So i am always honest with my reviews , if I think it stinks I only say my experience... and as far as I can tell this place is super expensive for tiny portions , for our tiny town of purcell !!! This place is exactly why most people don't bother with "the support your local business!!! They will pick a chain over local ect. !!! I for one will not be back as they can not justify there pricing and lack there of portions !!! If we stop coming they will figure it out right !!! And the food was adequate at BEST for such an expensive sandwich !!! Remember supporting your local business doesn't mean allowing them to take advantage !!!!

I wish I could get them 10 stars. The old man is great to talk to and you are going to leave feeling full and wonderful. They called them burnt end cuts but they are so tender. Everything is good though

I ordered a 2 meat dinner, Brisket and sliced chicken, the portions were tiny and nowhere near fresh cooked or cut. The brisket was greasy and rubbery and the chicken was hard and very dry, for an $18 meal I was very disappointed. My wife asked for turkey and was told they had none and it was seasonal, understandable, however the sign out front indicates they have turkey.

Mehh! Mediocre at best. My son got the sliced brisket and said it was good. I had ribs and was not impressed at all! I bet you can find a better place to eat.

The employees at this location are in serious need of some more training. Its not the fault of the store that certain online items weren’t taken off. It is however the fault of the employees who loudly discussed me being wrong about the replacement order, that i was only given half of. The young man i spoke to was incredibly rude, laughing at my questions, and scoffed when i asked if i was still getting my food before loudly telling the blonde woman next to him to “just make it whatever.” My family has come here for years, and it’s unfortunate that my first experience was with people who poorly represent the company.

I took 3# of sliced and 3# of chopped brisket and sauces with me to southern Louisiana for 17 people and had plenty to eat it for 2 meals. Everyone loved it, it traveled well and everyone enjoyed it. They were impressed with Van's and so was I. Thanks guys!

My wife and I have visited Van's in Purcell on several occasions.. Each visit has been met with excellent customer service and great food!! On this visit, I sampled the smoked ham and sliced brisket accompanied by seasoned green beans and their macaroni & cheese.. My wife had their pig sandwich (pulled pork) and spiral cut, skin-on fries.. Aside from the sliced ham being just a touch dry and the mac & cheese being a bit inconsistent, everything we had was tasty and fulfilling.. Their fries, when served hot and fresh (we've never received them any other way), are quite good and unique!! We'll continue to frequent this and other Van's locations as we've yet to be disappointed with anything we've received!! They offer a 10% military discount, too, and while not a deal breaker, it is just an added nice touch..

I didn't know that there was a vans in Purcell o when I saw there was one I went to it.. yes I know it was 45 minutes before they closed but still the food should have been some what fresh you would think 🤔. Nope the meat was super dry ribs pulled pork and brisket all 3 super dry.. then the two sides I got which were both Fried okra, both were so hard you could have broken a tooth.. my chickens wouldn't even eat it an they eat everything! It was the worst vans I have ever had! So disappointed and for the money that was spent it share wasn't worth the 68.00 dollars 😕. I'll drive to norman before I go to Purcell again

My dad and I actually stopped at the one in Norman earlier in the afternoon and loved it so much we came back for dinner. We ordered to go since my dad lives in Purcell now. But the food was delicious. We were there before the dinner rush so it was quiet and fast. Appreciate everyone’s kindness. We will be back.

The food was decent, place needs cleaned. People eat here. The salt and pepper shakers are beyond sticky your shoes stick to the floor and everything else. Doesn't look like it gets swept or anything. I wonder how the kitchen looks... where our food is being cooked. The area we're eating at is nasty...

After a long day of driving, I wanted a nice sit down restaurant with good food. This was it! Food was great, brisket, pulled pork, and ribs, curly fries and a side of potato salad. Just what we wanted. Hot, fresh, and fast was also a big plus. The cashier and cooks were extremely pleasant. They have a big dinning area and plenty of food choices. Next time I come down here, I will be back! Thank you!

Don't tip. They do nothing for you. You order standing up. You get your own drinks and cutlery. You go get your food from the front. You get your own refills. Very expensive for the amount of food you get.

Pretty good BBQ, but far from the best. Prices are a little steep for what you get. Super friendly manager and staff.

Vans has berry good smoked meat. All the usual suspects. Their brisket is our favorite but the ribs are good too. Drive thru is fast, prices are in line with other BBQ places. They also do large orders and catering.

Order was messed up, got no pot salad, did get an extra rib, ribs where worst, fatty n dry, burger tasted like them organ burger Patty's from Walmart, best part of whole meal was BBQ sauce, and that's just sad, will 100% not be back, was warned, decided to test the waters and I got burnt... 100% will warn others not to go there either...

This was the most expensive lunch we’ve paid for in a long time. All we got was a loaded potato and chicken salad and cost was almost $40! Back to Billy Sim’s and Swadley’s from here on out.

Really loved the BBQ sauces and the brisket was so tender 🤤 apple was fresh out the oven!! 🥰

First off let's just say the brisket was dry, the lemons looked rotten, definitely no employees seemed happy whatsoever. The place was so quiet. When I asked to maybe turn up the volume on one of the TV's, the guy said he wasn't allowed. Watching the race may have made me not notice how dirty it was. Meanwhile what seemed to be the manager and the cashier were only concerned about their phones ( I got pics of EVERYTHING) There was one other family on the opposite end in a more private spot and the place was deafening silent except for the guy bussing tables. This place in no way can be related to the other Vans in Moore, OK

We didn't know the menus. Staff could have been more help. We didn't know where the condiments were. Staff did not offer to help. We muddled through. Staff could have been friendly and helpful. They werent! Food was great.

Ribs tasted old, when I mentioned it to the guy working there. His response was.."I'll make sure they put out fresh ribs tomorrow" I've ate at Van's for years and never had bad ribs, I was fine with hey it was an off night, but that response really bothers me. Rest of my food was great but really? **EDIT** Stopped in tonight at their closing time, they still served me. The Ribs were great, as were the sides, and banana pudding. Only small issue was when I went to get a refill they had already dumped the tea, but can't blame them they were ready to go home I'm sure.

BBQ this dry is why swadleys keeps getting voted the best bbq in Oklahoma. That is not saying much either. Being from Texas. We get spoiled. The coleslaw and potato salad was good.

Stay away from here. No one knows what they are doing and when I called in about my order being completely wrong I wasn’t even offered a refund. Was told we would be given credit. Driving 30 min to get dinner and then this happening… What a joke of a restaurant that’s def gonna lose business over this. I’ll make sure.

Food is okay, did not taste fresh. Drive thru service has never gotten our order right. Been there half a dozen times and never right. Expensive and small portions. Adult chopped brisket serving feeds my 8 yr old. Not a fan.

Early dinner. Rack Pack was yummy! Ribs fell off the bone. 5 year old said, “this is his best place in the whole wide world!” Kid’s cheeseburger got high praise from our 9 year old.

If you haven't tried the bbq brisket and fries.... Your missing a great meal. 15.00$ 2 people can share and enjoy! Excellent flavor!!

Sliced sandwich was tasteless, even with sauce. Ribs were okay. Sauce tasted like straight chili powder. Yuck. Got two potato salad instead of one and cole slaw, was 45+ miles away before finding out. How?
