One of the famous Misal spots in Pune. But sadly disappointing for me. You can get three types of Misal Here, Tikkhat (Very Spicy) , Medium (Spicy), and Light spicy. I ordered medium, they just added little pinch of Sugar at the bottom and some butter. No parking available. And Handwash located outside the main door is not a good idea.

Expected better given the hype. Do not try the super spicy one. One cannot possibly eat it. The normal misal is nice.

Well I opted for the spicier so can't complain it was spicy😅 Very yumm Misal Pav. Recommended! Wish there was AC here given the heat and the spciy food would mean you would be sweating crazy😄

As it is famous place for Missal in Pune, I had a lot of expectations from this place. But unfortunately, I am a bit disappointed. I must say that the service provided is good and there are 3 types of Missal based on the level of spiciness i.e. Tikkhat, Medium and Light Spicy Missal at Rs. 80/-. The taste of Missal was good and the farsaan served was fresh but the buttermilk was just watery, and the curd used in it was not fresh. What could be improvised? 1) Buttermilk should be improvised by using fresh curd and reduce water. 2) The quantity of potato used in Missal should be reduced. 3) Tissues should be provided on the table itself. Advice for users - Please carry your water bottle as they charge for water as well.

A simple no-frills restaurant that serves only misal in its pure true form and no fancy modernisation. In fact, one of the best places to have misal in Pune. Try the spiciest misal only if you are genuinely immune to spicy food. Ambiance: It's a ground plus one restaurant with ample space and comfortable seating. Food: Excellent. They have four varieties of misal as of 2023 - light, medium, spicy, and only matki. There are also options for Jain and Cheese Misal. The light, medium, and spicy are the levels of spiciness. Light is good for people who cannot handle spiciness at all. Medium is moderately spicy but the spicy version is a challenge in itself that few can complete. Your misal will be adorned with farsan beforehand but you can always ask for more which is chargeable. Mattha is a form of buttermilk or chhas for those who would want to balance the spiciness. Takeaway facility is available.; Parking: There are parking spaces in the building that are chargeable. Otherwise, you can take a risk to park on the road.

The misal taste was good. They have a very friendly staff. You can choose among low, medium and spicy misals. Also, you can take away the farsan that they use. The prices are as mentioned in the menu. My suggestion is to also order curd/buttermilk to have it with the misal to tone down the spice. The washroom is not very well maintained. Also, the outlet is a little shabby. It is located at Dhole Patil road, next to Vohuman cafe and is easily accessible from Platform 6 of Pune railway station (about 2-3 mins drive).

Really Disappointing..... one of the famous misal in pune people say but they didn't even have Mataki in misal only farsan and rassa ...i mean that's not Misal ...not that Tastey...Comes in Light misal , medium tikhat misal and tikhat misal....and don't even ask about Pav ...I think they should improve these things.

Many misal spots tried out, out of which this looks quite organized. They have sorted out the menu with light, medium and very spicy ones. We can order a dry misal also which isn't available in other places. The farsan is fresh and along with farsan they drop a piece or two smashed aloo too. The butter milk didn't taste at all good and was too light. We complained about it but the owner was fine like everyone is having it.

Why the hype!!!!! Had heard a lot about katakirr misal, the so called popular chain of misal outlets. So decided to try. Was actually excited that they had light, medium and spicy variations. The packing looked great! But katakirr you lost me out at no mataki! Why replace the mataki with a humble potato? Well I was fine to still try, but the gravy has a peculiar masala after taste, that does not fit my palette! To everyone who goes all ‘katakirr is the best’, buddy you didn’t try misals in small spaces around the highways! You can take the mataki out of the misal, but then is it even a misal?

Missal tastes ok ok . so please don’t have high expectations . It’s a franchisee and is operated by staff who are under staffed in numbers people were made to wait even though there was a upstate dining in place . So you will have people staring at each bite you take so as to when would you eat and get out so they can take the seat 5 tables were operate. Food handling hygiene too is questionable. Now for the biggest downside there is a washroom and they have kept locked . A lady and her daughter asked if they can use it and the response was it’s not allowed . I think it’s due the cleaning overheads cost but this is compromising the bare minimum requirement. Then those 2 went out searching a washroom sad sight . So as there were people staring me to eat fast I wrapped up my food in 7 minutes and let then sit :).

I had one medium misal and one tikhat misal, and let me tell you the tikhat misal is really really tikhat (spicy). The taste is good. Just the place is a little bit smallAnd keep in mind that if you want matki misal so that is not available in medium or tikhat, that is a normal one. The medium tikhat has potato and farsan in it. Just the problem is with the parking even for 2 wheelers.

One of the best and most authentic places to try misal. We had their medium misal but it was enough spicy🔥 Certainly recommended to the spicy food lovers of the city.

Don't try Tikka Misal if you do not eat spicy food. And I do not like the medium misal test either. If you are a Misal lover then please visit this place. And @KatakirrrMisal please update your updated menu online also, because online shows a single paav is 3 rs but it is 6 rs.

The main branch of Katakirr. Located in a serene location. They have a token system here. You need to take a token and get seated after. The taste is good and service was fast(visited in non rush hours). A good experience overall.

Best misal paav i ever had. It was really yummy. We ordered medium misal but yet it was spicy. Loved it so much. The service is very fast with good atmosphere as well. They serve amazing quality misal at really low rates. Worth a visit.

The taste of misaal was not as expected rather it was just loaded with spice and not with taste , they should really work on it , the service was quick though , atmosphere was not good too it has congested seating arrangement and no space to move properly with small table

It’s famous in Pune but it’s not that great. Very limited seating area and very basic place. Food taste is average.

Quite a good Misal. They have three ranges regular medium and spicy. If you are a spicy lover then don't hesitate to ask them for an extra spicy one. Must try their solkadhi. Misal has authentic maharashtrian taste and subtle spices which makes you eat more and ask for extra kat(rassa).

If you have tried the katakirr misal before then there's nothing new here in terms of the food being served. I like the katakirr misal in general. The location of this outlet is great. It is close to the Ruby hospital. The space is somewhat compact and you might have to wait for the table. The owner and the staff are good and approachable. They have a washbasin outside. I am not sure if there is a washroom or not. They can add a few more ceiling fans or hanging fans at the ground floor sitting area.

Spicy hot but totally worth it, hot doesn’t mean bad flavor. Was delicious. Opt for mild or medium unless you are very used to the heat. They have buttermilk to save your stomach lining after.

Good place who are love to have Maharashtra’s local food … Misal Pav … They have three different choice … lightmedium … & spice … other then that they have butter milk and mattha …

Misal is heart and soul of Pune. Katakirr takes Misal to the peak of its popularity. There is nothing new in Katakirr that would not find in any other joint that serves Misal , yet Katakirr brings a new zone to its misal. They have introduced Jain Misal - no Onion , Garlic and potato less mix served with lesser spicy rassa ( curry) The misal are split in 3 types a Light Misal , a Medium Misal and a Tikhat misal. Based on the spicy nature of the content the Tikhat is spiciest they offer. You have have Mattha - buttermilk here and the Tikhat Misal is a must have with a strong disclaimer that it can be really really hot. The ambience is for a fast food shop and there are 2 areas to sit both will be almost full at morning and evening hours and weekends you need to make sure you are there early This place is awesome and so are the branches.

What always disappoints me at all Katakirr outlets is the dirty and unhygienic looking waiters. Katakirr owners/ managers never pay attention to the presentation of the boys serving customers. They kind of make me question the hygiene of the misal and other items. The taste is uniform across the outlets, with which I have no complaints.

Best place to have Misal Pav in Pune. No other place can compare to the taste once you have Misal at Katakirr. They have few branches throughout Pune. Though they only serve misal but what more do you need. They offer three level of spicyness light, medium & tikhat(very spicy) misal. You can also have curd or buttermilk on the side. You can pav(bread) as much as you want for 8-10 bucks a piece. They will also give you medium and extra spicy rassa(curry). You are not share 1 misal between 2 people but if you want you need to pay 50% extra. Overall the best place to have Misal in Pune.

Ordered medium spiced misal pav online. The delivery came in a well-packed box. Medium spicy itself can be quite spicy so order carefully. Had to rush to get a sweet to soothe the tongue but it was worth the burn :D
