Trip was amazing, they took their time to make sure we were prepared and comfortable, brought us to a couple great locations, provided lunch and hydration. What a great day! Eric was a wonderful instructor and taught us all about the area and ocean life we could and did see. Hearing the whales sing while under water was magical. Thank you!

Cesar is a great guide. My husband and I were able to go on a trip with 3 other divers while we were in town. He provided all the necessary equipment, including a 7mm wetsuit. The dives themselves were fantastic. He took his time and was wonderful with my husband who was diving for the first time since getting certified. The first half of the first five was a little low on life, but he was able to get us to a place where it was abundant. Between dives, he fed us fruit and water. He even accommodated me getting a little seasick by letting me get into the water to calm down and putting the gear on rather than keeping me on the boat. After the second dive, we got sandwiches made by his wife which were delicious. I would definitely recommend using him if you're going to PV.

We had a great experience with Max and Cesar at Banderas Scuba, allowing my partner to do her certification while I (already certified) did a refresher and joined the dives. Max was very patient, the equipment was good and both the dive shop (30 minute walk from Zona Romantica) and the pier (in Zona Romantica) were convenient locations. There was a fair bit of waiting around on most days for pickup/collection, and they weren't able to be very flexible with dates which meant a lot of rushing around for us during our holiday, but overall I would recommend it. I wish it was possible to book on the website or email, instead of everything via WhatsApp.

Couldn’t have had a better experience! Cesar was kind and professional, and Ricardo (my dive master) was patient and experienced! It was my first time diving and I felt safe the entire time, and had lots of fun with my family in the water looking at the marine life! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to experience diving and I would get my certification here if I had more time on my trip. I will definitely come back here one day!

Went out today. I was worried about clarity because of the hurricane, but it was beautiful. Very clear. Caesar was amazing at coordinating. Ricardo was such a good dive master. He was constantly checking to make sure I was ok and pointed out lots of cool creatures. Saw tons of turtles, some lobsters, eels, starfish, a tiny octopus and lots of fish. Eric took great care of my friends who snorkeled. Sandwiches and water was great.

We did our Advanced Open Water training with Banderas. From the start the communication with Cesar was very good- he was always prompt with responding to our questions. Our Instructor Eric was amazing- he was a very good teacher while remaining fun and entertaining, and was always checking in on everyone personally to make sure they were doing well. I would highly recommend using them if diving in the area!

Everyone here was so nice and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend. Diving site was beautiful. Divers were knowledgeable and funny. If you are diving solo, they're not allowed to take pics of you for safety purposes, but but the people we dove with were nice enough to take pictures of me and my family. (We did the same for them). So make friends! We saw manta rays, many types of eels, puffer fish, sea turtles, and much much more. I will be returning.

Where to begin? The check in process was smooth and easy, the dive instructors are friendly, attentive, and have deep knowledge of the local ecosystems, and Cesar puts the whole experience together flawlessly. It would be difficult to imagine diving with another shop upon my return visit. Nos vemos pronto!

I had a great time! Max and Cesar were well organized and professional dive masters. The conditions exceeded my expectations! It wasn’t too cold and we saw turtles, rays, eels, and many fish.

His dive shop is very clean and inviting. You will be outfitted with all the gear you need, they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with sizing and warmth. My friend and I went to PV to get certified in open water, and SO glad we chose Banderas over a larger scuba organization in the area. We were put with Arnauld as our instructor and had the best time. He was very knowledgeable (over 15 years of experience) and so patient and careful. We came as hesitant new divers interacting with polite strangers, and left as friends. This was hands down the best underwater experience I’ve had. If you are looking to get open water certified I would highly suggest this company! You will get one on one time. You will get the time you need to feel comfortable. You will feel confident in your instructor and in yourself. The dive site they take you is called Los Arcos and it is gorgeous, full of sea life, and my favorite from the trip: eagle rays!

I came down to Puerto Vallarta for my AOW Certification, decided to go with Banderas Scuba Republic and I'm glad I did! Ceasar is organized, professional and responsive. He planned 3 days of diving for myself and my friends who was getting his Open Water Cert. Ceasar has an amazing team - Eric and Rojo were my 2 instructors for my AOW. I spent majority of my time with Eric who is not only calm, patient and organized but also fun and very knowledgeable of the dive sites and the sea life. I brought my own gear, they very kindly cleaned and stored it until the end of my trip. Everything as it should be when I came to pick it up. Very grateful for the experience.
