Decided to stop here as it was highly recommended by others. Unfortunately when we got here we didn't realize that they only accept cash. But the host at the time told us that she would honor credit card if we used our credit card for a whole party of 4. Even though I don't understand why restaurants like this don't accept credit card especially for tourist. I understand the cost of using a credit card, but you can also charge a fee for using a credit card if that really is an issue. But we did appreciate the fact that we were eventually allowed to use it. Otherwise we would not eat here. The food was good, and everything seemed to be made fresh. So I do recommend as well.

3.5 to a low 4 for my rating, no half stars available. The service was outstanding, the staff was organized and in sync moving thru the dining room. The food was good, not great. Somewhat bland, not a lot of spice. The margarita was on point and great. Something was missing or was off, like an unmemorable experience. I felt it was overpriced for what it was. It is in a heavy tourist area so could be why the price and lack of spice. I wanted to try here for a long time also, I’ve walked by here hundreds of times with the dog.

This is a tourist trap and perfect for Americans who are afraid of having authentic Mexican experiences. The service was great, but the food and drinks were bland and forgettable. We ordered tableside guacamole and it’s obvious how this is a show for people. The guacamole is about the presentation and not the actual taste as it has more tomatoes and onions in the guacamole than avocados. We also ordered the shrimp taquitos, tortilla soup, tacos de pollo. I appreciated the “free” bean and cheese tacos; the presentation was different and unexpected. We also ordered margaritas, one traditional and another passion fruit. They were extremely watery and you could hardly taste any alcohol. The bathrooms were clean and it’s a big restaurant decorated similarly to the way you’d see Tex-Mex restaurants decorated in the US. We paid $75 for a less than mediocre meal that would have cost $22 in an authentic Mexican restaurant.

We have been staying at the all inclusive across the street and have not been thrilled with the food so we decided it was time to venture out. The ambiance in this place was amazing. Flowers/vines cover the exterior and some very unique artwork. Lots of fans and open ceiling that can be closed in the event of rain 🌧. The service was amazing! Large portions of food as you can see in the photos even from the kids menu. We each received a complimentary bean and cheese Taco (the hanging tacos in the pics). We ordered the table side guacamole, my husband got the enchiladas, chicken finger for my daughter and Mexican Steet Tacos for myself... 2 margaritas (huge) and a guava water and our bill with tip was around $75 US. My husband really enjoyed his food, I thought the tacos were decent and my daughter ate as much of her food as she could. Drinks, guacamole, the vibe and my daughter eating her food made it all worth it to us!! I would definitely go back. We didn't have room, but really wanted to try the flaming banana desert.

Some of the best food that we have had down here! Great dining and great service! We have been coming down to Puerto Vallarta since 1999 and we love this place so much that we make sure that we come here every time.

Cash and card friendly. Francisco and the Supreme Nachos deserve 5 stars. Francisco's service is top notch and the nachos are smothered in flavorful toppings. They're easily a meal for 2-4 people. The property is lovely, with an abundance of flowers and old world charm. Unfortunately my praise ends there. Outside of Francisco, service is sadly lukewarm and forgettable. You'll easily end up forgotten if you're not a local or a tourist that's ready to spend oodles of money.

The atmosphere this place is great, love music and the service is great. The Mexican food they serve is well presented and a large meal. The only reason I give it a four star is my chili relleno was a little tough so they need to work on that to get a higher review.

LOVE this place. The restaurant is beautiful. Tons of plants keeping it lively and fresh. The table side guacamole is delicious. The margs are so refreshing on a warm day. And the service is wonderful. Super warm staff. Eduardo took care of us and he showed us so much love. I highly recommend stopping in here. It was my birthday and they made me feel wonderful.

The location is downtown in Zona Romantica. It's usually hard to find parking there but I found a place right next to the restaurant. I loved the plants outside it was very inviting. Pet friendly. The wait staff was right over our shoulder the whole time. They gave my girlfriend a straw but then said they don't have anymore when I asked for one. Then we wanted to pay and that is when they told us it was only cash. I don't like leaving negative reviews because I feel bad. The atmosphere was nice and breezy and plants everywhere but the food was not fantastic. Other than the cornbread casserole. That was the best of the whole meal.

One of the best breakfast restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. Whether you looking for a traditional American/Canadian breakfast or a traditional Mexican breakfast this place serves them both and serves them well. Beautiful exterior and interior plus live music adds to the ambience.

Absolutely transcendent atmosphere during the day... even better at night. Like dining in a 1870s greenhouse! And the first authentic monitor out of the dozens we've had in PV and Bucerias. ... and the Spanish Coffee is a show worthy of experiencing

May just be the best restaurant in the world! Or in Puerto Vallarta at least. The type of gourmet food that keeps you in a good mood. Not too pricey, the best service I've had in a restaurant in a long time. A+

The atmosphere and service are the highlight of this restaurant. Don't get me wrong, the food is amazing too. From intimate to large parties, they can handle it all. Side note; this place is pet friendly, which I find to be a perk. Highly recommend.

The BEST restaurant in PV! The service is impeccable, the food is phenomenal and the building is beautiful. We’ve been to PV 5 times and we always come here at least once every trip. You will not be disappointed.

Vibrant atmosphere with an airy space. The breakfast options are generous and delicious. Service was friendly and the servers and hosts were attentive to our needs. Definitely will come back for a return visit.

Maybe the best fish plate and definitely the best tortilla soup I've had in Vallarta. I ordered the fish Puerto Vallarta style. The verde sauce was excellent, fish cooked just right, veggies hot but crispy, and perfect garlic bread and rice. My wife had the shrimp Arandiego style and she loved it. Friendly and quick service, nice traditional atmosphere, and cool murals and decor.

Traditional food done well! We absolutely over did it by ordering way too much food. The seafood salad was really good; I would highly recommend it. We also ordered ceviche and two entrées. My husband ordered a steak and I had a taco plate. Both were delicious. Plus I got a massive margarita which was delicious and I somehow finished it! The staff was very friendly and helpful! Plus, the building is gorgeous!

Unbelievable food . I got the chilaquiles with mole sauce and my husband got the other one both were very good . The service was really good. We needed warmed up milk for the baby and the server was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place for breakfast in pv

The breakfast was tasty. Avoid the pastries...as they are not worth it. The lengua was thick and delicious! Unfortunately, the exterior of the building with the beautiful bougainvillea was much more beautiful than the interior. Worth a visit to support maintenance of the beautiful plants!

Inconsistent service, cater specific. Food is decent, considering its in tourist/timeshare area. Nice building, boring atmosphere. Didn't provide complimentary while waiting for meal, nor napkins, nor did anyone check on our table during our meal, as they did others.

My boyfriend and I went to Puerto Vallarta over last Christmas and New Year. We stayed at an all inclusive across the street but ate here 5 times. It is so freaking good. We are coming back this year for Christmas and purposely planned a condo nearby so we can eat here again and again. The people are SO lovely, the atmosphere is beautiful, the flowers are stunning. The complimentary tequila shot is most appreciated. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Miguel hooked me y mi amiga up! As a vegan at first glance the menu didn’t have anything vegetarian specific. However I am always up for asking the server to accommodate me, and Miguel, our server, really did. He suggested a verduras fajitas. This was my first meal in Mexico at a restaurant, and I would say one of the most memorable meals of my life! The staff was friendly and accommodating and the vibe and decor welcoming and beautiful. What drew me to this place were all of the amazing flowers and plants. My meal was just incredible- amazing flavor! I will be happy to come back as I am here for a week!
