Great local staff, lead by Andy Leo, these people are the real thing, a family part of a local tribe, very accommodating cabanas, right on the river, you can charter trips down river, night walks, profesional, safe, great food and awesome prices, just tell them I sent you;-) Oh and the stories at night told by Chief Leo...specially the Legend of "Mundo Puma" - you can stay up all night just hearing the river roar.

This place is beautiful and right on the river with two miradors overlooking the Napo River with hammocks and tables to relax and enjoy the scenery. The cabin we stayed in was very nice, the bed had a mosquito net and the windows had screens. The breakfast was very delicious, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped with lots of fruit trees and flowers. The chorus of insects and frogs at night was amazing. They are building a pool on the grounds so there was some construction noise but the pool should be nice when finished. Overall I really enjoyed this place.

The property is very beautiful and room was cute, but everything else was more or less. One important thing they don’t tell you is, the bridge to access the lodge is out of service (locals said it has been for a year) so you will have to take a boat to & from. Also, there was no employee at reception for 25 minutes when we came to checkin. But mostly we were disappointed because this property does NOT have hot water. The jacuzzi was ice cold even after waiting 45 minutes, and the shower in our room only got warm for 5 minutes. They also need to add more items to the menu because they don’t have many options to eat/drink in the restaurant.

we spent a few days at the Rio Napo Lodge. It's a little paradise in the middle of the jungle. In the garden there are many different plants, trees, flowers that attract an incredible number of birds. At breakfast you can watch hummingbirds being attracted to the flowers. In the evening at dinner we even saw a tarantula, which of course was not interested in us. The views of the Rio Napo and Puerto Misahualli while having breakfast or dinner are really great. The food is generally very good and always freshly prepared. The perfect place to relax... either in the huge pool or on the hammock on the terrace in front of the room. Diana, our hostess, told us a lot about the area and accompanied and guided us. A really great place that you can recommend.

Amazing place to visit in the middle of the rain forest. Excellent service, nice views, the cabins are big, clean and confortable. Mrs. Diana, the person in charge is absolutely polite and helpful. The breakfast was delicious! Highly recommended.

Excellent value, I will return. Delicious maita de tilapia.
