I recently had the privilege of playing Punta Espada Golf Club. The experience was absolutely amazing! The views were spectacular, and the course was in great condition. I have played many nice courses including Pebble Beach, and this course stacks up with the best courses anywhere. The staff was very friendly. I was helped at the club by Felipe Gonzalez. Felipe welcomed me and made my club experience wonderful. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime golf experience. Thank you, Felipe for your Five Star treatment!

Postcard like views, There's no words to describe how beautiful the landscaping of this place is. Every corner is photo worthy. Peaceful place to play golf. Definitely a #MustVisit in #PuntaCana @Aventure.dos

Definitely a bucket list course with one of the best views of all the courses i have played till date. The course's condition of immaculate when i played last September. We had 2 caddies with us and both of them were pretty helpful. Overall, a very enjoyable course. Pricey yes -but you gotta play this course!.

Went on our honeymoon in the Cap Cana area of Punta Cana which is where this course is and it’s a must play! Golf Week ranks it #1 in the Caribbean and Mexico for a reason. Breathtaking ocean views from almost every hole and even the ones off the coast are gorgeous. Even the club house has one of the best entries and views in all of golf. Fantastic design and layout by Jack, course is in an excellent condition and they’re building up mansions and resorts all around it.. Wind is definitely a factor no matter the day but caddies will tell you how to play every hole/shot with the wind. About $300 for greens fees, club rentals (Titleist AP1 818), range balls, a caddie and transportation. Only minor issues - transportation was sketchy, just a random guy picking you up in his car, not a company shuttle. Also, they don’t include balls to play with which for $300 I thought was ridiculous. I talked them into giving me used balls for $1 each but sleeves are $16 so bring your own balls! Also bring cash to tip your caddies.. Overall the best course I’ve ever played and that includes Hawaii and other ocean front courses in the US.

OMG! What an experience. Pricey? Yes but worth it and I would do it again. As a newer golfer, I was loving having a caddie. I was shocked that the balls played towards the water even though it would look opposite of how the green would run. And the price for the Clase Azul was a bonus :) Took a long time to play the holes and they had some singles that hung on our butts a couple times but did not ruin our day at all.

The most beautiful golf course in Dominican Republic. They have gold trainers that are great at training kids. It’s a perfect place to have a holiday, go for a walk early in the morning late afternoon. Suitable for families. You could find restaurants in EdenRoc. Highly recommended!

Golfing with this view is absolutely incredible. I highly recommend golfing here and enjoying such a luxurious stay at the Eden Roc in Cap Cana.

Most beautiful golf course I have ever played, by far the most ocean holes. Super slow rounds though but of the scenery is this beautiful what does it matter.

One of the best golf courses I have ever played, enjoyed every second of it. Highly recommend.

One of the greatest golf experiences of my life. The views, the range, the layout, the vibes, the caddy, the clubhouse are all top notch. Recommend to everyone.

Spectacular views, you will not find anything like it, I played in the afternoon so there's a lot of wind which makes it a really tough course would love to come back and pay it in the morning.

Absolutely stunning golf course! Everything about the facility, course, staff is first class. It’s hard to concentrate on playing golf here with the views you have of the Caribbean on most holes. The only thing I could criticize is the greens weren’t in tip top condition as the rest of the course, but I’m starting to nit-pick here also.

The only reason this isn't a 5 start is because of the rental clubs. While Titleist T300s are great irons, they only offer steel shaft blades. No offset option, or graphite shafts. This make the course that much more challenging. It is the most beautiful course I've ever played. Armando was a great caddie that's been in the business for a long time. He new the course well and picked up on our playing ability very quickly. The wind was a challenge as well and the greens were super fast. Almost like putting on concrete. If we played more than one day I would have shipped my clubs there. But for $65 the rental clubs will suffice. I just hope they have more options. I would think a course that is #1 in the Caribbean would have more club options

What an absolutely incredible experience! From start to finish an absolute first class experience! The course is pristine and you can see the crew takes pride in it. Forgiving yet challenging but overall the views will take care of any challenges you have. Wind is a huge factor so make sure you take your caddies advice and don’t try to challenge them. The fastest greens I’ve ever experience in my life. Like taking a marble and rolling it on a pane of glass!! Loved it so much booked another round for later this week! Highly recommended course!

5 star golf course with 1 star service. When paying $500 for a round, I was expecting better service. Rental clubs are relatively old and beat up set up with only one wedge. When I politely asked if they had a 60 degree I was told no and given the sarcastic response of “your enjoyment doesn’t depend on you having a 60 degree wedge”. This left a really bad taste and untimely impacted my enjoyment on a wonderful course, and the huge financial sacrifice that I made to play. Such a shame, when you have a premium price tag you expect a premium experience from entering the property to leaving.

Punta Espada is an incredibly beautiful golf course, well-maintained view breathtaking views and design features. Fairways are quite open and below average players like me will lose less balls than on most courses. Carts and caddy are mandatory and our caddy Benny was a good sport and helpful on the course. I plan to visit this course again in the future. Expensive but worth it!

Amazing views and tremendous conditions. Rivals the World’s top shore line courses. Highly suggest

  • 5/5 Roger G. 2 years ago on Google
Hands down the best course in Punta Cana. The smallest details are looked after from reaching well maintained grass to caddy’s and their advice. Greens run incredibly fast and the whole course feels more pga like than Corales. Showers and change room on site, including a club room.

Enjoy spectacular views while you play with the of knowledgeable and helpfull caddies. A real must regardless of your level of your golf skills

Better than Teeth of the dog for sure. Well maintained. Wish I could play without caddie which I'm not used to have one, but it was great experience.

Beautiful golf course! Our caddy Martín was the absolute best!! Highly recommended to play here if you are an avid golfer and have the time!

This course is average at best. The view is beautiful and the green is well maintained. Half the place is under construction both outside and in. There is nothing special to the "club house"... basically a restaurant and a locker room. The staff are not friendly and the guy working the pro shop will try to lie and cheat you. They wanted to charge us an extra fee because I brought my wife on the "transportation". I already paid for the transportation and the extra rider fee. He lied to us when he said this was able to be added on the website, it is not. Then he charged us for it and then his buddy tried to charge us again. Transportation is a mess and they will try to rip you off. The restaurant was full of desperate house wives to the point that a new series could be filmed here. This is an average resort course with a good view, don't let them sell you on anything more.

One of the best golf courses in the Domincan Repúblic, target golf if you play from the tips, good condition great caddies and amenities , super expensive but worth it at least one time. CORRALES down the street is a better challenge.

In a word...."WOW"! A wonderful experience....a staggeringly beautiful course and it is a challenge to play. Also plays long. The views are amazing. All of the staff are extremely friendly and quite helpful.

This is easily the best course I have ever played. It is a natural wonder how they keep it so well groomed despite how hot it is! The views are amazing. The course can be challenging on some holes however it’s a good balance. The caddies are excellent and very attentive. HIGHLY recommend!

Top 3 course I've ever played, 100% a 5 ⭐ course. Must play for any golfer at any level. But make sure you get a caddie!
