Since
I
was
going
on
a
trip
to
Asia,
I
made
an
appointment
for
advice
about
travel
vaccinations
a
few
months
before
the
start
of
the
trip.
The
Dr.
prescribed
some
vaccinations,
so
far
everything
went
well.
A
few
weeks
before
the
start
of
my
trip,
I
saw
on
the
Foreign
Office
website
that
I
was
missing
an
important
vaccination
for
my
trip
and
immediately
made
another
appointment.
The
doctor
said
that
the
vaccination
would
definitely
make
sense
for
my
trip.
However,
since
he
had
forgotten
to
recommend
the
vaccination
to
me
at
the
first
appointment,
everything
had
to
happen
quickly.
I
got
the
first
vaccination
straight
away
and
I
was
supposed
to
get
the
second
one
a
few
days
before
my
departure
(the
doctor
knew
the
departure
date
and
there
were
only
about
3
weeks
until
the
trip).
As
always,
the
doctor
kept
the
second
vaccination
dose
in
his
practice
and
said
I
could
simply
come
for
the
second
vaccination
without
an
appointment.
Today,
as
agreed,
I
am
standing
in
front
of
the
practice
a
few
days
before
departure
and
it
is
closed
for
3
weeks.
The
vaccination
dose
is
in
the
locked
practice
and
no
one
was
able
to
tell
me
(about
2
weeks
ago)
that
the
practice
was
closed
for
3
weeks
during
the
period
in
which
the
second
vaccination
appointment
was
arranged?
Conclusion:
I
have
to
pay
the
expensive
vaccination
dose
a
second
time,
which
is
not
covered
by
my
health
insurance.
