Was so happy to find a yoga studio in the heart of Puerto Vallarta - felt like home! Props to Willis for creating a special place for visitors and locals alike to get their yogi fix. Also, thank you for sharing Luna, I saw her as the studio's fur baby mascot spreading love and natural demos of downward / upward dog. Flying heart has an easy drop in rate, good class schedule, and the website interface was user friendly. Note that there are no class reservations, all walk-in and first-come-first serve. I'd say about 20 people were in the 2 classes I attended and there's room for more. Took an all levels Vinyasa flow, they spoke English, played eclectic music, and had playful and challenging options. They are located on the top floor above a Pharmacia, look for the Pink door on street level below the discovery center sign. A giant street art lizard is painted on the side of the building. Great little walk up coffee shop "Ono" across the street too for a hit of caffeine after class. I wish this studio all the best of luck and positive vibes for success, I shall spread the word!

The location is perfect no matter where are are in Zona Romantica - it’s easy to get to - it’s the perfect space to begin your day - the shala will wrap you in joy and Willis will help you find your center - a must do no matter your yoga experience - you might even be lucky enough to get a kiss from Luna!

Had the absolute LUXURY of spending a month going to this gem of a studio. Willis is amazing (so is Luna)!!! The vibe is more than I could have hoped for. FHY is reason alone to return to PV! I will definitely be back and hope to go to one of the retreats in the near future. Do not hesitate to join this studio for as long as you can. My mom and I had a fantastic time doing yoga at Flying Heart. We stuck to yin yoga due to mom's back issues. The yoga studio was super relaxing and Willis was a great instructor. Lots of accommodations if needed. The yoga studio is located in a cool part of town with cute shops and local venues. Lots to explore after class. Highly recommend. We will be dropping in for a few classes anytime we are in PV

Willis is incredibly knowledgeable about anatomy and kinesiology and his sequences are beautifully choreographed. The Katonah yoga was especially unique and illuminating and great for all levels. I definitely recommend coming to Flying Heart Yoga and learning more about your body through this practice!

Best yoga classes in PV (even local private instructors agree!). It's approachable, I felt completely welcome by studio/owner. Vinyasa - Challenging but "it's your practice" tone. Some classes have sound healing incorporated like yin / restore. Cash only rn. The space stays cool/lovely. 3rd floor walk up. Yes to restrooms, reserve your spot online or drop in, cubbies for your things, and they provide clean, high-end mats and all top quality props. If you have a background, I highly recommend vinyasa w Willis.

This place doesn't even have one not 5 star review and I can see why. It's a beautiful space with awesome classes. We booked a private class with a group of 12 friends and he catered it to just our needs. Thanks flying heart !!!

I have been doing yoga regularly to better my physical, mental and spiritual well being for 5+ years now. Once in a while you experience consistency within a studio and practice that stands out in a multitude of positive ways. Flying Heart Yoga offers a strong education based yoga experience for beginners to experts. The instructors are friendly and helpful. The energy is peaceful and tranquil. I will be going back to this studio for a long time to come.

This is a magical and sacred space. I did both a teacher training here as well as a class with Willis. You feel every inch of Willis’ love and dedication to yoga and even more importantly to his community. I had the pleasure of attending 2, very different, classes while I was in PV this week. The studio itself is a bright and airy space that feels like someone’s heart has been poured into making it an expansive and welcoming space. Willis, the owner, (I hope that is his name 😊) was there both times and makes all his students feel comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend this studio to anyone who has a chance to check it out. Also, the lavender scented eye pillows are divine ❤️

Flying Heart Yoga is absolutely lovely. Willis is welcoming and leads an intentional and challenging practice with great awareness and focus on those in the room. What a great way to start my day on my solo trips in PV. I also took part in an evening cacao ceremony which was wonderful. I can't wait to return. How lucky PV is to have such a special place.

His classes are led with purpose, compassion, breath, intention, and humour :). Willis inspires curiosity, acceptance, and offers a safe space to explore your own practice. The studio itself is very warm and inviting. It is filled with natural light, amazing props, inclusive energy, and the sweetest little yoga puppy named Luna. The location is incredibly ideal if you are staying in PV. Also, the price point is super reasonable. I found this studio half way through my stay in PV and only wish I had found it sooner. I will absolutely return to this special spot on my next stay. **Special shout out to the Katonah Class I did with Willis. If you haven't tried this practice yet, I highly recommend. Fun with props!! :)

I had privilege of visiting this beautiful space three times during my recent trip to Vallarta. Chakradance with Marcella, Taoist Yoga with Maria, Yin & Sound with Sam and Jimmy. Wow! 🤩💕 All of the instructors were welcoming, knowledgeable and supportive. Willis is awesome! Highly recommended!

Willis is simply a master at holding space and safely guiding you on you mat. I simply feel free! And elevated! I truly leave it all on the matt in Willis classes because he just has a way challenging you to explore your boundaries of the physical and emotional bodies. Flying Heart Yoga is the perfect name for this space as it is where my heart soars. I’m a picky yogi but all the classes offered in this beautiful space are AWESOME. I was introduced to katonah yoga which has changed the way I look at my practice. If you are living in Vallarta or just passing through, this is the spot to get your practice on! The owner is hands down my favorite yoga teacher in the world but all the teachers are incredible
