This is a public building now, so it's free to visit and explore. The tower is really cool, and offers great views of Bingen and the vineyards of Rude shim across the river. Must see if you're in this Rhine River valley area.

Make sure to walk all the way up to the top. I mean ALL the way! There is a little wooden platform on the top floor and it gets you over the walls for even better views. Beautiful 360° views of the surrounding Rhine valley.

There is a lot of construction right now and it seemed like much was closed, but the open areas were nice. There are spectacular views from multiple sides, and there is a nice open playground. The restaurant on the grounds also looked open, and had very nice outdoor dining looking over the city and the Rhine river.

Its a nice place to visit and walk around the main building. The place has a parking lot. You can see almost the whole town from this place.

One of my fav places in Bingen and mostly because of the community garden where I was able to plant potatoes. This is an amazing place if you want just to sit down and relax, walk around or have an event. You can get to the top of the tower and of course you can see the pearl of the Rhein valley, my favorite Bingen from the top of the hill ❤️❤️❤️

It is the Bingen civil administration centre. The far reaching views are fantastic. Well worth having stroll to the top. The tower can be accessed by stairs to the top if you're fit enough .

Visible from many parts of the city, castle Klopp is dominating the panorama of Bingen! Unfortunately not accessible for visitors as this place serves as Bingen administrative center, however the beautiful small yard provides a very cozy place for relaxation. The castle tower is open to the public, free of charge and provides a 360 degree view of Bingen and confluence or Naha and Rhine rivers. Boards with information are located on the last floor right under the roof, however available only in German. There are two ways to reach the castle - walking from the parking lot, conveniently located only 2 minutes from the castle, or walking from down the city which takes a bit of physical activity as there are several staircases and platforms to pass. It is a nice walk, especially thanks to the water features located at the start of the staircase, however there are no great views of the city (the best views are from the top of the tower). There is a restaurant located at the premises of the castle with nice outdoor seating offering views to Bingen and vineyards opposite the Rhine river. Playground with slides for kids and a beautiful park surrounds the northwestern corner of the castle. Visited in August 2022.

Beautiful day at Bingen, Germany. 76 degree and a gourgous walk a long the Rhine river. Saw a castle in the middle of town and soaked in the founder of it all on the 1st day of vacation!
