Kućica Sljeme

This place is medium size… the service was a bit slow, the food was good, I came just for coffee and dessert since the cable car was stopping working at 6pm. They have a nice outdoors seating area. The DJ was great. I like the atmosphere. You can pay with card or cash. Dogs are welcome.

Pravo iznenađenje. Izvrsno jelo koje ne očekujete na Sljemenu, kao da je netko prenio prave top restorane iz centra Zagreba podno TV tornja. Konobari izuzetno brzi i ljubazni, kvaliteta jela vrhunska kao i ugođaj. Za pohvalu.

Ordered hot chocolate, beef burger without bacon and fries which are ordered separately..the hot chocolate was more like a chocolate pudding and half a cup only had to consume with a spoon it was so thick ..the burger was good and humongous...staff was only one guy who was very slow and very rude... The french fries are supposed to be served with the burger which we have finished eating and still no sign of the fries ....very rude staff...talked back at us very rudely when confronted at the delay...it's the only eatery open...so at least there should be enough staff to cater..it's not the fault of the poor guy....the ownership should provide enough staff so that they don't feel burdened by work....we are visiting Croatia for the first time ...and such incidents ruin the image....

Great experience during the weekdays at kucica Sljeme, nice views and especially enjoy the glass terrace that is warm even in winter months. Easy access from the gondola. We tried the hamburger, vegan menu, and finger food on multiple occasions and was good and better prices than zagreb city center. It gets very very busy on weekends, so would definitely inquire about a reservation. And have some patience with the staff, because 100s of people are there and the wait is a little bit longer. Still worth the wait! You’re on top of a mountain, enjoy the sun!

Easily the worst — and most overpriced — strudel we’ve had anywhere in the Balkans. We ordered two coffees, an apple strudel, a cherry strudel, and two chocolate muffins. €35. For that price, you would at least expect something decent. Instead, every single item was genuinely unpleasant. The strudels tasted stale and artificial, the muffins were dry and 1000 gram of sugar... This was, without exaggeration, the most disappointing and overpriced café experience of our entire trip. Absolutely not recommended!

Great service and food!

I recently had the chance to try the vegetarian menu at Kućica Sljeme and one standout dish absolutely stole the spotlight: the vege salmon. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or just curious, the vege salmon is worth a try. It’s a refreshing alternative that doesn’t compromise on flavor, texture, or presentation. A perfect example of how plant-based dining can be both innovative and indulgent

The atmosphere here is really nice, and the staff are kind and trying their best. Unfortunately, the place seems understaffed, which makes both ordering and food service quite slow. The ribs we ordered were okay, though not particularly special. The roasted potatoes that came with the pork were served cold, which was disappointing. I had also made a reservation a couple of days in advance, but when we arrived, they couldn’t find it in their system—though to their credit, they did manage to seat us. Overall, I’d say this spot has potential, but they still have a lot to work on in terms of organization and consistency.

Perfect place to chill surrounded by trees. Food is delicious and prepared with care and full of flavour. Service is very friendly and fast. We enjoyed our time spent here very much!

Amazing spot at the top of the Gondola. Had the homemade sausage and it was great! Good drinks, great atmosphere with seating options from tables to lounge areas in the grass. Staff is super friendly and attentive with quick service! Live DJ playing music while we were there created a fun upbeat atmosphere!

Kućica ima fantastičnu hranu, porcije su obilne i jako ukusne. Ambijent je top toplo, ugodno i baš s planinskim šarmom. Konobari su iznimno ljubazni i uslužni, vidi se da se trude oko svakog gosta. Poseban doživljaj je pogled – sjedenje uz prozor ili na terasi s pogledom na prirodu je pravi užitak. Idealno mjesto za opuštanje nakon šetnje ili izleta. Preporuka od srca, vraćam se sigurno!

Danas smo bili na obiteljskom ručku i hrana je stvarno vrhunska, konobari ljubazni i uslužni, stvarno prekrasno uređenje i ugođaj. Doživljaj je još dodatno uljepšala live rock svirka na gitari. Bolji nedjeljni ručak ne bi mogli ni zamisliti 🤩

Desert je bio odličan!

Želim napomenuti da je recenzija za uslugu i ugođaj. Usred ponedjeljka na Sljemenu gdje je u restoranu bio jedan stol polu pun konobarica me obavijetila da ukoliko sjednemo unutra moramo naručiti hranu. Sjela sam s prijateljicom vani prije toga i naručile smo piće od njih. Dio koji renoviraju još nije spreman za sjesti i zagrijati se a terasa na otvorenom je za ljude koji neće jesti bez obzira što je restoran prazan.. usred tjedna.. Katastrofalan pristup gostima s politikom restorana.

The food at Kućica Sljeme is the best! I was so happy with my meal. They have lots of choices, and everything is super tasty. I tried some of the local food, and it was delicious. They also have great options if you don't eat meat.The view from the restaurant is also amazing. You can see the whole city, and it's very beautiful. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. I really recommend this restaurant. If you love good food, you should definitely go!
