Got 2 bottles of expensive alcohol, paid and felt on the slippery floor and crushed all bottles, they didn't want to compensate me anything, were so rude and ignorant, by the way this duty free is overpriced and marked prices like in the USA liquor stores. Left Dominican very disappointed and unhappy, scam is everywhere in the country started from a first step in the airport shame on you

Bought a pair of beats by Dre headphones DO NOT BUY ELECTRONICS FROM THIS STORE WITHOUT VERIFYING THEIR ITEM IS NOT REFURBISHED. Contacted Apple cause the beats would not turn on or function when contacting Apple they informed me that the item was refurbished and nothing could be done. We spent $150 on defective product!!

Very nice... Very good and nice duty-free shop located at Punta Cana airport in the Dominican Republic. Extremely pure and offers goods to world top manufacturers at very reasonable prices. The service staff is very friendly and professional. Personally, I was very pleased with the market and I will be glad to come back again and be your customer ... Thanks for the service. BEWARE FALSE AND DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING!! signage clearly stated 20% off Chivas 18yo 1L and 750L. Sales girls tried to tell me 2 bottles were required for 20% off even though signage clearly didn't say that. Then on top of that tried to place her commission sticker on my bottle - she hadn't done anything to assist. At the cash they would only discount 15% and couldn't provide any explanation as to why they wouldn't honour their own advertising. The employee at the cash said that this issue was happening all the time and it was very frustrating for him and the other cashiers. Like all things in the DR you have to stand up for yourself and push back.

They are liars! Do not buy cigarettes here. They told me allowance into US is FIVE CARTONS PER PERSON. I purchased 5 and my husband purchased 5 and we spent $450!!!! US customs (and google it please!!) told us it’s ONE CARTON PER PERSON!!!! They took the rest away. These people are liars, they know exactly what the allowance is and lie to you to get more money. I’m disputing all charges with my credit card company and you should too if this happens to you! This place needs to be shut down. See attached photo of reciept!!! They know exactly what they are doing. Read other reviews! I am not the first person this has happened to!

This place was terrible, the follow you around the entire time constantly asking if your going to purchase anything I was going to purchase a case of Johnny blue, and a case of patron' but the prices are similar to the states. So I asked for deal because of the quantity I was purchasing and they told me get lost. All I wanted was $10 off per bottle not to much to ask considering how much they sell, they told me to get lost real nice customer service. Do your research on how much everything cost before you go there.

We get almost all items we used to get in duty free shops. I saw many items on display are meant for tourists. Punta Cana is a vacation destination for thousands of North Americans. The name of the duty free shop may attract crowds. Some items on sale and at a discounted price are profitable to purchase. Almost all the items are par with the international prices.

Great place to do duty free shopping. Some prices do not reflect duty free in comparison of some alcohol price in stores in Canada with added taxes. No Cuban cigars, no Davidoff cigars. Large selection of cocoa and coffee organic choice is also available. Very good price on rum selection.

TINY VARIETY OF LOCAL SPIRITS AT DOUBLE THE LOCAL PRICES! They are trying to push international brands, which is ridiculous, given that the Dominican rums are many and world class. The Dominican Republic deserves better representation of their own products in their own country. And if you ask for local rums, they're referring you to the sister store further down the terminal, where an extremely limited variety is on offer. Two different Barcelo and two other local rums are sold at twice the PRICE they sell in Dominican retail STORES ($19 instead of DOP 500 / $8.83). I ended up ordering the same product at a lower price in an online store back home and safe myself from having to carry it. DON'T BUY HERE!

Nice big store with a wide variety of products. Liquor prices are not bad and they have bottles of all sizes. The tobacco selection is smaller compared to the Dominican gifts store in the airport but the prices are a few dollars cheaper when you save the tax. Overall is well organized, clean and staff is ready to answer your questions. Note there is another DFA store on your way in the DR but much smaller than the one on your way out.

DO NOT BUY from here! They (2 different associates) lie to us and told us 1 person can buy 3 carton of cigarets. They just want business.

Beware of price gouging. All departing passengers are forced to walk though this location. Once you purchase your items and exit, you will notice another duty free shop where items are priced significantly lower. The store refuses to return items and issue a refund even if the item is in a sealed box and you have the receipt, minutes after purchasing.

They told me my allowance for tobacco was 2 boxes (20 x 50g pouches) flying to the UK. They scanned my passport and saw my boarding pass and let me buy it at check out. Customs in the UK took it all and said it’s 250g allowance and they tell everyone the wrong information so they buy more. Absolute SCAM and should be illegal to give misinformation to customers that consequently results in them breaking custom laws.

The amount of people at the airport trying to sell or extort money was insane especially at the duty free by the Wendy’s it’s very overwhelming the lady wouldn’t even let me look around she was putting things in my cart and pushing me to the cash register.

Why you don’t put prices on your products? So that you can sell it to foreigners for more expensive ? Like for example 7$ water you wanted to sell me?

Overpriced store. Doubled regular USD dollar prices(in DR ??? ) and entire airport the same way, even you want to buy snacks also in US dollars as well.

Just bought 2 bottles of hard liquor spent 58$ ,slipped and broke 2 bottles, stuff didn't want to compensate me anything plus I cut my finger to the blood and they just don't care. By the way their prices much higher than in regular store in the United States 🇺🇸 they're just ripped off people, scam all over the place

It’s a joke. There are 5 persons at the register but they won’t serve you, they will just talk to each other and ignore you.

I loved a lot my great experience here because your shop sells lots of duty free items at very good prices, your personnel and your owner is very friendly, nice and welcoming, the quality of your products is very good, i considered this place very modern and this shop is well situated in the airport.
