As a Canadian here it is good to have a bank to trust. If you are a scotia bank person they are affiliated by name only so just make sure you have your account card with you and id. There hours are not the same as home but everyone is friendly and helpful. HINT: the ATM is 24 hours

Worst bank I have ever dealt with. I used the ATM and it took my card on a Sunday. I walked over on Monday morning to try and get my card back. They told me my card was damaged and they wouldn’t give it back. The tellers were very rude and the manager was even worse. They basically stole my visa debit card and even though it’s damaged someone could still use it. I had to call Scotiabank in Canada and they put a 0 credit on my card so that way no one can use it. My suggestion is stay away from this bank and don’t use there ATM

Extremely poor customer service with very long waiting times

Hands down the worst bank of all time. They canceled my business CC terminal for 2 years and offered no support. The Customer service is nasty. If you are an American DO NOT USE THIS BANK. I do a lot of business with you guys and have never been treated with respect. I have no contact to talk to at the bank and am tortured every time I call the 800 number. Your customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Today I start the process of switching banks.
