I had a fantastic stay!! The Hilton Puerto Vallarta was clean and comfortable. But what stood out for me was the amazing staff! We were treated so well by the staff. They were attentive, friendly and helpful. After spending 10 days, we got to know some of the staff. After reading other reviews about the food, I was not sure what to expect. But I can honestly say the food was wonderful and delicious. They had plenty of variety. For those who reviewed the food as bad are obviously first rate snobs who you can never please. Buy for someone like me who wants good food, I found it to be perfect. If I had to have one negative thing to say, it would be not to make any calls from the room phone. They charge for every call even if local. My flights were changed and I had to call my airline. I got charged over $1000 peso for those calls. It must be a Mexico thing as this has never happened to me in Canada or US. Other than that, it was a great stay!

I booked a room here for a nice celebratory get away and have a chance to disconnect. I picked one of the rooms with a Private Pool, and while it was only mine, it was viewable by people walking the beach. It didn't bother me it was less than 3 feet deep, I was hoping for a bit more privacy. Room service costs a fee, but it is not much considering it is all-inclusive. The staff in the lobby bar and the lounge were very helpful, and there was more available than I took advantage of. But this trip was about relaxing and not feeling rushed or needing to do things. I returned home in a much better mood and ready to get back to day-to-day life. I will definitely return!

The facility is beautiful. Overall the staff is friendly and very attentive. It is the operations of this Hilton that is horrific! We stayed in the adult only section; upgraded rooms for 9 nights. The music, very loud, rarely ended at midnight - unless you called desk -- BUT yard work with blowers and electric saws started consistently by 8am! Obviously no one looked at an overall schedule and impact to customers. Food, with the exception of Italian, was entirely so-so. We twice paid extra (a lot) for the not well know "special menu" - that meat was exceptional. The part, as a Hilton, that never ceased to amaze me -- housekeeping was dismal. Not once, in 4 separate rooms over 9 days, did any of us get a set (sometimes NO) new clean towels, when towels were left on floor to be changed. And the towels - threadbare. Hilton you should be embarrassed. If you don't wont to eat well or get much sleep - go. Its pretty on the eyes. If you want to relax and not listen to other people's radios at the pool - on top of the hotel's music - enjoy.

The staff was over and above in their attentiveness and their helpfulness! We got the all inclusive and stayed on the hacienda, all-adults side for 4 nights and cannot speak more highly of the rooms, staff and service. We were hit with a couple big thunderstorms while we were there but everyone was quick to wipe up the constant dripping of rain and keep the drinks flowing while it passed. The food presentation was incredible everywhere we ate (we tried every restaurant but the French place). Food itself seemed to be catered in for pretty much everything, but if you understand that, it was all very pretty and definitely edible. Desserts were better than the meals in my opinion across the board. The Mexican restaurant (shocker) was absolutely incredible, complete with a mobile, table-side margarita bar. Rooms were spacious and AC was top notch. We had a balcony view of the pool which was bar none; our room had two doubles which included a bathroom with a separate toilet, shower and bath tub. There was plenty of different spots to lay out and hang out at across the resort, including pools and a couple of rooftop bars, all of which were gorgeous and well taken care of. The spa was also very reasonably priced and our relaxing massages were the perfect antidote to an afternoon thunderstorm. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend it enough! Try a mango tango margarita at your first chance, so so good.

If there was less than one star I would choose it. Don’t stay here. Hilton is leaving the property at the end of October and they’ve left it in total disrepair. 4 days in to an all inclusive and the main buffet serving the resort has been closed. We were told at the specialty restaurants that 2/4 are on the adults only side and our kids could not go there and the other two told us they had no kids menus. We waited for over an hour for our food in the Mexican specialty restaurant and left our cold food sitting on the table. We had a raccoon eating the room service from the plate in the hallway. Did I mention the disrepair? Mold everywhere. Ceilings have so much mold the paint and plaster are chipping away. There are wires showing underneath the mirror in the bathroom as well. And here’s the best part. I’m in two very premium connected rooms. So they literally have no where else to put us that’s comparable. A nightmare vacation provided by Hilton.

This is the ultimate Mexican bait in switch hotel. We originally booked 2 rooms a king room and a double room they double room. But had to cancel 1. My don't. My adult daughter ended up staying in the room with us which was supposed to be a king room. When we got here we were told that they cannot put 3 people in a king room because they won't fit and they stuck us in what was supposed to be a double Queen room. That double Queen room was actually a double bedroom of which my partner and I were expected to shove 2 6' tall 200 pound people into a double bed together. We were told there were no king rooms available. But when we booked the room we booked a king room that was non refundable. The guy at the front desk told us the next day he would find us a king room. He did not. it took 4 days and a shower full of cockroaches before we were able to change our room. You read that correctly cockroaches. We had to go to the Hilton side because they would not fix our room on the Hacienda side. We asked multiple times to speak to the hotel manager and we were refused . They did tell us they would have him call us. He never did.. And reading some of these reviews I can understand why. he already knew what we were gonna say I didn't want to hear it. The cafeteria food here is disgusting. The Mexican restaurant however is very good and staff there are amazing. The pool site servers are very wonderful and attentive. I would not recommend the Hacienda it is not necessarily adult only there's really only 2 places to eat on this side and you have to book reservations for them. In order to do any beach or any other restaurants you have to go to the family side therefore it is not adult only. I would not necessarily call it all inclusive either it's somewhat all inclusive there are still things you have to pay for as far as coffee, room service. We were told there is an $8 fee per delivery of room service that is not all inclusive. It also takes away from the employees because why would I want to tip an employee when I'm paying $8 to receive room service that I've already paid for in my vacation package. The hotel itself on the haciendicide is pretty beat up I would compare it more to a Motel 6 than I would a Hilton. If you are coming here to relax you're not going to get that there are fireworks every night huge parties that go on until 4 AM it is almost impossible to get rest in the evenings here.RUN!!!!

    1. We arrived at 4PM. (check in is at 4) Our room was not ready. We went for a quick bite while waiting for our key. Once we checked into our room - it stunk! It smelled musty and with some kind of chemicals! We booked a room with a garden view - and all we could see was loading dock and barrels on roofs of whatever it was... definitely not a garden view! Maybe garden view was supposed to be within the hotel?.. that was also non-existent because of the construction work and falling apart ceilings? I asked the front desk if they could change the room. The manager was able to move us to the higher floor. The room still smelled musty, but at least it did not stink. And because we were higher up, we did not see barrels or loading dock! 2. Food - the buffet was okay. After two days being at the resort I got so sick that I spent the entire day throwing up (and so did my son a day later). There was another family as well that went through the same... We made the reservation to the Italian and French restaurants. Italian was okay (definitely less than mediocre... ) and french it was just not edible... Sushi bar - beautiful views, but extremely long wait for not such a good food. 3. Kids club was not even open and there were no notices that it is not operating. 4. Pool area - it was so beautiful! However - the noise level in the afternoon - wow! Not only there was music playing by the hotel, there were at least another 2 large groups of people that brought their own speakers and had music blasting at the same time. Not very relaxing! There were large groups of people and lots of drinking... If Hacienda and sushi bar are restricted for kids - perhaps this area should be more monitored and be adapted for families with smaller children? 5. Staff was great!

The location is great and close to everything. Quick 10-15 minute ride from the airport and same time to the old town. Staff is very courteous and friendly. We liked the food most of the time. The property is very well maintained. Best part was our loft view room with amazing panoramic view, it’s a steal at the price we got it. The sushi bar with infinity pool is the best place to hang out on the property. It’s adult only though but the views are great. Only reason I took of one star is because one out of two elevators was broken throughout our stay, and second one broke down on the last day of our stay. It shouldn’t take this long for a hotel to fix their elevators and when the second elevator was out, it was a big hassle and long wait times to go to the room and back. Such a big hotel should take several days to fix elevators. Also water went out for few hours one day and it took Hilton some time to help us out.

Overall really impressed with the hotel and the service, we stayed at the Hacienda at Hilton. One of the stand out features was that my partner and I don’t drink at all so we ordered virgin cocktails and not once did they fail us! We have been to places before where they had accidentally served us alcohol, but here they were meticulous with orders and they got everything right every single time. The private beach was nice. There were also 3 pools to choose from, each with their different vibe and views. Of the 3 pools, our favourite was the main pool at the adults only Hacienda, as it was the warmest and had a good mix of sun and shade. The service pool side was excellent too. Also, the rooms are huge and clean. The bathroom is big enough to rent out. Sheets were always clean and fresh feeling. Excellent selection of restaurants and huge spreads at the buffets. Although our favourite thing to order was probably the fish tacos at the pool. In addition, the resort is close enough to walk to Puerto Magico, where a lot of the water excursions leave from. The bus stop to get to the rest of the city is close by too. Very happy with our stay in Puerto Vallarta overall!

I arrived on the 4/30/22 was given the wrong room from what I had paid for (ocean view) they put me in a different hotel the “Hacienda hotel” was supposed to stay at the resort side but the hacienda room was decent. I asked for room service, I didn’t get my dinner until 1 1/2 late and cold, the guy said “ we had late parties” as if that should mean anything to me, then he asked me to pay, wow! I tried to change rooms but I was told I had to wait till the next day. Then I was promised by a manager I was going to get an upgrade and a complimentary spa day. Then after 5 hours without a room, they finally took me to my dream room with an ocean view… my view was a hallway of the hotel. At this point, I was very mad and demanded to receive the room I paid for. I had to wait for another 1 hour, they finally took me to a room that I supposedly paid for (didn't look great) then the room they were going to give me for free (upgrade for sure). Now, this room did have an ocean view room but the room was dirty and beat up. Fortunately, they made up for it with an AMAZING spa day! A bottle of champagne to the room, and they work hard to make our vacation better. The Service here is pretty good, I would've given them a 5-star but they need to be more organized with their customers and try to get it right from the beginning so there is no need to make up for it BUT I appreciate what they did for us.

all i have to say is do NOT stay here. it’s not worth the amount you pay. The food is not the greatest and you need to wake up at 9am to make reservations for places you want to eat at. their is 3 different coloured wrist bands 1 is under 18 and the other is for the Krystal altitude and the other one is the hacienda. The hacienda offers you everything like a normal all inclusive would but the krystal wrist band barely offers you anything. They tell you it’s an all inclusive resort but really it’s half inclusive. Room service is not free and the cabana beds on the beach are not free. Do not stay here at all. Our room hasn’t been cleaned in 3 days. Everything costs extra whether they tell you or not. I have many more things to say…. save your money and go somewhere else

I cannot recommend this resort based on my recent stay. Considering the price we paid, I had higher expectations. Unfortunately, the adult section only had one bar available, which was quite disappointing. The food quality was below average, except for the reserved restaurants, which were good, but they had strict timing and wouldn't accommodate late arrivals. Another major letdown was the condition of our room. It was not properly cleaned and showed signs of neglect, particularly with badly needed paint on the walls. Stains from leaks were visible, giving a poor impression. In addition, the phone in our room was not functioning, and though they offered to change our room, it would have been a downgrade. One positive aspect I must mention is the hardworking service staff. They were clearly understaffed, with only one receptionist handling check-ins while there were 15 people waiting in line. I appreciate their efforts to provide good service despite the challenging circumstances. Unfortunately, the lack of entertainment options and the availability of only lower-quality liquor at the bar were disappointing. It seems that the owners are neglecting the maintenance of both the staff and the building. Overall, I was truly disappointed with my experience and would not choose to stay at this resort again.

This is a review of The Hacienda, which is the adults only section of Krystal Vallarta. The rooms are large, clean and nicely appointed. We really enjoyed the time that we spent at the pool. The area is very laid back and relaxing and we never had issues finding chairs. There are even a few day beds available that are complimentary. The drink service was also excellent, we never had to wait very long for a drink. Where the resort truly left me disappointed was in the dining aspect. The food served was marginal at best. I am not a very picky eater and I still found it pretty bad. There are 4 a la carte restaurants (French, Italian, Mexican and a Steakhouse). It’s by reservation only, so you have to go wait in line at the lobby at 9am. By 10:30 all the reservations are gone. Also, not all restaurants are open every night. We spent 6 nights at the resort and we were only able to get 2 reservations. Another thing that bothered me was that a lot of dishes at the buffet were not covered and not refrigerated. We actually went out to eat in town on 2 of the nights. All in all, not a bad stay, if the quality of the food was improved I think it would be an awesome resort.

I am currently a guest, on day two of our trip. My wife booked this all inclusive to celebrate our wedding with our friends. I have been extremely disappointed in our experience that we paid $1300 USD for. - Hygiene. The worst is the bugs, specifically roaches. We have killed several in the bathroom and living area, unacceptable. I travel frequently and never had this experience. The bathroom needed to be cleaned again. The sink was grimy and fixtures stained. My friends in Hacienda did not have hot water. -Service. Upon entry we did not have any towels and the mini bar was not stocked. The bellhop assured us they would come. Never did. My friends were missing towels also. - Food. The food is bland and margaritas tasted of soap residue. - If you are honeymooning or simply value hygiene, do not spend your money here.

The worrrrrstttttt Read the bad reviews and believe them. I read them and thought the reviewers were stuck up and picky The food is Awful and bland. I’ve ordered Uber eats three times since being here It’s a bait and switch situation. The hotel needs MAJOR repairs and the staff is so stuck up and rude. No attention to detail. The beds are not made daily even though we leave a tip daily. The shower and AC do NOT work. Properly. Rooms smell musty. The staff at all the on site restaurants obvi don’t want to be there. We tipped generously PREVIOUS to any service and they took the money and just didn’t care about providing any service. Food was either over or under cooked. It’s obvious that they freeze the food and reserve it. Gross. All the Pools are set to 90 degrees and feels like a cesspool. People dropping drinks and food in the pool constantly, and one woman even PUKING in the pool. This place is HELL!!! Stay away

Hands down the WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed in Mexico! My husband and I went this past April 2023 and let me tell you a bit of all the things we went through in this hotel, the worst being me ending up FOOD POISONED 2 days before ending our vacation. When we got to the reception to check in, the person who helped us, put the bracelet on my husband’s wrist- where he was wearing his Apple Watch- after this, she proceeds to tell us that the bracelet may not work because he’s wearing the watch, then i kindly ask her to switch it to the other wrist and she INFORMS us that we have to pay $70 dlls for this. EXCUSE ME M’AM, you were the one that put the bracelet on that wrist! She then gets upset and made fun of my husband being upset in Spanish ( my husband only speaks English ) and then she was like “ he’s getting a bit irritated, I’ll do it for free” freaking ridiculous attitude and disrespectful! After that, we go to our room - mind you, we payed for a very expensive swim out room - and as we walk in, there is a huge death cockroach on sight! And another one by the AC! On top of this, we instantly realize they gave us a double bed room 🤦🏻‍♀️ Next morning, first breakfast at the hotel, someone was set on fire at the buffet! literally, she was SCREAMING for help, when finally someone came out of the kitchen to help, the cook burn her arm and we found out a few days after that she was in bad condition. Also, ironically, someone overheard our conversation about this whole thing by the pool and this person tells us that the same thing had happened 2 days prior 🤦🏻‍♀️ In general, food was MEDIOCRE at its best. The specialty restaurants were always full or you could only find super weird hours to go dine, like, either 5 pm or 9 pm. Ridiculous and disappointing given that this is an all inclusive hotel. The worst thing of this whole vacation was precisely our dinner at the Steakhouse. We had to wait until 9 pm to be seated and the waiter proceeds to tell me THERE IS NO STEAK LEFT. Excuse me? Help me to help you, you are telling me you made me wait for nothing? Of course i demanded steak to be found for us, they poorly deliver with some cheap steak for my husband and I was left with no option but to order the salmon. This is what I am 100% sure caused my infection. It’s the only thing my husband didn’t eat and I did. It was miserable, I had diarrhea, then vomit, I even had to go to the doctor and she had to inject antibiotics for 3 days in a row. I put several complains and NOTHING was ever done. Disgusting and disappointing, never again and shame on you to have this mediocre place running

We just returned from a weeks stay at this resort. Overall I feel disappointed in the value for cost. We paid a decent amount for this supposedly 4.5 star resort and feel it was absolutely not worth the price. - The pool at the hacienda adult only side was absolutely lovely and relaxing except the water was freezing cold. So cold it was impossible to enjoy and we came from Canada so this says a lot. The pool on the family side was perfect temperature but it was to loud for relaxing as we enjoyed at the adult only side. - the beach was gorgeous, they have ropes where people are not supposed to go past to bug you to buy things but this was not enforced at all. We sat on the beach for 30 minutes and were approached over 12 times which gets irritating fast. -our room was dated and dirty, mold in every corner and fixture. I’m desperate need of a Reno and deep cleaning. Our mini fridge was not stocked on arrival and was difficult to get filled every day. -the door in the room are paper thin, we didn’t sleep due to noise levels, the people below us checked in late and sat in there swim up pool and we could hear there entire conversation clear as day. We ended up having to go off property to purchase ear plugs to get some sleep. -breakfast was really good, we ate at the adult only side every morning and the staff and service was exceptional. -lunch/dinner/snack buffet was awful, we ate off the resort almost every day due to this which was costly when you are paying so much for an all inclusive. -steak restaurant food was really good, we waited over 1.5 hours for food which was frustrating but the food made up for it -overall the staff at this resort are amazing, they are the only saving grace.

I can honestly say that this is one of the best resorts I’ve stayed at. I’ve never taken the time to write a review until now because of how amazing my experience was. I stayed at the hacienda side (adults only) but enjoyed going to both sides. I Want to give a shout out to Pablo, Christian and Milton who really were amazing all through my stay. They really gave me a lot of tips since it was my first time there and they would also give me above and beyond service!! If you are by the beach ask for Christian; everyday he would always bring me drinks and food so I wouldn’t have to leave the Sun. Milton is one of the bartenders and Pablo is a server!! They always went above and beyond and Pablo would even bring us drinks to our private pool in Our room. Room service was always the same guy I forgot his name but he was so amazing every single time. I will be coming back for sure here!!

Krystal Altitude was an incredible 8 day stay. I booked through Air Canada and all of the resort staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly and eager to help and ensure my stay was good. The buffet has good options and the food was good. My room was clean and bed was comfortable. Mini fridge restocked daily and the beach was steps away from the pool and hotel rooms. The location is fantastic, you can easily walk to the marina in less then 15 minutes, Walmart in 20, the main road to catch a bus in 5. The pool chairs do fill up quickly, however I never had a problem finding a chair at the pool or beach regardless of the time of day that I went. I think for larger groups you might have trouble finding 4+ chairs together if you are going later then 8 or 9 am and before 2pm. There was some complaints from other guest that I heard, but in my opinion some people are impossible to please regardless. I heard comments like there was no bacon left and the steak didn't taste like at home. Is this really a priority or the reason why you visit Mexico? Anyways, back to my recommendation... Definitely book at Krystal Altitude.

My mom and I stayed here back in February and for the most part, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! But what I really wanted to inform everyone is to HIDE THEIR CASH OR ANYTHING VALUABLE IN THE SAFE BOX! On the first day we arrived, I put the Do Not Disturb sign on our door. I didn’t want anyone coming into our room if we were not there. Well the next day comes around, and my mom and I go hangout by the beach/pool for most of the day. When we return back to our room later that afternoon, we realized the Do Not Disturb sign was taken off our door and cleaners had entered our room and straightened up. That’s when I noticed my purse had been tampered with… I counted my cash and saw I was short $60. (I believe they only took a portion of my cash thinking I wouldn’t notice). We informed the front desk, they had Jesus (head of security) run an investigation and interview the cleaning lady who entered our room. He also interviewed two maintenance workers who entered our room that day to work on the phones, even though we never called to have our phones fixed?? Jesus was SUPER sweet and tried to keep us well informed the entire trip. Unfortunately, by the end of our trip, the manager told us there was nothing they could do because my money wasn’t in the safe box. They did give my mom and I a complimentary $30 min massage. Other than that, my mom and I really enjoyed our time here! The pools were beautiful, the food was good… and the views were amazing.

We had a swim out and loved everything about it. We were actually near a pool bar so the pool servers would actually bring us drinks when they could. So awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful. Love this place, I will be back. Downside the food portions are on the smaller side. There are 4 restaurants you have to make a reservation and can only do 1 reservation per day. You have to go to the lobby every morning to do so and I went first thing in the morning but most reservations were taken. We did get early dining every day. Never had such a hard time getting a reservation. There are other choices. All in all I love this place. The sunset from the rooftop pool on the Krystal Altitude is amazing. Must do this. We even got to watch a cruise ship come into the marina.

I am really torn at this time. I will start with the pros. PROS: The resort is beautiful, the pool is nice, the greenery is amazing, the rooms are just as pictured, very clean, minus the mosquitos. We reserved and paid for a swim up pool in our room, which was great to have, especially when you did not want to be at the crowded main pool. Someone cleans your pool daily. The staff was extremely nice on all the premises. You do have a refrigerator in the room that is full on beer and water that you can drink as much as you'd like. When we did get reservations for a restaurant the food was pretty good, the Mexican restaurant (La Catrina, i think) was really good, THE BEST. The sushi on the rooftop pool was pretty good, but more options would be kind of nice. They do sell cigars at the store on the Hilton side and there are signs that say "no smoking", but everyone smokes cigarettes. They have cute iguanas named Bobo, Pepe, Jennifer that join the pool area everyday around lunch time. The iguanas are really nice, but will eat your food. CONS: Our room had plumbing issues. The shower water would not drain which we reported at least 2 times and no one fixed it, there was no hot water, also reported and it was not fixed, so this lead us to taking bird baths in the tub with hot water. Upon check in, in our case about 4pm, they do not tell you that reservations are not accepted beyond 5 pm, so once we settled into our room we went to find a nice bite to eat, we could not get reservations anywhere as they all said they were "booked" and they were pretty much empty, leaving us to eat at the buffet, which the food was picked over and flies were every where. PLEASE MAKE RESERVATIONS AS SOON AS YOU ARRRIVE! The food options by the pool are just ok. I wish they had authentic tacos. In the mornings the hallways were so loud as there is cobble stone on the ground so you can her the carts rolling over the stone, so take ear plugs. Their social media shows top notch mixologist making drinks and not once did I see a mixologist making drinks that were as exquisite as shown on social. Room service is $8 and if you are paying for all inclusive that should be included. When housekeeping is cleaning your room they keep the door open, allowing the mosquitos to enter the room. My back looks like I have the chicken pox. the Wi-Fi is TERRIBLE. Did not work in our room at all, only in the common areas. About 24 hours before you depart you MUST take a COVID test in which they send you off-sight and you have to pay for transportation to get there and back. The pool in our room had lights in the pool but no where to turn the lights or the jets on. Besides the occasional weddings there was not much activities going on the resort. The beach area is a nice size, but if the vendors did not bother you and they cleaned it thoroughly, it would be better.

The hotel is very dated. The shower flooded, there were stains on the couch, chair, and curtains, The mini refrigerator was not cold and the ceiling fan didn’t work. While we were there one of the 2 main pools was unusable. All of this could have been overlooked if the food was edible , but it was not. The restaurants were super slow. It took 2 hours to serve dinner and it was gross! There were flies on everything at the buffets. We paid for all inclusive and had to eat out every day because we got food poisoning from the buffet. The alcohol was so watered down. It wasn’t even worth drinking. We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the staff was very kind and tried to be as accommodating as possible. Save yourself the headache and choose another hotel!

A nice place, nice views. The Hacienda side was really nice. The food selection in the main buffet restaurant was quite small. There is a snack area and a separate swim up bar in the Hacienda side. Didn't try the Ă  la carte restaurants as we were only there for a short stay. The shops in the hotel were quite expensive. The hotel is a very short transfer away from the airport. It's close to shops and amenities. Overall a pleasant experience and a nice place to stay.

When I stay at resort it was under remodeling, but when I did my reservation no one told me about that, also they took for ever to send me a confirmation email, it was a lot of noise during the day, also there was a issue with the electricity and it took a while till they told me that that was cause because they use electric cards, bad communication, also I pay for all inclusive and I noticed some of the servers have a bad attitude and they only serve other people that look high class faster and they had good attitude if you live theme a tip, how they expected a good tip if the service is is just poor, that was my first time going to Puerto Vallarta and I had a really bad experience at that resort. I wouldn’t recommend to stay there. other than that Vallarta is an amazing place to visit but I won’t stay there again.

The Krystal Altitude is a wonderful resort with exceptional staff that do a fantastic job in order to make your stay as close to perfect as they can make it. Sure the resort is undergoing renovations but apart from that, it is a most beautiful place to spend a vacation. I was able to meet the chef of the IL Formaggio restaurant yesterday after having a tremendous meal of just pure heavenly food. It is evident that Luis, the chef, loves what he does as it translates into the artistry that he creates. He and his staff strive to make your experience a memorable one and to be totally honest, it was some of the best food I have ever eaten. We had the great pleasure of meeting Daniel and the other staff at Talavera and enjoyed a wonderful meal in a beautiful environment.. This leads me to the front desk, where the most friendly, helpful, and just a person that does her utmost to try and make every effort to make your stay, the best it can be. Griselda has been nothing but a gem to us during our stay here and I must say that she makes great efforts to help anyway she can. I can say that this resort was not something that was recommended to us when we were figuring out where we were going to go, but it is most definitely a place I will certainly try to come back to. If you are looking to be pampered with excellent service, absolutely next level foods and a resort full of exceptional people who work very hard to make your stay as good as it gets, the Krystal Altitude Vallarta hits all the marks and then some

Stayed for 7 nights from Dec 1 to Dec 8, 2021 at Hacienda side. Starting with Pros: - Pools were nice and spacious, hacienda side pool was very relaxing and not crowded like Hilton one - Rooms were in a decent conditions, spacious, not outdated and well designed, also had scale, which was good to control how much you re eating - ACs in units were quite and worked well to keep the temperature a the set level - All the guest facing stuff was courteous and did a great job - Food in the restaurants by reservations was decent, nothing to rave about, but was good enough Now the Cons: - Cleanliness of the rooms had concerns, I had to switch from first room, cause both of the beds had hair on sheets, housekeepers doesn’t seem to change sheets after checkouts. Also, hair in the bathroom was in both rooms. - Food in the buffet was way below of what I had in any of the European buffets and Cruises, tasteless and very cheap, it was really a challenge to find something good to fill the plate with. There was almost no variations in the menu for 7 days, both, lunch, breakfast and dinner. Fruits were great (Papaya, pineapple, watermelon and melons) - There was no activities, barely any music, the only regular thing was volleyball in the pool and nothing else for the whole resort, very disappointed on this. - Noise levels were quite high in the rooms as well, had to use earplugs at night

At this location, the management is lacking and upon entering, you are left to welcome yourself. English is not spoken by anyone, and the check-in process can take up to two hours. There is only one woman who is friendly, but she is primarily focused on selling activities or providing information about invitations. The rooms we were given had multiple issues, with nothing working properly and being very dirty. When we complained, we were told that we had a "garden view," but there was no garden, only a street. Cleaning seems to be neglected as there is no vacuuming or mopping taking place. The buffet provided is of poor quality, and the fish had been left out for so long that both my husband and I became ill. Surprisingly, despite being an expensive all-inclusive resort, there is no room service available. Additionally, not all drinks at the coffee shop are complimentary. Some of the staff members are friendly, while others won't even approach your table unless tipped. It's important to note that they tend to disappear once you have tipped them. The lack of special entertainment and the quality of the food at the on-site restaurant is average. Some dishes listed on the menu are already available at the buffet, and if you want to try them, it's necessary to book them in advance and hope that the staff member arrives on time. "We had an issue with the ATM where it charged my card but didn't dispense any cash. However, when we reported it to the lobby, they stated that it wasn't their responsibility." In conclusion, I would advise against wasting your money and risking the quality of your vacation by choosing to stay at this establishment.

This is now the Krystal Altitude, so don't be confused if you can't find them! This is a very small resort, something I haven't experienced on vacation before. But everything going on was great. The food was some of the best I've had. Meals were consistently impressive, well cooked, with appealing presentation. The Krystal group is completely overhauling the building and renovating every space. The noise was reasonable from the pool/beach, and was kept to normal time frames for those relaxing. Our room was a room. We didn't really spend time there. The temperature was reasonable, which can be an issue in resorts, and things were clean every day. Our fridge wasn't keeping cool and they came right away to deal with it! There is a sushi bar here, which was pretty cool. Adults only with an adults only pool. Up on the 5th floor and overlooking the beach and ocean. Plus, it was included in the booking! You are so close to the airport that travel time was minimal. However, there really wasn't much air noise as no planes went over the resort. We were also able to walk to business centers near by, and to get local food off resort, whenever we wanted. Single pool, but decently large and never felt over crowded. Lots of seating at the pool and beach, so even with 6 of us we could usually get chairs together. The ocean is definitely for stronger swimmers only. The drop-off was just a few feet off shore and it went from ankle deep to 7'+ instantly. Also meant getting out could be tough if you didn't know how. But very swimable and protected from waves. The only real issue was the lack of bars, meaning service could be slow. One lobby bar, one beach bar. There were a couple others we could go to as an event, like the Sushi bar and Sky Bar (next door), but not for general service. The beach bar usually opened closer to 1pm, so service was generally slow.

One of the nicest hotel experience ever, the service is top notch and the food at the restaurants is very good. The breakfast buffet is good especially the “Mexican” options which are very very good but the “American” type foods is good just not great but they have a lot of options to choose from. The snacks are also very good and the drinks and bars are top notch. The rooms feel modern and the beds are very comfortable. The property is clean and the pool and beach is very nice. I love this hotel and our family had a great trip. Plus my kid loved the kids club! Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing stay!! Hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Resort and rooms were very clean each day of our stay. Fairly quiet resort on the Hacienda side unless you are on the side facing the potato heads on the street then you could here the live music from the bar "monkey business" down the street. Nothing a little white noise couldn't drown out. Shutout to our favourite staff Juan (pool side) and Patricia (sushi bar) for making sure our stay was enjoyable.

Firstly, the best part of our stay was the great staff. Everyone working for the resort were kind, courteous, and were very helpful. It was probably what saved us from a worse experience. The review of our experience was based on the fact that this resort is rated at 4 stars, and is perceptively one of the "classier" places in PV. With those expectations we were hoping for a lot more, but sadly Krystal Altitude came way short. Sadly the biggest disappointment was the food quality. Although it wasn't bad, by any means, it was also not very good. Flavours were bland, options were limited, and the dishes were repetitive. We read reviews of this place before coming and a lot of the feedback was regarding the lackluster food. We were hoping that this was just an anomaly, or at the very least, they would improve on the quality before we got there. That was not the case, and talking to the other guests there, it was the primary complaint. The other disappointment, was the noise heard from our room. We traveled with our toddler and thankfully he is a heavy sleeper. In the evenings, they have dance parties with loud music, which is then coupled with loud patrons, heavily under the influence. We're not opposed to people having a good time, especially during their vacation, but because of the open space and the proximity of the lounge (where the parties are held) to the rooms, it makes for a very disruptive night. If you're a light sleeper, you'll definitely have difficulty getting rest during your stay. Other than that, the place is nice, the upkeep is not bad, and the people are great. But if you're expecting a luxurious, and relaxing stay, you might be better off somewhere else. It was a good vacation overall, but we won't be staying here again in the future.

This was my second time staying here and definitely my last. It makes sense that the Hilton is getting rid of this hotel in their chain. The only reason I’m giving it three stars is for the wonderful service from the concierge to the bartenders and wait staff. We had issues with our original room and they kindly upgraded us to a different room. My partner and I stayed at the Hacienda for five nights. After the first two days of eating at the restaurants on property, we decided to go downtown for the other nights as the food on property was tasteless and uninspired. The restaurants don’t offer much variety- it is the same menu with different sauces to match the theme of the restaurant. The one benefit is that we ventured out of the hotel to discover the local restaurants, which were all delicious. Overall I would not recommend staying here

Won’t come back. We had to ask for another room because the first one had a lot of issues and the second one had even more 🤦🏻‍♀️ a/c didn’t work, the bed was missing one leg (can you imagine?) we called the front desk like 100 times and they NEVER picked the phone. Wifi sucked. Food is just ok. Speciality restaurants are not good. Service in general is good/friendly staff. The hotel looks like an apocalypse just happened and they’re trying to rebuild everything. A lot of things don’t work. Elevators are super old and just one of them worked for the whole hotel.

This place was amazing! Location was perfect, the resort was beautiful and the people who work there were so friendly! Each and everyone of the staff went above and beyond to help you. We had Francisco serve us a few days at the buffet and he was such a sweet man. 100% best service I have ever had! We also enjoyed all the activities that they put on during the day. My husband and I played water polo for the first time and we couldn't stop laughing.. Unfortunately I didn't catch the leaders name - but he was also so sweet and kind. Thank you to you all for such a wonderful and memorable experience. Can't wait to go back again!

Hotel has some construction going on which was no bother to us. Look forward to seeing when completed in the future. The room was very nice and clean. Washroom stall very small. Kept up daily. Refrigerator was restocked daily. Balcony quite small. But a beautiful ocean and pool view room.

No complaints , service was good , Hacienda was adults only, nice and quiet. We had access to the Krystal resort next door and all amenities. We used the private pool on our room a lot. It was nice. Food was what you would expect from an all inclusive. Photo is from Krystal resort next door. Hacienda is back from the water.

Upon entering the driveway, one immediately is at the reception/lobby of the resort. There aren’t any doors—just open. We arrived before the check-in rush and we’re able to book our room immediately. I requested an upgrade but we would have to wait about 2-3 hours, so I opted to keep ours. While checking-in, our bags were held by a staff member amongst many other bags. Once checked in, we were escorted to transportation (which while planning this trip, it was suggested that I use one of their companies on site to book transportation services—I’ll separate that review). About 30 minutes of dealing with transportation paperwork and payment, then we were lead to our room…with our bags. Our room was beautiful. Very spacious—actually, almost like a suite. The bathroom had a separate tub, walk-in shower, two sinks and separate toilet. The room had a large sofa and a small dining table area. The patio had a beautiful view of the beach…also with a large tub (jacuzzi), which seemed old and didn’t have a cork to cover—we had to get a washcloth. My disappointment was that, even if I booked a king size room, I was given two queen beds. Rather than having to deal with all that lengthy ordeal, we kept the room. (I checked my reservation forms to double check and it did say “king.”) The beautiful photos you see of the pool areas online, most likely are from the adult hotel Hacienda, which is also a Krystal Altitude resort and in my option, far superior. We loved the quick access to the beach. We were able to quickly grab beach loungers and somewhat relax under umbrellas. There were MANY MANY vendors approaching us—so, it was difficult to close our eyes peacefully, without being interrupted. We wanted to use one of the pools but it was difficult as there were many loungers/chairs reserved (mind you, we were told seats could only be help for 60 minutes before staff went to clear them—never saw that happen). There were day beds available, but that was another walk to the lobby and another lengthy process, so we skipped it and grabbed a quick bite from the snack area—burgers and soggy tempura. One evening, there was a wedding on the beach and their event went on past midnight, and we could hear many of the guests still rowdy on the beach by our room. We were able to eat at the buffet by the pools. It had a better selection of food and morning mimosas. After a nice beach walk, wanting to lounge by pool, again, unable to because by 9am, every chair had a towel on it but no one in pool. We walked over to the Hacienda side, (we were informed with our bracelet, we were able to). Immediately walking there, the feeling of regret in booking Krystal hit. The environment was different—no loud pool activities but quietness (even with a pool yoga class there). We got lounge seats under an umbrella. And stayed there most of the day (this place has a separate review). We kept having to go down to the lobby due to our key bracelets constantly stop working. In 3 days, we maybe went to have it reset about 5-6 times. Kind of a disappointment when after a long day, you just want to go straight to your room…having to walk extra all the way to the lobby was one thing, but having no one available, separately from the check-in/out crowd, was something else. Krystal used to be a Hilton. Unfortunately, to me, this is nowhere being what I expected. I’ve done a few all inclusive resorts and what I paid, certainly was not worth it, especially when it comes to the food. I cannot even remember what I ate—that’s. Having a room near the pool was a mistake, as the party atmosphere echoes through and it was difficult to just be and relax, when we were in the room. The one thing that will stay with me though, is the amazing generosity of the staff. I never came across anyone who was rude in any way. Especially the staff getting our drinks at the beach or the pool area in adult side (hacienda). Evening shows at the lobby, were fantastic, as well. Note that if you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t the place.

10/10 experience at this resort! Huge shoutouts to the resort staff for being so friendly, kind, and attentive. Carlos at the Hacienda pool is amazing! So friendly, so funny, and such a hard worker! Dilan and Jose at the lobby bar work so hard and make the best drinks! They’re also both very friendly and fun to be around. The food was great there were different themes to the buffets every night and the themed restaurants were exquisite! Pools were amazing and we were never without a drink anywhere we went on the resort. The staff are amazing! So many good things to say about this place. Very well maintained and clean everywhere. Would recommend to anyone! We will be back

Stayed at Krystal Altitude for a week and had a great experience with no complaints. We stayed in a Jr Suite Swim out - pool was warm, room and bathroom were very big. Buffets had lots of options and we were able to make reservations at four a la carte restaurants during our check in. Staff were very friendly and the service was incredible, we were never without a drink! We were able to walk to both the downtown and the marina from the resort or it's a short uber/taxi ride away. Enjoyed many beautiful walks along the beach. Definitely would recommend!

This hotel was undergoing transition when we were there. Our room was very nice and our mini fridge was refilled regularly. We found service in most areas was very good. We really enjoyed the buffet restaurant for breakfast and lunch. We liked the beach and the proximity to downtown and the Marina. The service, despite the heat, was very good on the beach, too. The only thing missing is a swim up bar. We would recommend this hotel and, in fact, we are returning in January, 2024.

Pros: The rooms here are spacious and well lit. You are pretty close to the main nightlife in town if you want to venture out, more so than the larger resorts to the north. Also the employees seem to be an average level of friendly. Everything you need is close together. It's also very affordable. The beach is an easy walk and pretty nice (for Mexico.) Cons: I stayed in the adult only area. My main complaint was that the entire thurs-sun visit we did not have enough shower towels despite requesting them multiple times. We also any never at any time had washcloths, a bath mat nor hand towels. Their excuse provided was there was a problem with the washing machine. How can you allow this to happen as a hotel? Also how confident can I be that the sheets are actually clean if this is the case? My fiance and I had only two bath towels the entire trip and they were the ones that came with the room initially. Keep you expectations down for the food unless you really like hamburgers, chicken nuggets and hot dogs. Liquor is also low tier. The beer was fine though; It comes from a can. Conclusion: For what I paid and the fact it's all inclusive I guess it makes sense? If we had towels we would have been a lot better off. Definitely would not come back. Hopefully they can address the problems after reading my feedback above.

We stayed in September 2023 at Hacienda in Krystal grand. Overall service was ok but we had a lot of issues when we wanted to upgrade our room. we paid the full upgrade amount for the walk out pool room but while we were staying in the room, there were workers doing pool maintenance and left the area and pool dirty. so we asked for a refund which they said they will give us at the checkout day. It has been over 3 months now! we have still not received our refund even after we have been following up with the manager (Ernesto) but there is no update on the refund! we ruined our experience because of all this. There is so much we want to update on but we would first like to hear back from the management about our refund!

Our room was great! We got a pool and ocean view room that was absolutely beautiful. Guest attendants left it clean everyday. Good options are excellent, we had a very attentive server every morning for breakfast we loved her, unfortunately did not get her name. At the pool we got Abraham as our server and he was also really attentive & amazing!! Definitely bring tip money. 10/10 recommend this hotel. Family friendly but it’s also connected to The Hacienda which is adult only & you can walk over too.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any resort. They compare thousands of booking web sites and typically will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! Beautiful and convenient location, buffet food was bland and poor quality, specialty restaurants only 3 available with reservation, were good. Many amenities and events limited due to pandemic. Check-in, front desk hospitality need polishing and more staff availability to make guests feel welcomed and oriented.

We were there 1/13-1/18. The staff was nice and attentive. The view from our balcony was beautiful and it was a mostly relaxing trip. We saw some whales and sting rays from our balcony. The food was mostly good at all the restaurants but the very pricey lobster was not worth it as half of it was very tough and not edible. Quite a few people we were with got sick at some point. Not sure if it was the food or ice, but that's my guess. The rooms were nice and clean, but not without their issues. Very slow draining water in the sink and shower, shower head needs maintenance, and we got locked out of our room twice because of a faulty key card reader. The pools are in some real need of maintenance. They are no longer functional infinity pools as they do not flow over the sides like they're supposed to. There are A LOT of loose and missing tiles coming off the bottom and sides of the pool. The family pool is warmer than the adult pool. The sky bar on the 7th floor was pretty cool especially early in the day since it gets sun before the pools do. It has 2 hot tubs but only 1 is actually hot. My wife preferred the one that was not hot, so maybe that's a good thing.

The worst hotel experience in my life! One hour standing waiting for the registration. The building is very bad. Their service is lousy. The air is mouldy everywhere. The old mouldy bed has blood stains and body hair. The toilet, the curtains, the ceiling...Even it's hard to find a socket plug to charge my phone. All of these even make me feel what a shame to have Hilton membership. I have 10 years of visiting Puerto Vallarta. Sheraton Buganvilias is cheaper and way much better. Try, compare, and you will know.

Room 646. Free Room Upgrade. Absolutely Beautiful view of the Ocean. Great food. Beach access was wonderful. However, Room services on days 2 and 3 was not consistently performed at same time and had to request the cleaning be done after the 4pm cutoff time. The room had a great view but smelled a little bit like mildew. The bathroom was really small and I kept hitting my knees on the glass door when using the toilet. The water from the shower leaks all over the floor when taking a shower. Other than those items the stay was great! The only other annoyance was the constant vendors walking back and forth on the beach trying to sell us stuff when we were trying to relax on the beach. I would definitely come back.

First time at an all-inclusive resort. This place doesn't disappoint! The staff are very nice and extremely helpful. Plenty of pool space and very easy to the beach. If you are planning to see the Malecon area, it's about 3.3 miles from this resort. P.S. just a heads up, don't expect to get fine dining quality food at any all-inclusive resort.

Where do I begin. For starters, they will not allow Service animals on site at all. My dog is registered and trained for medical assistance “ not emotional support “. Spoke with customer relations and called the Hilton and still would not allow my pet on site. We we’re only there for day pass to visit our parents that flew in to see our new house. Vendors bothered us more than my dog would’ve bothered anyone else BTW and they cross the ropes. I understand Mexico and US has different rules but as a major hotel chain known globally should honor rules regardless. If this was the US they would have a lawsuit on their hands. So don’t plan on registering as a guest or visiting family at this hotel if you have a service animal. Sham on you Hilton!! Secondly, day pass; $100 not even worth $50. Service slow, servers was polite, food was blaaa, and they screwed up our drink order every time. Front desk staff and guest relations was somewhat friendly but for Mexican culture they were rude. Once again sham on you Hilton!!!! I might look into the laws here for my service animal and see what they can do. Sorry Hilton :(

Halfway through our trip and pretty dissapointed. The Hacienda is marketed as a relaxing adults only retreat but since we've been here it feels nothing like that. Here is the good and the bad so far from our stay: This resort is party central especially on the Hacienda side. During the day, the pool is one big obnoxious screaming drunken party with people battling for music with private speakers which starts in the morning and doesn't end until after the sun sets. We don't mind people having a good time but it's a non stop screaming party all day and not relaxing, so we have started going to the Hilton side. At least on that side you can sit on the beach and the constant heckling of beach vendors is all you need to worry about. We chose a swim up room because we wanted to treat ourselves but were really let down because the water in the pools is unbelievably cold. Everyone we've talked to who has a swim up says the same thing, it's wasted because it's absolutely freezing. We've only seen one room using their pool and they seemed really drunk so it made sense. The pool rooms are in the shade because the palm fronds grow right over the rooms so not much sun no matter where your room is located. There also seems to be an algae problem in the swim up room pools with big clouds of yellow sediment which the pool maintenance tries to clean every morning but it's always back the next day. The rooms are also extremely loud day and night. Expect to wear plugs every night of the stay because there is no sound proofing from the hallways, the doors are spring loaded and slam shut, and again, there is partying going on at the rooftop bar until 1am most nights. It's good that there are entertainment options but the Hacienda rooftop lounge is again is a pretty obnoxious party scene and there is nowhere to enjoy drinks and hear your own conversation. The Hilton lobby bar isn't much different but it all depends on what type of vacation your looking for. Now, on the pro's side of things the staff are really lovely, attentive and friendly. Out of all the places we've been o In puerto vallarta, the staff at this resort are the best. The food and drinks are also top notch, and I think my husband might run away with the omelet lady! No matter what you need in terms of food or drink or housekeeping, the staff seem to be very accommodating. Just ask and you shall receive. We almost switched rooms at one point because of the noise and the manager was very understanding. He assured us that the loud group next to us was leaving the next day, but if we still wanted to move rooms it wasn't a problem. Overall, the Hacienda is not what we expected. We really wanted that relaxing getaway feeling from this side of the resort and that hasn't been our experience so far. Unless things miraculously get better during our stay we probably won't be coming back and I don't think we'll recommend this hotel to friends unless they want a party scene.

Our family had a marvelous time at the Hilton! We ended up staying in the Hacienda side for 7 nights. It is a very beautiful place and the rooms were amazing. Lizette Gonzales was so very helpful. She really made our stay wonderful. Hippolita was my kids favorite waiter. I also thought Javier was amazing fast at getting our drinks at the pool, as well as Dulce. The Mexican and French restaurants were our favorite. The location was close to the Marina, so we walked to our Adventure Vallarta excursion, which was crazy awesome! We took a bus into town, which is cheap, but hot and more walking than I prefer, I wished we took a taxi. Hilton was a great choice for our family. The drinks and food were excellent.

We did a destination wedding at the Hilton/Hacienda and it was fantastic! The staff were very courteous and professional. Wendy and the staff did a great job of hosting the wedding with both Canadian and Mexican family and friends attending. Food was fabulous and the Mariachi band was amazing. Thank you so much! If there is only one thing I would change it would be the wifi. Bouncing between the pubic wifi and the Hilton members only wifi in the rooms was a pain. Would recommend having free wifi across entire Hilton and Hacienda properties.

3-Star Hotel with 5-star prices! I stayed at this hotel for 7 days, in two different rooms. Many cons, but listed some pro's in the end: Cons- -One of the elevators was broken and made going up and down our room take forever. -Check-in for everyone was after 4pm, no exceptions -Very unorganized, they need better room logistics for reservations - We were told there were no rooms ready and us befriending the maid, was told there was actually a few rooms ready, but nothing to communicate to the front desk but a piece of paper. It's 2022 - get a tablet, even a Google document would greatly help organize! -Rooms are on the pricier side, and don't feel it's worth the price. Shower was clogged up, toilet had flushing issue, walk-out pool heater turns off at night -Only had 1 entertainment/show at hotel the entire stay (a Friday mariachi dinner, which they did a really great job here). Wish they did more. -Dinner reservations didn't make sense, people don't show up and the tables are considered "lost". Saw plenty of tables empty. -Very limited buffet choices with very little change on a daily basis. Also, only offered guacamole at 1 specific spot at lunch, no guacamole at all main spots. Pros- -Close to the airport -Situated very close to the city center -Clean beaches -Staff was friendly and often attentive after giving a tip -Heated pool at the hacienda side of the hotel -Loved the separation of adult side and family friendly side -Felt the place was clean

I stayed here for a week with my two daughters and had the best time ever. Place is beautiful and maintained well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They went far and beyond to help and serve us. Food selection wasn't huge but the food was good and they had plenty of fruits. I would highly recommend and would return here to stay again. Thank you for making our vacation great.

Wow! When our taxi arrived at The Hacienda Hilton we were immediately greeted by friendly smiling faces welcoming us with a refreshing drink. We had a pool view room which was one of the largest rooms we've ever had on a resort. The room was well appointed, clean and comfy beds. What makes this resort is the staff. Everyone of the staff we encountered was always smiling and friendly. They will go above and beyond to accommodate you and make you happy. Our special thanks to Ivan, Antonio, Laritza and Gabriela, our breakfast team, Marcos the doorman and Aurthuro at the reception desk. This is a small cozy adult resort. It has a beautiful setting, however, there is no view of the ocean. The beach is accessible by the family resort side of the property. Fantastic views from the rooftop infinity pool & sushi bar. The food was very good at the specialty restaurants. Our favorite was the Mexican, but you cannot beat the sunset views from the Italian restaurant. It was not difficult to reserve at any of the restaurants, but you can only make reservations for 2 days at a time. Pool side bar drinks & service were outstanding. Tips are very much appreciated and well deserved. Some patrons did get very loud at the pool on a few days showing no respect for the other guests, through no fault of the resort. There is another quieter pool beside the pool restaurant. As far as evening entertainment, there isn't any with the exception of a few musicians by the bar in the main lobby on the family side. If you're looking for production shows, you won't find it at this resort. One evening we went to old Town Puerto Vallarta and walked along the MalecĂłn boardwalk. Plenty of activiy to see and do. There are excursions you can take, but we didn't do any, since we were there for a week. The is a shopping mall and a Walmart close to the Marina, about a 10-15 minute walk. Taxis are inexpensive, but settle on a price with the driver before hopping in. My husband and I loved this resort and we are already planning our return.

The staff and service are great The room we were given had issues the first night the toilet ran all night they did come to fix it. They are in the middle of re-painting and remodeling and the view was of another building. In the middle of remodeling noise and paint smell.

Enjoyed my stay! Will definitely be back! Pros: -Mexican and Italian restaurants were good! -Hacienda pool was great to hangout at (adults only area). -Good view from the rooms on the Hilton side. -Great service staff all around the hotel! Dulce and Christian were great! -Omelettes for breakfast we’re good! Cons: -One of the elevators is broken so it can take some time to get downstairs on the Hilton side. - Buffet dinner food isn’t as good as the restaurants. Recommend making a reservation at one of the restaurants. -Not much in terms of night entertainment

This is the first all inclusive resort we have been to. The grounds are beautiful and everything is clean and well thought out. The service is very good and everyone is friendly and attentive. The buffet food was just ok but the server kept coming with more tequila which we really appreciated. The rooms are big and have a great vibe to them.

For the most part it was a great stay, here are some pros and cons: Pros: great service and staff, they were really attentive and are a huge part of me characterizingthe stay as great; delicious food and good variety; nice and clean rooms with comfy beds; nice pools with cool water. Cons: restaurants by reservation only and you have to go to the buffet the first night because reservations close early; very late check in (4pm) and very early check out (11 am); hot water wasn't always available in the room; and the one thing that I really disliked is that there aren't enough umbrellas for staying at the beach/pool, so if you want some shade you have to join the hunger games at 8 am to get a good spot... it's a Hilton, I'm pretty sure they can buy umbrellas? Anyways, it was mostly nice and enjoyable, although I think I prefer resorts that have more relaxed policies on reservations and check ins.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The only thing 4 star about this motel is the friendly staff. They were great!! Notice I didn’t say resort. It gives all motel vibes. It’s super tiny (maybe two acres in total) and in desperate need of a total demolition and rebuild. The rooms were even small. All of the amenities, beach, nice restaurants, gift shop, excursion bookings, etc. are located at the sister resort next door, not on the Hacienda property. There were iguanas pooping in the pool like it was the norm. Gross! The only good food was breakfast. Lunch and dinner, don’t even think about it. I would have rather packed a lunch from the US. Speaking of food, it’s not “all inclusive” as it suggests. You are charged $8.00 each time you order food to your room. That’s not all-inclusive, AT ALL! Also, the “adult only” attraction is a flat out LIE and a way to get adults to book it. There were children in the pool almost everyday during a 4 day stay. I reiterate, DO NOT STAY HERE!!

We stayed at the Adults only Hacienda for a week and were absolutely enthralled by the experience, our room was beautiful we had the swim out which was great if you wanted to avoid the big pool, Let me just say the service was out of this world, Juan at the Pool. Donaldo at front desk, these guys could not have gone more out of there way for us. I highly recommend the Hacienda, its a bit more exclusive than the Hilton hotel but you can use all the facilities there including the additional restaurants which brings me to the food, the only let down we had was the French restaurant all the others were decent enough for a hotel restaurant. Thanks Hacienda and your team, we will for sure be back early next year.

The Hacienda is a really good resort, we loved our room with a whirlpool tub. the food however was not our taste. Didn't like that we needed to make reservations in all the restaurants. We could definitely understand if 1 or 2 needed it daily but not all. The lunch buffet at the pool was decent and their guacamole was excellent. The service at the Hacienda pool was top notch and we LOVED Juan and Dulche. The gentleman at the front were very attentive and on point. The service at the Mediterranean Restaurant was below par. They pushed you to order when with some friends even though they were not busy. Overall the score is based on the pool service (which would be a 5)

Terrible treatment! WAY over priced & not all inclusive! There were NO (0) restaurants open when we checked in (hungry)at 5pm. Only very limited room service that they charge you $8 for. The AC in the room didn't work; took an hour to get a new room! They wanted me to wait for a repair man?!

Bad customer service at reception desk area. Poor communication with reception desk clerks and maintenance personnel. Was issued a dirty non working room to only be transferred to a worse room. To avoid another move, just had them clean the room and change the sheets. I can’t believe you would give a guest a used dirty room with used soap in the tub. Thankfully Hilton name is no no longer associated with their customer service. The pools and the greenery are nice, too bad for the poor customer service

Stayed at this hotel in mid July 2022. I had a bad experience and will never go back. I got to my room and the room was dusty. I could have wrote my name on the side table with my finger. The sheets were dirty. The balcony furniture was full of mold. Went to the desk several times. The first time they came and changed the sheets. My room was changed the day before I left. The food wasn't all that great. The drinks were watered down. On the day I checked out I was asked how was my stay? I told the front desk personnel my experience and didn't even get an apology. They were so focused on cutting the bracelet off my hand. Maybe it was to shut me up before the other guest heard what I was saying. I went there expecting to have a great experience but was very disappointed. Will never go back to this hotel. I gave them a 2 because I loved the beach and the pool.

Big mistake. Walls and ceilings are falling down. Black mold in the shower. A/C not working. The staff are great and very nice. I believe the staff are doing the best they can but management is not taking care of the site properly. The food was also lacking. They need a new executive chef, new management, and a focus on facilities maintenance.

Let me start off by saying that this stay was one of our best ones yet! I did come across an issue with the wifi the first day, but it was immediately fixed once Mr. Jimenez knew about it. He made our stay even more pleasant as he continued to check in with us. He’s friendly, kind and the most helpful. One hundred percent recommend.

Visited for my birthday. Very good service. Rooms are pretty standard unless you get a suite I imagine. But even in my standard king room there was a very big tub with jets on the balcony on the 12th floor to enjoy the sunset and view! After some initial concerns, my service dog was very welcome at this location. Thank you Hilton.
