It is located near Purulia city bus stand (900 mt approx) , mainly popular among couples, it is surrounded by Saheb Bandh(full of hyacinth,renovation underway), a well known waterbody in Purulia township. The park is maintained by Forest Department, the place is located with many beautiful trees and flowering plants. There are concrete benches and roads around the park. There are some recreation for children too. Ticket Price for adult Rs 15/adult for 2 hours. There is another rate chart for morning walk.

It's a nice park. Actually it's for couples. Nice place to hang out with friends too. Entry fee is 15 per person.

I visited this place with one of my friend I felt very bad which I didn't expect. Whenever we entered the place after taking tickets we see , everywhere some of boyes snd girls were doing some shameless things in publically, we feel very bother 😑 and immediately leave the place.Obviously it is not a place to going with your family. It is located south side means it's main gate or entry gate in South side. Very famous and too much big lake 'saheb bandh', which is attracted peoples of nearer district, not only west bengal, orissa, jharkhand, bihar also. The park is not too much big but it's location is amazing, very clean, couple friendly etc. This time huge birds are arriving here. Parking spaces are not available i mean safe parking which is under control by park authorities. Public park their vehicles on roadside. Every person entry money is fifteen rupees. Very amazing and wonderful place.lots of love.

It is ideal for teenagers couple. No noise or any hindren does not interfere to enjoy the flavour of natural environment. There is sufficient space for car parking. Small size of different tea stalls are available beside the park.

Lovely park for kids and adults to enjoy. Swing and slide and other equipment are there for kids. It hosts the much awaited Flower show every year from 23rd to 26th January. Do visit it once for the unique walkway surrounded by Saheb bandh. Tickets needed for entry.

Subhash Park, is located in Purulia, in the state of West Bengal, India. It is a well maintained Park with a beautiful scenery, abode with natural beauty. There is a biggest problem is no parking space is available means, People park their cars on the side of the road. The entrance fee for each person is fifteen rupees. Moreover this a amezing and romantic place of Purulia township.

This is the only place in purulia where couples can spend time who are not able to book hotels due to the hefty amount charged. Just pay 15 rs per head, And then you can cuddle with your partner. But beware of the guards. Don't get cuddly when they pass by, else you and your partner will be thrown out of the park.

The park is remains open from 11a, to 6 pm ,and the time may varry according to season. Previously the park was regularly maintained ,but now a days maintainance is not done properly,

First of all, if we divide the daytime into 2 time periods then up to 4 pm couples visit there. After that anyone except the above-mentioned visits, especially families, in the evenings. And the park is not as big as in other cities we generally see, like in the capital cities. I wish we would have more parks in the town so that people can go there for aesthetic pleasure.

You will find alot of greenery master piece picture perfect place. But i was been looted when i went for photoshoot They charged 400 for 1hr. I was shooting few pictures for my wedding.

Not maintained properly. Tiles on the pavements for walkers are btoken and stolen in some places. Children's playnig things and rides are dangerously broken. There are weeds grown everywhere. The park looks almost abandoned. The Forest department (park and garden) is responsible for maintainance, but seems to be irresponsible and careless. Govt should take immediate action and get it throughly renovated in the interst of city dwellers and children of this town.

It's a very beautiful place for spending quality times with your family,friends and specially with your loving one's, with affordable price. It is located on the bank saheb bandh, purulia. It cover a huge area in greenery. There are See-saw, dolna and many more playing things for children. Even there are separate dolna for adult ones. Water and washrooms facility is also available inside it.

The place is always evergreen and proud of Purulia, but its maintainance is very bad, not a single children's ride is maintaining properly. So I heartily request to the incharge of this place please look into this matter to avoid accident. Regards

Subhas Park is always well known for its beauty. It is beside a lake well known as Saheb Bandh is always pleasure to visit. Island view of Saheb Bandh from this park can amaze everyone. It is really a green park and at winter time it becoming colorful due to countless flowers. Migrant birds gather arround at winter time also. It is a must see place for tourists.
