was great and we could talk without shouting. Just go there…you’ll be glad you did!!

Fantastic little neighborhood cocktail bar, tucked away from the packed, touristy areas of PV. Coco Machete features inventive cocktails made with care, friendly & knowledgeable service, and a charming open-air courtyard where you might catch some great live music if your timing is right. We loved it so much that we stopped by twice during our short stay in PV!

Delicious cocktails + gorgeous bar with lively & large outdoor green space + friendly & interesting bartenders = what’a not to love?! We’ll be coming back often. The Pasion Fruit Mezcalita and Venus Fizz were two especially delicious cocktails. Free WiFi and local band playing in the courtyard were nice touches too.
