Amazing staff that helped us out both at work and on their own time. Breakfast was hot, flavorful, and plentiful, with staff that anticipated our needs. We had 2 rooms, one with a view of the church and mountains and one with a view of the building next door. Request a view if that is important to you. The cool jacuzzi on the roof top patio was great for an afternoon dip to cool off, with sunny and shady places to lounge and read a book. Rooms were very clean with new towels and sheets, the beds were a little soft for my liking but that is really the only down side to our 2 weeks there. We loved being downtown and within walking distance to so many shops and close to buses for excursions. Bring ear if you are easily woken because there is a church bell that rings throughout the night and you are downtown in a busy city with a very busy night life. We will definitely be back here as we now consider it our home away from home. ❤

As always it has been a memorable stay at the Hotel Porto Allegro in Puerto Vallarta. Ideal location in downtown Puerto Vallarta as it is steps from the bridge to Old Town. The staff are great and very accommodating. The rooms are very clean, beds are very comfortable and spacious and some have front facing balconies. Breakfast on the rooftop is always great and served with a smile by Monica. We have been staying at the Hotel Porto Allegro since 2014 have have not been dissapointed yet. Thank you to all of the very accommodating staff.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Good location, nice rooms and decent breakfast. The only negative was a huge, thick and too soft mattress topper on the bed.

I have stayed her multiple times, I have hesitated to write a review because I love it so much and I didn’t want to get too popular. It’s the perfect spot right in the middle of everything yet you still feel you’re on your own little world. The hotel is clean and nice and the staff is fantastic!

Great location with modern rooms. Very friendly staff. The free breakfast was good as I had an omelet and yogurt there, but I ended up going out for tacos most mornings. I wish it had a pool.

First time back since Covid and still a wonderful place to stay. We like that it is a smaller hotel located near old town. The rooms are very clean and modern. The staff are warm and friendly. And they have a great breakfast on the rooftop patio. Also there is a small dipping pool and lounge chairs on the roof with great views of the city.. We have always enjoyed the quaintness of this hotel as it is more Mexican style than American style. Also it is convenient to everywhere yet away from the noise of the Malecon. The local neighbourhood is great for shopping and restaurants. Thanks again for a wonderful stay and we will see you again next trip.

All of the staff were friendly, always making sure that I was comfortable throughout my stay. Very knowledgeable staff and the chef cooked an awesome breakfast for me every day and it was free. Rooms were extremely clean, roomy and lots of extra amenities included.

Excellent customer service from the front staff staff to housekeeping to dining room attendants and chefs. Amazing location. I can truly say I have found my 'bedroom' away from home. I will certainly return to this quaint, home-like atmosphere, hotel.

Stayed ten night and absolutely loved this property. Everyone is extremely helpful and very friendly. The location is great just a few blocks from the middle of the Malecon. Lots of Pharmacies, shops and restaurants close by. The hotel serves a sit down, full service breakfast from 07:30-11:30. Lots of selection. And it is free! The rooms are very modern and the A/C works great.

Wonderful location. The area is nice to walk around in. There's a flea market, lots of restaurants and beaches that you can walk to. There are also a bunch of convenience stores. The staff who works there are sweet, especially those who are in the 4th floor restaurant.
