It is one of the calm, peaceful and beautiful place in puri located in the outskirt of the main city. Normally visiting hours is before sunset. It is a very calm and peaceful place to spend some quality time. Many small and large idols/deities of Lords are present here along with a krishna radha temple. It's a very nice place. It is commonly known as mata matha. The heavenly atmosphere will change your mind. The entry is free of cost .You can donate some money for the betterment of temple. Infront Of it shoe stand is there. Mobile is allowed inside. The temple shows a no of mythological incidents through stone carving. You can see the idol of lord Krishna, Hanuman, jagannath, Bishnu,Brahma, Chaitanya etc. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is great and the temple administration wants to bulid a great status of 70 feets. So It's a request to all contribute in small amount towards such great work

A nice picnic spot in Puri. 10 Rs per person entry fees as on March 2023. Approach road is essentially absent from this area and it needs lot of development to be considered a must visit place including Maintainance inside the park. But that being said, you should visit this place for some of brilliant art and cultural heritage views. The sculptures inside park are marvelous and some are simply breathtaking. If you have some time, try to visit the place. And I sincerely hope that this place could provide better services for visitors.

I've been to Puri for 6-7 times but it was until recently that I got to visit this place, thanks to trip advisor. The place is absolutely a tourist magnet due to its greenery amidst the ocean sands. Though the road condition is poor and it's location sometimes divert the travellers from actually encountering this place , it was a splendid trip. I personally, as a lover of sculptures and arts would recommend it to fellow art lovers and kids especially find this place amusing (selfie lovers too). Here's a bunch of snaps to give you an idea of what to expect and also don't worry about charities, they are not mandatory in this temple 😉
