Before renovation, we are able to get a simple meal at less than $5.00. After the renovation on 02 Dec 2022, every single stall charges exorbitant prices. The noodle stall (阿嬷吃面) charges a bowl of noodle at minimally $5.70. How many 阿嬷 can afford? The western stall (Backyard Griller) charges $8.90 for a small portion of spaghetti. Taste is average, nothing special. For that price I'd rather go Saizeriya. Worst is the mixed rice stall (同乐), charging more than $5.00 for a plate of rice with 2veg 1meat. And I noticed they deliberately hide the menu prices away under their cash register to continue charging unreasonable prices. The only stalls that have the taste to make it value for money are the roast meat and Bak Kut Teh stall. Were it not for these 2 stalls, I'd certainly boycott this food centre and go to the neighboring ones. The management needs to wake up with their ridiculous prices and ideas, making us consumers pay for their unnecessary renovation.

Before renovation, food was average and price was reasonable. After renovation, not only the price change to rocket high, the food was not improved at all. Went to the caifan stall, and what a shock, a simple caifan with 2 veg, 2 meat can cost $10.50. want to raise price, at least show us the price list. Went another time and I ordered 2 normal veg (without meat) and 1 sesame chicken, without rice, also cost $6.50. this price I might as well go punggol plaza or waterway point where more conducive environment, rather than this coffee shop with crows and flies all around. Not to mentioned, the food portion also not generous.

If you cannot take HEAT DON'T bother coming. You will feel heat coming from outside, coming from the stall behind you coming from the top just every where. There are fans but never on. Tables are always not very clean. Water here n there on table or sauce. But food is ok here. Too bad. Otherwise not a bad choice to eat here. Especially the western food n bee hoon. Flies here n there. Cos the doors r always wide open

Hi all, I want to complain the mala store this china guy working alone at around 10.57am on 18/11/23 it’s sat understand that he is tired from his work but then this is too much. So i was wondering why is the light off so i walk and see there one person inside i was thinking maybe he just prepare his food so never on the light cause it’s super obvious that the time i go all the store is open so i was taking my food then he come to me and say *hello haven’t open* so i say huh so i put back all my food? He say yes put back all the food i not take one or two i take a lot and he ask me to put it back one by one. So after putting back i asked him what time your open he reply 11am. So it’s just that two min time he can’t just take my food and wait till 11am? He ask me to put it back? Please do something about it cause i stay near by only I always eat mala and the lady there was friendly but she is not around so I wonder who is the boss? Your staff doesn’t want to work so pls do something about it.

Ordered noodles at the nasi lemak stall and there was a very bad tempered short hair mid aged chinese lady who raised her temper and voice at me for no particular reason. Rudely shouts at me saying it should tell her I want to mix the noodles. Lmao does she expect everyone that comes to the stall to be experts at ordering lol can't she think that there are people that are ordering for the first time and hence may not know how to order the way she likes. Furthermore she did not tell me the total price to pay and js turned arnd to continue eating which I think was very disrespectful. Extremely disappointed by the service and my morning is ruined. Did not enjoy the food at all. Will not patronise this stall again.

Good kopitiam with friendly kopi stall staff... spent an hour or so daily for the kopi....just some of d food vendor are overpriced... Aglio Olio with a single tiny slice of ham cos SGD7...

Got a fresh look after renovation. Got a new Western food stall. Hav not try. The mixed veg rice stall is now taken by 长城. Taste much better than the previous one. Noodles stall under a new name, but man by almost the same staff from previous name. The taste is not too bad. Young tau fu stall is only so so. Wanted to try the new duck rice stall, but walk off after I see the price.
