…the felicity of cheap cerveza and a view. There isn’t a single other, valid excuse for the 4 plus reviews on this travesty. Yes, you can see the ocean. Yes they have chairs. And, yes, they will serve you food. Eventually. End of positive superlatives. This is a pit. The food is low grade, expensive, and the service is non-existent. And before you pull out your trusty excuse kit, I’m local. And so is my partner. This was a recommendation gone awry. Do yourself a favour, don’t.

Service was excellent, Diego was awesome. Lasagna was heavy on the layers with not much in between. Taste was spot on. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices. Beef Carpaccio was mouth watering.

This restaurant was a great find for us. Right there across from the Malecon. Great food and wonderful views. The mussels was good. And so was the penne with salmon. Great sauce too! We sit at the window looking out to Malecon. What a way to spend time eating and enjoying our time in Puerto Vallarta.

You can’t beat the homemade, authentic Italian recipes and ambiance of La Posta. A beautiful view of the malecón and Bahía de Banderas mesmerizes as you dine. Unlike most restaurants in the area, they keep the sliding glass doors closed and the air conditioning ice cold in the summer (especially important if you’re eating a hot meal). The penne ragu is unbelievably good (the robust meat sauce is made with a red wine reduction). Prices are very reasonable (about $13 USD for the Penne Ragu even with a weak dollar). The staff is very attentive and remember you when you visit again. I always visit La Posta when visiting Pto Vta.

Beautiful and elegant restaurant. Great location. Friendly staff. The only problem we had was that the food was extremely salty.

Glass of house red wine, was good. Ordered the ravioli was above average for Italian places I've been to in Mexico. Competent staff. Priced for tourists.

Decent food. We had salads and a couple vegetarian dishes. The salads were tasty. The cheesy ravioli dish...maybe would give that one a 3/5 rating...kinda bland. The pizza was respectable...not great but good. Excellent service. You can pay in dollars, but the rate offered wasn't great so we paid in pesos.

Italian restaurant nicely located across the boardwalk the atmosphere is very nice and pleasant and nice soft music the food, it’s outstanding. The mussels Sicilian style was good and the whole fish was excellent. Finished with a black sambucca was great!

We had the antipasto plate. And several pasta dishes. They were nice enough to sit us right by the window so we could see the malecon and the pride parade go by. The food was very good and the service was also very good.

2 for 1 margs are terrible. No booze. Disgustingly sweet! The manager needs to teach the youngsters how to make a proper margarita. We are in Mexico after all! Food was pretty good. Slow service. Would go back again, but for dinner and wine.

Great dinner had. Pizza and pasta. They made my wife pepper cheese pasta, an off menu item. Service was fabulous, food is excellent. Thanks so much for the great service. The view of the malecon is very nice.

Tourists, BE AWARE of this restaurant! Not coming back again. 1. We gave a very good tip to the server, but he came back and asked for even more tip, and said "This is how things are in Vallarta, so get used to it" 2. They charged an additional tax to the total amount which in Mexico is NOT LEGAL. All food on the menu includes the tax already. If a hamburger says 100 pesos, you pay 100 pesos + tip. Too bad that we have to face this type of scam. I hope that the administration will see this review and act.

We went here often on our vacation. The mushroom pizza and lasagna were favorites. Filling and decently priced. Good service and clean washroom.

The starter board (typical meats and variety of cheeses) were very nicely prepared and presented but came more than 20 minutes after our drinks. Google maps told us the restaurant was less busy than usual. There were more staff than customers so it was hard to understand the slow service. All the staff was very cordial and friendly. We will highly recommend this restaurant. Maybe just an off night for us.

Amazing food. Best food we had while on our trip. Decent prices compared to other restaurants in the boardwalk area. Wonderful waiters, very friendly staff. Definitely worth eating here

Restaurant staff were kind and courteous, however the service was extremely slow (restaurant was empty). Ordered a margarita pizza $180 Peso (Bianco style- no meat) was over charged for the amount for their "Domanti" $240 Peso..t's the principle not the amount.that bugs me. When mentioned to the waiter, he said it was too late, he'd already punched in the order. Took it to go, pizza takeaway in a styrofoam box and plastic bag should be a crime. The pizza received was dough (no sauce) with arugula and shaved parmesan, they forgot the mozzarella cheese 😒 ..

Great service, location and view! But food… disappointing :( Went there because of reviews and we were very hungry. Unfortunately, the only tasty item was their in-house made bread. I believe pizza is one of the things you can never go wrong with and it’s hard to make it taste bad. Not sure if it was the crust or the sauce but I won’t recommend it… mussels were smelly and sauce - so basic… and gelato tastes artificially flavored, watery instead of creamy…

For our last night in Mexico, we decided to go for Italian. We've been in Mexico for 2 months, have eaten out numerous times at beach side restaurants, street pop-up's, etc. Never had a bad meal until last night. It was terrible. Would not recommend & will not go back. (The staff were great though)

So kind. The salads and starters all tasted great. Ordered a variety of brick oven pizza and homemade pasta. Wonderful experience and delicious food

Pizza was delicious and enough for two people. Mixed drinks were great. Service was excellent with drink recommendations and seating changes to improve our experience. Sit up top for a wonderful view.

The food is amazing. I had a really good pizza with fresh ingredients. The reason I’m not givin them 5 stars is because of the waiters, they forget to bring you simple stuff like napkins.

We are VERY picky and leave most restaurants disappointed. In this case, we're glad we went in. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the prices were good when compared to other extremely overpriced options in the vicinity.

Excellent staff and perfect location. Nice to find somewhere with AC right in the center of the Malecon, especially on hot days. The pizza is good, but not exceptional. The bruschetta is exceptional, and the filet steak is also very good. I definitely recommend the bruschetta with salmon, cheese, and grilled vegetables. You won't be disappointed.

I just had to do a review of this restaurant I had one of their pizzas very reasonably priced at $219 pesos and it was the most delicious pizza I have ever had in my life! I've had pizza all over the world including Italy and you can't beat their pizzas here they're excellent!
