When making the reservation, I thought it was an apartment in the Amfiteatar hotel, which is located near the venue of the event I was supposed to attend in Pula. But actually, upon arrival at the Amfiteatar Hotel, I was directed to a remote apartment located 20 minutes' walk from the hotel. It is a private apartment in poor condition and has nothing in common with the hotel as shown on its website. Also, the apartment is located on the second floor of a private building with an elevator that is not in operation. In the morning it was not possible to sleep or enjoy breakfast due to the excessive noise from the construction work that started early in the morning. All the valuable information that was published by the property owner as the reply to my review should be published in advance i.e. should be clearly communicated when advertising accommodation.

Beware of scam! Fake advertised central position of the apartments without prior notice The only reason why we booked the apartment is it’s central location right next to the Arena as it was an one night stay as we had to catch an early bus next day. Little we knew that during the check-in the receptionist gave us an address and a contact person to call saying the accommodation is just 10 min away which turned out to be 20 min walk with suitcases in summer heat. The apartment was located next to busy main road outside city center in random building block, which has nothing to do with the place we booked. After many calls back and forth with receptionist , they had an audacity to claim the different location was listed on booking which definitely wasn’t and not even apologizing and admitting the listing was fake and misleading. At the end they offered to cancel the accommodation without providing alternatives, ( at 5 pm) or to cover the taxi costs in the morning to catch the early bus . The interior of apartment was fine but spare yourself a hassle especially if you want central located accommodation and avoid this. After we complained, they confirmed that it’s their common practice that the real address is not listed as “ booking website does not let them post two addresses “ so after you book the apartment they slip the information about the real location in a long greeting message with all information which is easy to oversee without pointing out how far is it from the real location but after you have paid. So you are basically paying for the cat in a sack without knowing it. After you leave a review they try to cover it up saying they sent a message prior your arrival and it’s your fault you haven’t checked the location although the main listing doesn’t provide real information or note that apartments are far away from center, and not in the heart of Pula. Long story short, lots of hassle, skip it…

I asked them for the offer they sent me and they said I have 3 days to confirm. The next day at 13:34 they send me an email saying that I have until 15:00 to confirm or cancel my reservation. Since I didn't have a signal, I didn't see the email until 15:10 when I replied to them on what they wrote to me that the apartment was no longer available. Extremely unprofessional!

Stayed here for a night as had an early flight from Pula the next day. They kindly upgraded me from a single to a double. The room was on the third floor, it was large, clean and had cable tv. I was leaving 4am and the hotel offered me breakfast to go and sorted a taxi for me. The night porter was very friendly and made me coffee while I waited for the taxi. Hotel is in a good location, easy to walk into the old town and visit some of the historic sites in Pula. Would recommend this as a place to stay.

We've been there only at the restaurant. We have waited for the burgers to be ready more than 40 minutes and they weren't so tasty or big enough

Nice people, crew is always helpful! The breakfast is good, you are in the middle of pula and u can walk to every place by foot. Fully recommend this hotel.

The location was great. Food was delicious. Staff was efficient and helpful. We had a great stay there. It’s very close ( walking distance) to all the amazing historical sites in Pula.

Excellent hotel that is, as the name suggest, next to the famous large Amfitheater of Pula. The old town with the many interesting Roman sites is very close too, only a ten minute walk. The room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet sufficient. There is free private parking next to the hotel but when that's full a large paid parking area is just in front of the hotel. Ignore Googles description of "a view of the Mediterranean from the hotel" as it would be the Adriatic and cannot be seen

Best location. Right next to Pula Arena one of the best preserved Roman Amphitheatre in Europe. Sumptuous delicious breakfast. Cozy comfortable room. Super friendly manager and staff.

Loved this hotel! It was a fantastic location and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good too. But the best thing was the staff - they were incredibly helpful and kind. I would definitely stay here again!

We waited 1 hour for two tortillas… I've never eaten worse tortillas... they have tastier ones even at McDonald's… never ever!!!! Fuj…

The rooms weren't too bad, its close to the marina where they do boat tours. The staff are absolutely brilliant and helpful.the breakfast let it down abit but all in all it was good. Would stay here again

Impeccable service - clean rooms, brilliant location, and just the most helpful staff! Reception staff was incredibly attentive to our requests about leaving early, we got great packed breakfast etc. Also brilliant recommendations about what to do in town. Highly recommended!

Went there for dinner… just don‘t! Food was tasteless and overpriced, there where some dead flies next to our table. Ambient was also really bad

Small hotel in the center of the city. Parking place is also small but pretty convinient. The room is also small and non renovated. Air conditioner is awesome. The staff was very friendly. We really were happily surprised when we have taken their vegan dishes in the dinner: tasty, big dishes. But the breakfast wasn't for vegan at all.

Best location in Pula, near everything. Next door to magnificent Pula Arena. Rooms are large and modern. Espresso coffee machine in rooms. Great breakfast with large dining area. Restaurant has the world-renowned chef Deniz - must try when in Pula. Nice terrace. Friendly and prompt service.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff

Disappointed in basically everything, rooms far gloomier than they appear on photo, staff uneducated and barely professional, breakfast way too modest, but the biggest minus was dinner. We waited for more than an hour after order, starved and then got the tiniest portions. The best part - they brought us starters, represented them as a gift (we didnt order them) then CHARGED IT without our knowledge. They just appeared on our bill. 😂 Awesome

We ordered 3 beefsteaks and 2 were cooked wrong. One was ordered well done, it came medium rare. The second should be medium rare and it came medium. Service was not asking if everything is correct and since we are in a hurry, we couldn't even say something. One order came wrong. We ordered Pommes-frites instead of vegetables for the kid and got the vegetables. Such a shame. Edit after kitchen response: We did NOT get the French fries and there was 1 medium rare and 1 well done as well as my medium rare which was medium. I cook as a hobby and know how to make my steaks and know when something is not bloody anymore :) As a proof you have my steak which was not medium rare. :) Because of the unsatisfactory response I lowered my rating to 2 stars. I am sorry but the steaks weren't correctly cooked. Thanks for the response.
