Golden Beach Also famous as the Puri Beach, the Golden Beach is a stretch of fine golden sand dotted with stalls selling sumptuous sea food and knick-knacks. One among the beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Even in morning and evening there would be crowded but you can enjoy the sea as well the beach. The people over there is nice. The sand artist over there gives another dimension to the beach through their artistic work.we had visited the beach on morning and in evening. I can guarantee you it is one of the cleanest beach of India. You will surely enjoy the cleanliness & calmness here. There are 3-4 beaches here, all are very clean, safe & crowd friendly. In 80-90% of places have lifeguards here, so it is also safe to bath or swim here. Specially in golden blue flag beach you will get best hospitality & best atmosphere. There are some sitting places to enjoy the beach view also. So, a must visit place if you are planning to spend your holidays or weekends

Beautiful beach. A long one where you can actually walk a bit, shop from the stalls, relax with a cup of tea while enjoying the waves making those amazing sounds, the cool breeze, the sand beneath your feet and an endless ocean right in front of you. Pro tip: You can get a comfortable chair to relax @ ₹20 for an hour.

This beach is soooo beautiful and clean. Also it is peaceful, the food is cheaper, less crowded as compared to the golden beach. Golden beach is a tourist attraction place but I would recommend this beach. During lockdown it was much quieter and we can stay here till 11pm. At night it's really calm as there's not many people around and there's less lights so we can enjoy the beach, moonlight, stars, the winds, the sound waves and beer if you like😉🤭

This part of the sea beach is very very less crowded.and not appropriate to get deep down to the sea.if you're a peace lover then you can spend some time here but if you want to enjoy the water then go to the main Puri beach,which is around 1 km from this place along sea shore.

The beach has beacome clean over the years. I visit Puri every year and this year the beach has become so clean and the water which used to looked green in color, has now become teal.. Kudos to the locals and Govt. Jai Jagannath 🙏🏻

Fabulous place, worth visiting with family, be there as early as possible like around 7:00 am in the morning, so you can enjoy for 4-5 hrs at least, not recommended to go deep into the ocean the waves are extremely strong.

Today I wanna share you how was my experience on Puri beach 🏖️ which I have visited last month with my friends.Puri is best for eastern region peoples the beach is neat and clean except few beaches.There are paid chairs kept near the beaches so elders can sit there and watch the lovely view of sunset from there. At evening near the beach this is a great place for eating fast food & marketing. One more thing, don’t forget to visit the Jagannath temple(The Jagannath Temple is an important Hindu temple dedicated to Jagannath, a form of Vishnu – one of the trinity of supreme divinity in Hinduism) , Chilka lake , Konark sun temple, Blue flag Beach etc.The beach also offer activities like 🐫 camel ride , 🐎 horse ride , motor bike ride , jet ski🎿 etc. I guarantee u must love this places. I was surprised to sea so near to the road.. Place is worth visit.. you can come and sit whole day watching sea waves coming in and going out.. camel ride is 100 rs.. one chair to sit is 100rs per hour.. Lifeguards are good.. I spent 5 hours there watching people , sea and yes shooting some selfies and enjoying in water.. Love sea beaches always

Eastern coastline of the country is full of beaches...1st time visited beaches in puri..the Golden beach is for all..had a camel ride, had fried seafood that was so yummy n stomach friendly too if consumed in limited amount...another was Niladri beach- a perfect clean maintained beach.

We went to the Blue Flag beach. Entry is charged as less as ₹20. Vehicle parking is available for two wheelers and three wheelers. This beach is clean and well maintained by nearby private hotels, kind of a private beach. Visitors are provided with amenities like chairs with umbrella, drinking water, jogging track, changing rooms, first aid kits, toilets, refreshments, life guards are at watch all the time, etc. All these are chargeable with minimal amount of money. Crowd in this beach is less as compared to other beaches. You can enjoy time with family and friends hassle-free.

This sea beach is the most visited beach in odisha. The beach is however polluted mostly by plastic waste. The water is unclear, muddy, and polluted. But, the night view of the beach is soothing. The overall experience here has been good so far.

There are small seafood corners around the beach where you can try out delicious crabs and prawns; we took the camel ride at a reasonable price (there is always scope for bargain). This place symbolize gateway to heaven By walking distance you will find Swargadwar Market where many shops selling Odisha handloom, handcrafts, artefacts, showpiece made by shells and many more. Exciting place for shopaholics. After a bit walking distance you will find Swargadwar Samsan which is one of the famous Hindu cremation centre. People from outside Puri allowed to cremate bodies at Swargadwar. This place has special historical/mythical engima. The name Swargadwar itself represent the gateway to heaven. This is the only golden sand beach in the world. A place which has a special place in the hearts of odiya people. Lovely scenic surrounding. But needs some waste management due to littering by the people. The visiting people quantity is huge so it bound to happen.

Beach is famous for high waves. Beautiful sunrise. Beach is on high demand from November to March. Have paid sitting under umbrella, horse riding, camel ride, malish wala , photographer,, locker facilities,.sunrise to 10 am is the best time to visit ,.nariyal pani jhal muri available .peeled kheera.too.

Experience was amazing. This was my First time out here. The waves 🌊 literally are Beast in Nature. And Rainfall made it look more amazing. Thought will experience Sunset but... Rainfall had different plan

Edited rating to two stars, I felt unsafe here cause there is no space for car parking, police person are arguing with u to keep car in parking area, which two parking area places is very far from beach. Govt should take care of this. Parking charges also very high here. You will Spent all the money in the name of parking. Don't go there with car, if u really wants to enjoy..

Great place to enjoy your vaccination. One of the favourite place of mine. Beach is getting neat and clean day by day. Good job done by the administration. Also many activities can be done on the beach like shopping of jewellery made of shell and eating sea foods which are quite fresh and refreshing. Chairs are available on the beaches for sitting purposes on chargeable basis.

Great. The colour of the water is also beautiful. But so many plastic bottol and another garbage are there , which is not good. Also many types of food and drinks available here. For night stay you can stay in a hotel in average budget. From here puri temple is not so far (20min walk).

Great experience.... Want to visit again and again ... Sunrise and sunset from the beach is love..... Beach is clean and populated also..... It's just 1.5 km from the Jagannath temple one can easily be there by rickshaw or anything easily available👌👌✅✅ highly recommended...

Quite ohk but not full satisfaction because of bathroom after swim we all are totaly cover with sand and the washroom was so dirty such bad smell and not proper sanitation during such a big pandemic period so sad but I love this place because of there people and yeah for beach just awesome

I loved the ambience of Puri sea beach in the afternoon. Had lunch here and what a beautiful sunset over the sea beach. Weather of spring for all the time of the year attracts tourists.

More shades and chairs are needed. It is not senior citizen friendly.
