😠 I stopped in for a couple drinks at happy hour. I enjoyed my time and the server was nice. Got my bill and that ruined my experience. They charged me more than what the menu was and weren't willing to change it. They said their prices increased. The server even told me they haven't updated the price... People often mention beach, good, drinks, happy, hour, great, view, nice, restaurant, fresh,

I stopped in for a couple drinks at happy hour. I enjoyed my time and the server was nice. Got my bill and that ruined my experience. They charged me more than what the menu was and weren't willing to change it. They said their prices increased. The server even told me they haven't updated the prices on all of the menus and it's causing problems. The management then brought religion and my nationally into it. Not okay and will never go back!

Restaurant has a sign that "dares people to enter". Now I know why. Only restaurant on the malecon without line. Service non-existent. Do not recommend for anything other than a bottle of water, if you can get it.

This bar offers happy hour twice a day. From 2-3 PM and 6-7pm. Didn’t come here for the food, but the drinks. Margaritas are two for one every day for $110 pesos. You do have to get the same flavor so, you cannot mix-and-match. Just like the happy hour. Service was great and the view was perfect. Beware that plenty of Vendors might come up to you from the beach trying to sell their products. Just be nice and say no thank you. I witnessed another customer at the restaurant being a bit nasty to them. Remember they’re just trying to make a living.

This place is perfect!! The staff are great and the view is incredible. The beer is cold and the food.... so fresh. Do yourself a favor and frequent Burros.

Fantastic beach front bar, right in the heart of boardwalk. Great offers on beers and have 2 for 1's on certain drinks. We only drank, but the seafood others ate around us looked very appealing. Went back another evening and pumping 90's soundtrack playing. Loved it!

Seriously can't understand why it isn't more popular. Right on the beach, $170 peso for a bucket of 5 beers. Staff are legends, keep it up

Nice happy hour spot on the beach. But CHECK YOUR BILL! Twice tried to slip extra pesos into the bill (on the same bill!).

This restaurant is in a great area. I like being able to sit on the sand by looking over the beach and relaxing to the sound of the crashing waves. The food is okay, nothing to boast about, but the service was friendly and attentive.

We wanted to be in a place that was close to the beach for lunch and decided on Burros Bar. The tide was up and we decided to be by a table close to the beach. Unfortunately the waves kept coming and we got wet. After we moved tables and with wet shoes we ordered lunch. The food was decent and we washed it down with beers. The service was good. We were surprised to find that all the servers spoke English. If you want to have some good food near the beach I recommend Burros Bar for a visit.

Food was not fresh. Waiter was nice! However, they charged 10% extra not sure for what, and on top of that they kept my small change and when asked they said oh our currency is $17.00. I would have tip a nice amount. The only nice thing is the view. I don’t recommend restaurants like these.

This place has two for one Margaritas all day. They are sweet but a variety of flavors. This is the best chili relleno I have found here in Puerto Vallarta. You can set out and see the ocean that will splash up to the edge of the property in the am. Well worth trying!

Avoid this place!! We were a party of 9, 3 were children. Five of us got Food Poisoning!! We all had different dishes, so this has to do with the cleanliness of the kitchen!! Have been coming to this bar for over 25 years, and unfortunately have seen the decline in the last litter while.

Had happy hour drinks of Tequila sunrise. Weak but cheap. Location great and view great. Blocked small tables closet to ocean for no reason since here over 1 hour and no one set it.

Been here a few times. The Chips and Salsa are really good, mixed drinks are very good and the Chicken Enchiladas were the best I had in all my trips to Mexico. My wife also enjoyed food and drinks. Her favorite was the fried camarones.

Love the beach location. Food was ok but the drinks could have been better. Not fresh tasting.. server was pleasant and attentive. During happy hours it gets busy.

The servers were great! I had the guacamole and chips, but the guacamole could have been a little fresher..it was still good and the view is uncomparable.

We love this gem on the beach, been here a couple times this far and have never been disappointed.. $110 for 2 margaritas all day long, how can you go wrong?! And they don't skimp on the booze.. I thought mango margaritas were good, but peach was even better! Love the fish ceviche and the coconut shrimps, we only remember to take pictures after we already ate a couple lol

It was fine they turned the fans on for us. The food was okay nothing to write home about. There are a lot of vendors coming up to you to buy stuff.

Awesome beach side restaurant. Fabulous all-day drink specials that were made with fresh fruit and decent quality of alcohol. Did not order food because there were people selling platters of fresh oysters on the beach that we just ate oysters all day long at our table. It was no problem to order oysters from the beach vendors and eat them at the table. The host and service staff are very friendly. We sat at a table right next to the beach so we did have a lot of beach vendors approach us with their merchandise.

Interchangeable with other happy hour type beach restos in the Zona. Basically, a watering hole where you can put your feet in the sand and watch the sunset. Cheaper, but weak drinks.

Nice view of the beach. Waiters were not very well organized or maybe they need more help. Hard to get any food and then 15 extra minutes to bring the bill. We ate the Nacho Supremo which was very good and filled both of us.

Service is extremely slow. Food is not bad. Pricing a little steep for what it is. Been twice and had to ask for order over and over. Not a fan of them adding their own gratuity. Definitely a beautiful view but can find at other establishments. Just my experience so maybe try yourself with better luck.

We discovered Burros Bar, day one of our vacation and we weren't disappointed! Lovely bar, tables on the beach, amazing servers, delicious margaritas, the absolute best Ceviche de Camaron! We went back every day, feet in the sand, cold drink in our hands. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!!

I ate here many years ago (11) and remember it was good, my recent visit was just drinks which were good, no idea if it's the same management.

Slow service, mediocre food and hawkers Inside the restaurant area constantly bothering us. However, 5 beer in a bucket For 170 was a great deal (when we finally got them) 20 minutes later.

The setting is very nice and the music selection tonight was very good (relaxing 80's music). The chips and salsa were very fresh and tasty. The main dishes (I had the enchilada plate, my friend had the special burrito) were average. Certainly edible, but not something I'll remember in a week.

I've been to Burros bar three times to eat since being in Mexico because I really love the location on the beach and the servers have been great. The first meal I had was chicken fajitas that were absolutely delicious and very tender. My second meal was a shrimp burrito (picture attached) which was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. I also went for breakfast and they were very accommodating with my order and the breakfast burrito I had was very good. Typically I would rate 3 stars because I wasn't happy with the shrimp burrito but the service is really good and I thoroughly enjoy going there.
