This place is a healthier option, but still super tasty. If you’re from Vancouver it’s like a super cute healthy cafe. It has smoothies, omelettes, coffee, breakfast tacos, smoothie bowls.. so on. They have really good iced coffees too! I’m definitely going back before I leave Puerto Vallarta!

I really liked this restaurant, I had a great experience here. I chose this restaurant because it was a healthy option. Good looking salad bowls. The food was fresh and we were served quickly. The staff was great. The outdoor seating was a huge plus seeing the weather was beautiful. There is also a huge door so even sitting inside you can have an open air type dining experience.

One of the best vegan friendly restaurants in the area. The juices are freshly squeezed and the meals are to die for. I personally recommend either the omelette or the chilaquiles. The flavors compliment each other so well and the texture is delicious

Our favorite place for breakfast/lunch so far here! We’ve been three times. The wraps, breakfast tacos, and coffees are all amazing. The mono loco smoothie with cold brew is also one of my favorites. Would recommend.

Really amazing breakfast and brunch cafe near Malecon. We visited this cafe twice and had an amazing experience. They use fresh ingredients and a great combination of vegetables for the dishes. We would recommend chilaquiles with eggs as a must dish to try.

My favorite breakfast place by El Malecon. I can’t stop thinking about the bread! You gotta try the mono loco 😋🤩 Lots of healthy options. The food is delish, fruits and veggies are fresh, staff is cordial and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. I’ll definitely when I’m in PV again. ❤️

Wow!!! Service: the two servers took care of us each time we came in to eat. I think three or four in total. Food: the food is fresh and delicious. I had the same smoothie every visit. The chilaquiles looks beautiful and tastes very good! Cálmate Café is a go to when in town. Day 3 we went to another spot that did not satisfy us. So we came for a late lunch that day. When I return I will find my way back to this cafe for breakfast everyday. Really great job!!!

Trekked here after reading online that it was the best iced matcha people had tried. Well, I would agree that it was one of the best iced matchas I've had. You will want to order it sweetened though. Food looked good too although didn't have any when we went. Update from 2024: still delicious :)

SO DELICIOUS. I Got the veggie omelette and pan de la Tia , their house made gluten free bread with marmalada. My boyfriend got the Nana bowl and yogurt/granola. Love their soy lattes too. The ladies that work here are really sweet and friendly. The salted watermelon balls they bring to you are excellent and a really nice touch. Great place.

The food was good overall, but the toast was too crispy and almost like a crouton. 😅 The presentation was gorgeous for everything. Service was good, but the waitresses didn't understand much English, so if you don't speak Spanish, you'll need to use a translator app. Pretty good prices, slightly expensive, but not unreasonable.

Great breakfast place. Great friendly service. Tons of gluten free and vegetarian oprions - even some good vegan items. The coffee is very good. Can recommend the oatmeal, gluten free bread (pan de la tia), chilaquiles with eggs, latte, americano.or the yogurt and granola

Epic fresh, yummy cafe. Lots of options from french toast to chilaquiles to açaí bowls or veggie bowls. All of it looked amazing. Incredible service: friendly, quick, and nice vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely will be back and highly recommend.

The overall atmosphere is calming. The attention to detail of each ingredient on your plate is impressive. The combination of items on your plate makes everything more delicious. This is by far one of the best restaurants in Puerto Vallarta for breakfast or lunch. I got green juice, fresh fruit with yogurt and granola, and veggie omelette. My fiancé got coffee, eggs with bacon and avocado. Everything was amazing.

Loved this place!! One of the best meals in Vallarta. The women who work here are so friendly and attentive. The juice was perfect. The bowl I had was amazing, and it came with two sauces. Will be back.

Came around 11am on a Thursday. The best breakfast I have had in years. Extremely professional staff, exquisite presentation and super fresh and PERFECTLY cooked food. I had the bacon cheese mushroom omelette and my Wife the French Toast. I drank a smoothie and my wife fresh orange juice. Both drinks were exquisite. We both agree breakfast was perfect in every way. Going again tomorrow and the day after. Pricing was very reasonable.

Walked in for breakfast and seated immediately. Chilaquiles to die for- the sauce! Omelets on point. Nice extras like pickled jalapeños and carrots, salsa and a creamy chili sauce. Vegan options like soy milk for your coffee which was also nice. Great food and presentation. Excellent service. Nora took great care of us. Manuel the owner has a great crew and a solid cafe. Highly recommended. Been coming here daily and it’s been great every time.

OMG! I am in love with the Vegan options at Cálmate. I tried the vegan chilaquiles, both green and red sauce and it’s the bomb diggity! The red sauce was my favorite (green is spicier). The vegan wrap was delicious! The vegan frappe, coffee, and juices were fantastic! I really fell in love with the food and the ambiance. The owner and staff are truly friendly and proceeded great service. Please go here and try it yourself. Cash only so make sure you have cash. A Manuel, gracias por una excelente experiencia. ¡delicioso!

Cash only. A spectacular choice for vegans, vegatarians and those just in need of something healthy. There's an abundance of affordable smoothies, bowls, omelettes and wraps, and they all offer something everyone can easily enjoy. There's plenty of hot and cold drinks too. My omellette rojas poblanos could have easily been $350+ MXN but it was under $200 MXN. Gorgeous presentation for something that could've been way more expensive. The taste was absolutely astounding. Super friendly service too. Mom & I loved our first visit and will be back.

Our group stumbled into this cafe for lunch after a fun hike and we were all blown away with how delicious, fresh, and heathy everything we ordered turned out!! Complete gem in the Cinco colonia and they have great vegan and vegetarian friendly options. I loved my veggie wrap with sweet potatoes and the green smoothie. The service was kind and attentive. Colorful and lively ambiance. I can't wait to come back to try the coffee and baked goods!

Fantastic spot in 5 de Diciembre for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. There are plenty of vegetarian options and pretty large portions as well. Note that they are CASH ONLY. Food - I ordered the nexi. Very good! Drinks - Good coffee (I've had the cafe latte with soy milk), and there are many more drinks I'm looking to come back to try. Alternative milk: • Almond • Coconut • Oatmilk. • Soy I brought my laptop here to work. Outlets are available, and the wifi is strong. I worked here for about 2 hours in their AC.

We can across this place for breakfast, it was walking distance from the hotel we were staying at. The French toast breakfast, americano and their fresh juices were amazing and their prices were too. Note this is a cash only place but they take pesos and US dollars at the exchange rate listed at the counter.

The best avocado toast ever!! Great atmosphere, friendly service, and well priced. I can't wait to go back! *Edit. Came back to PV and had the avocado toast again 😂 just as amazing as the first time. Also tried their vegetarian breakfast wrap which was also very good!

This place is open again after a short 1 month upgrade but their still serving the same fresh, delicious food and drinks! Smoothies, matcha, tea, kombucha, coffee, juices, wraps, bowls, omelets, chilaquiles, and of course tacos! They cater to GF & Vegan/vegetarians but also serve chicken, tofu, & tuna. Must try the chilaquiles & Thai bowl with fresh marinated tuna.

Been here twice and food was great both times. My family of four loved our foods and the sweet potato options were amazing. I got the tacos and my brother got the wrap we both loved them. 100 percent recommend if u want a good healthy brunch!! The pickled Jalapeños with garlic pieces they serve made the dishes even better. They also served us little watermelon balls as a little pre eating appetizer so cute!!
