We booked the 4X4 Canopy Adventure excursion through the cruise line to get transportation included from the port to their storefront. It was around a 10-15 minute drive. Once at the storefront we signed multiple waivers and then got on an open air vehicle/truck/bus. From there it was about a 45-50 minute ride to the Canopy River Park itself. It was an interesting ride going through some of the residential areas. After getting dropped off, you could use the restroom, get your provided bandana, and then walk over as a group to where the UTV’s are parked. They are 4 seater Polaris Rangers. You then get a helmet and goggles. We used their bandana for our head for the helmet and brought our own buff for our face against the dust. You do get VERY dusty so we used the goggles on top of our sunglasses. Note that if you book independently you get one vehicle per party. Note that if you book through the cruise line you will have to share with another party. However our group had 47 people for 48 seats and there were too many odd number parties, so our party had to split up unfortunately. They did not want to add another vehicle for us, or re-do the math on the seats to switch some parties of 1 around, they did not want to add a vehicle with the tour leader in it (as they were on ATV’s), and we could ride with them, so we were forced to split up and they had zero empathy for us since we booked through the cruise line – sad. They say that the tour is 90 minutes long, which is true including the stop at the waterfall for 45 minutes. The first leg of the driving is about 20 minutes long, then you spend 45 minutes at the waterfall, then you can switch drivers and the next leg is about 20 minutes long, and then you are done. The first leg has a small suspension bridge. The second leg is the one that has the largest suspension bridge. Therefore only 2 people out of the 4 people get to drive, and if you are sharing with another party, you will need to choose which one of you doesn’t get to drive. The waterfall is a nice picture moment, but other than that we did not need to spend 45 minutes there. Some people swam and jumped off the cliff/rock. They have a ton of photographers placed throughout to capture many photos. After the 40 minutes total of driving we were back to park. Then you had about an hour of free time to spend money at their facility. So the $119/person you pay is for 40 minutes of driving on a UTV with another party. That’s pretty much it. The food at the restaurant is not included, the drinks at the bar are not included, the pool is not included, the photos are not included. The only other thing that was included was a small tequila demo where they were very generous with the pours so be aware of that. Then you can buy the tequila in their store. They did have us fill out an incident report, I assume to cover themselves when I go to complain to the cruise line. They did ask for tips at the end, but all they really did was try to upsell everything and guide us on ATV’s. The facility has so many other types of tours that run out of there and there are other independent people. Therefore we decided to just take the shuttle back to the cruise port. There were other people going to other stops on our shuttle as well so make sure the driver knows where you are going. He did drop us off all the way at the cruise port, or “Barco” in Spanish. Which was nice. But again this was a 50-60 minute drive. Therefore all in this excursion can eat up 4-5 hours of your time, mostly spent driving or spending money on their property in addition to the money you already paid for your excursion. Many of the other cruise passengers ate lunch there (at an added cost) and took the later shuttle back. For the price of the tour they could have included lunch at least. The driving itself was cool jungle scenery and the canyon that you cross on the bridge is cool scenery as well. That is kind of the only positive here. Just be aware of what you are paying for and the other logistical things that you don’t think about before booking this tour.

It was a great experience, we went on an ATV excursion in the jungle. Tour guides were great, scenery was spectacular, and they even dropped us off at our hotel afterwards.

Had an excellent zip lining experience at canopy river. There are 11 lines in total with about 7 going across the valley over the river and the last one dipping you in the river to cool down. Good height, length and speed. The staff were really friendly. Bonus mule ride back up the mountain when finished. The pool looks great but is an extra charge to use.

We had a great time! It was organized and quick to begin the tour. We did the ATV tour followed by tequila tasting and all of if it was an adventure. Definitely worth the time and money as you journey through the jungle, across the worlds longest vehicle suspension bridge and see a waterfall! For sure take advantage of the pick up service they offer and have a blast!

My partner and I did the double ATV and it was one of the highlights from our week long trip! It was our first time, but we felt safe and confident to ride thanks to our friendly & experienced guide. The scenery was beautiful. We ate tacos at the restaurant and it was a great way to end the excursion.

It's pricey, but they make it worth the money you pay. The view from the main "clubhouse" is absolutely stunning. The drive up is also really nice. We took our own vehicle and loved the drive up the mountain. The guides are all very nice, kind and patient. The tour groups were quite large even though it's not high season for tourists, so indefinitely recommend reservations and asking about the group size you will be with. The ATV/razer tour was great, but we were stick behind people who were not confident in their driving ability so we had to go slower than we would have liked. We did ask for permission to pass them and were given permission to do so, therefore the second half of our adventure was much more fun. All in all this place might be a little expensive, but it's very fun and you always feel safe.

We had a blast running the razors through the mountains. So beautiful and the staff were all simply great. Definitely recommend to check them out for a great adventure.

We did the RZR 4X4 canyon crossing. It was awesome and we have not stopped smiling about it! The staff and guides were great and the scenery was spectacular! The river was in spate so we missed out on the opportunity to swim but the view was magnificent. This is not a stately procession along the trail, it is a real thrill ride. The food and drink after was great and reasonably priced.

We had a great day here on the zip lines, rappelling, tubing, mule ride, tequila tasting, lunch and hanging by the beautiful infinity pool. Our guides Freddy and Oswaldo were excellent. I’d definitely come back!

We did the ATV tour although they have several other options such as horseback riding and zip lining. The ATV adventure was such a blast. They take you on a good mix of trails and roads. The staff was super helpful and welcoming and not to mention the place is absolutely stunning! Heraldo was our guide, he was great and very funny. Highly recommend!

We had a great time on the ATV tour. We rented a razor. I would warn though - it’s fast paced and you will get dirty. We are experienced in driving ATVs so I couldn’t imagine handling one through this tour without experience - prepare yourself but it’s definitely something to experience. Beautiful sites and just overall something to check out while visiting Vallarta without a doubt.

Jair blew my expectations of what I thought was going to be a touristy hiking excursion and was knowledgeable of the flora and fauna. If only we had spotted his favorite cow Maria.

Large group outing, food was good, pool and trails, beautiful. Unfortunately, half our people weren't allowed to go to the destination waterfall as there was some kind of confusion with staff or management. Not sure I'd recommend paying in advance and doing a group event there again without a rock solid agreement in very specific writing.

We took the Razr tour of the mountains and loved it! Omar, Hector, Benny, and Juan were excellent guides and were very passionate about what they do. The bar and grill had excellent food as well. I would 100% do this again!

Staff did an amazing job. group moved quickly. We did 8 lines of assorted lengths. there was alot of walking/climbing between zippiness. The most amazing pool at the end of the ziplines. Highly recommend.

Would highly recommend Canopy River for atv and zip line adventures. They have beautiful grounds with lots to explore before or after your adventure. We did the ATV exploration which was fantastic. Lasted about 2 hours and we got to stop at a waterfall. To be expected at a tourist trap everything is overpriced, but this was the first tourist trap where I felt like the prices were somewhat justified by the quality. Great for families.

100% this must be a place to visit and do a tour! Oh my, the staff are exceptional, facilities are incredible. We did a zip line as part of another company atv tour we loved it so much we came back the next day and did the river expedition. So much fun, we did zip line, rappelling, zip line into river, float down river, tequila tasting and we had an incredible lunch. Highly recommend this to anyone!

Well organized and fun. Tour guides (Alfonso, Tony and Loonie) were knowledgeable and entertaining. Pleasant, though bumpy, commute to the location. Beautiful views from the restaurant and occasionally impressive views from the zip lines - some of which are right over the river, diving into the canopy or skimming you over the river (or landing you in it).

Like all Tours I definitely believe you get what you pay for. And in the sense of Canopy River Park, you literally are getting everything you’re paying for. Which in many ways can be a good thing and a bad thing. In terms of the tour itself, it was OK. We did the ATV tour across the bridge and the view was amazing! Canopy River Park boasts that the bridge is the longest hanging vehicle bridge in the world. And no though there’s much speculation as to whether that is true or not it is definitely a view to die for in Puerto Vallarta. However, when doing tours with a variance of people with experience it kind of sucks the life out of it. Having experience with ATVs, including having one living in Puerto Escondido, it gets a little boring when you stay third gear. At times when I’ve tried putting a bit more adrenaline into the experience, my tour guide basically threatened that I keep it under control. Being upset for the remainder of the tour. additionally, drones are not allowed, which on a tour I understand, but not in the entire park? Again, it was some thing that I was told I can “pay for in advance.“ And that’s the downside of getting what you pay for - everything has a dollar amount. In order to go to the pool area where one of the better view point is, you have to pay 300 pesos per person. For the photo package it is 1600 pesos for the total package, or 400 pesos each picture. Which isn’t even a digital picture, it’s a print out. When I asked the vendor if he lets me take a picture by the pool I’ll buy the entire digital package. Now this guy could stop me and told me I wasn’t allowed to go by the pool area but was not allowed to tell me that it’s OK if I buy a whole package. Plus, it’s kind of funny that for an adventure tour accommodates to probably 50% of Americans or English speakers, he didn’t speak much english. Prices are not negotiable but your time is. What a surprise. In terms of the food, we ordered our appetizers and our main course is about an hour and a half before our return trip back was scheduled. We did not get our appetizers until 30 minutes before the bus left, and five minutes after our scheduled departure time. In short, go for the photos, go for the ATV experience, and go for the bridge, but would I recommend it to my friends to go back ever again. No.

I had an amazing time doing the Jorullo Bridge ATV Tour. The ATV starts out pretty chill and progressively gets more intense as you traverse down the dusty mountain with occasional mud paths. Expect to get down and dirty! The pacing of the tour is just right and I was pleased that it didn't feel rushed. It's worth getting those photos. I just wished for the amount of money I paid, I should have gotten more photos.

Excellent inexpensive buffet. It has such a large variety of delicious dishes. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing. High in the mountains away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Puerto Vallarta. The hanging bridge is a beautiful spot for photos. Highly recommend to visit. They have Miriachi bands during the weekends. Horse shows a must to experience.

The three of us had a great Javier and Rafael helped us every step. Javier proposed to my niece and are getting married next week I think. We rode horses on the way back. I had slowpoke and was the leader of trail of course back up to the lodge. The last zip we got our butts wet as we skimmed the river to end our wonderful adventure with a dip in their glorious infinity pool in the mountains. We definitely will visit maybe Javier will be family by then and we'll a get special tour.

Zipline was incredible-our staff (Alex and his team) took excellent care of our party of 16. Loved the mule ride, and then the ATV ride. The whole day was fantastic. Food is very good and reasonably priced. We got the photo package (Gustavo and his team) and have to say that we were amazed at how good they came out. We spent the evening watching the slide show of over 400 photos. A perfect day!

Zipline is a pretty well-oiled machine. Friendly, helpful staff, surprises, beautiful views. My only criticism is I thought it was a little bit strange that they stranded us here at the restaurant for an hour while waiting for the bus, would have preferred to leave immediately. Also, pool is currently closed.

Razr tour on the hill trails. great experience! tons of fun. highly recommended. stopped in trail for a refreshment break of cool brews and colas. walked the bridge shown. lunch break was about average

The ATV excursion was both fun and organized! The trail was exciting and had a couple interactive stops (one at a waterfall, and the other at a bar). We ended the tour at a restaurant after driving over a bridge. Our lunch was not included with our tour, but there was a complimentary tequila tasting that was amazing! If anything, I wish the trail were longer and/or there was an open space for us to test out their speed.

Prepare to get wet! A great experience touring through the jungle. You get to drive or ride razors and ATVs through dust, mud and across the longest suspension bridge in the world! You have the opportunity to cool down and jump off a cliff and into the the pool under the waterfall. We also went zip lining across beautiful scenery all throughout the jungle. And finish the experience with a short mile ride back up the hill. You do not want to miss the experience! The employees were also very fun and helpful!
