A wonderful dining experience for me and my guest. The menu offerings and atmosphere were excellent. Food was very well prepared. Prices v portions were just and sufficient. Service was outstanding, patient, and prompt. This place appears to be a family business and a great family dining spot with a great park just across the street for a nice walk!

Let me start by saying, “Phenomenal!” I was in town for the weekend and I wanted to eat at a local favorite. I was definitely not disappointed by my date’s restaurant choice. The staff/service was terrific and the atmosphere was awesome! Mr. had the Red Fish and I chose the pork chop with apples and mashed potatoes. Oh my goodness! With no doubt in my mind, that was THE BEST pork chop that has ever passed my lips! Cooked to perfection, it was crispy and golden brown. The meat was tender, juicy and the flavor unmatched! The cooked apples and mashed potatoes were excellent compliments to the meat. I will recommend this restaurant to any and everyone and I look forward to being a patron here many more times! The end of a perfect day in a historical city of Madison Georgia. We ordered an appetizer of baked feta with pita, salmon, risotto, and pork chops with mashed potatoes and caramelized apples. It was excellent food I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that visits, Madison.

Loved it! Great feta cheese appetizer. Shrimp and grits is amazing. Lasagna is very good as well. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff.

This place has a lovely historic vibe and delicious food. I got the lamb burger and it was exceptionally tasty. I loved the chips too. They were very crisp and not greasy. There were five in our party and everyone enjoyed their entrees.

The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Well seasoned not salty. Service was splendidly provided by Daniel who was very attentive and knowledgeable.

First time there Thursday 2/24/2022 and got the pork chop - outstanding!!! Service was great and a very nice atmosphere (former ice house). Ricardo met us at the door, and came by the table after the meal. So, we went back for dinner again the next night (suggest reservations on Fri night). Again food and service was amazing. Highly recommend!

Ordered a burger. For the price I figured it was going to be pretty good. The bartender brought out what looked to be a sams or Costco type frozen patty. I didn’t even bite into it. Paid the bill and vowed to never go back. Bartender noticed we didn’t eat, and declined to go boxes. You would think they would of asked if everything was ok.

Not worth the trip to eat there. Food wasn't really hot or tasty and no bread, salad or anything with the pasta dinner at $15.

PORK CHOPS! The pork chops with fried apples are very special. Very. The ambiance and decor are lovely, the place is busy but not crowded, and the food is very good. I had the surf and turf but my partner had the like-no-other pork chops and he won. If you're in Madison, consider dining here.

The food was delicious I had the chicken parmesan and my mother had the fried fish. The Wait staff are very knowledgeable. And the owner comes around frequently to ask you how things are.

Excellent! Don't have time to do a full review right now but get the pork chop! Service was great, atmosphere was great, food was superb! And the young guys roaming around never let your glass get empty. One of our new favorites if in Madison.

We had to wait 10 min before we got a menu. Then had to walk up to the bar to get a drink. When they did bring menu it wasn’t nothing like the menu online no shrimp and Grits no fried grouper platter The menu was basically just pasta dishes. When waiter finally came he said he could get the fried grouper but no Cole slaw and didn’t offer a substitute for it. We finally came to an agreement. So now waiting on our food will post follow up after we eat. So far I am not impressed at all. I’m hooking the food will make up for the lack of service so far

We wanted to try something new out of our norm. We drove down to Madison in on a Friday evening and found this place. Briefly looked at the menus on yelp and decided to give it a shot. The place was very busy when we arrived around 7:00. They seated us without a reservation. We chose to site outside as the fall temps had arrived. I can’t find a bad thing to say about the place. We started with a bowl of the lobster bisque. It was very good. My wife ordered a shrimp pasta dish, I had a grilled pork chop, and the kids each had a pasta dish. The food was fantastic. Everything was cooked properly and served in a timely manor. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we received. With the appetizer, four meals, and four drinks our total came to $80. I should also mention that the service and atmosphere were outstanding. We will defiantly be back and look forward to trying some of the other dishes this place has to offer.

Best service we have had in a very long time! Ask for Andreas, and Lauren. We had Shrimp Santorini, Lasagna, Chicken Alfredo, Rib Eye steak and their Pork Chop. All was phenomenal, but the Pork Chop was the best, at least 1.5 inches thick with caramelized apples,and juicy. Yes I said juicy as well as being very flavorful! You could never go wrong eating here. Their old fashioned was the best I have ever had! Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Decided to try something new for my birthday. Staff was attentive and polite but food was a little overpriced for quality received. Sea Bass was had an extremely STRONG taste and unable to finish the dish. Daughter's pasta dish was decent, Husband ordered the special and it was ok. Really hoped to love the restaurant but sadly did not.

Celebrated birthdays here with a party of 12. First time dining here and will not be giving it another try. Pros-- Good appetizers, soup and salads. Pork Chop entree was wonderful. Attentive service. Cons-- Every other entree besides the pork chop, eleven of them, were either inedible or subpar. The chicken was like rubber, sirloin couldn't be chewed it was so tough and the filet had no flavor. $450 bill and most of the party went home hungry. We were really hoping for this to be another regular on our list of small local businesses to support. Unfortunately it will not.

Just got home from our first time at Riccardo's. We went with two other couples who have been many times. What a great dinner. The restaurant was packed with and included 3 very large groups. I was concerned about having to wait on a very busy kitchen but our meals arrived in a very timely manner. The best bone in pork chop I think I have ever had. They were able to meet my spouses special diet request seamlessly and she along with everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Our friends told us it has been like this every time for them. Consistent delicious food and friendly efficient service. We will be returning soon and often.

We typically hit the same spots in Madison but last night decided to try something different and really enjoyed it. We dinned outside and it really a beautiful little area.

From the hostess to the waitress - every one was not just professional and polite - they were cheerful and happy to be there. It was a wonderful experience and we will be back!

Absolutely AMAZING. Miss Angie & Mr. Ricardo were so helpful and polite. Miss Angie helped us decide our orders and waited on us with perfection!! We had the salmon, chicken fettuccine, rib eye, chocolate fudge cake w/ice cream, and key lime pie. One of most delightful dinners out ever!! Thank You Ricardo's Kouzzina!

Good menu, nice decor

This is a quaint little restaurant with a nice ambiance. The menu has a variety of choices. I was a little puzzled that there were TVs everywhere in the restaurant, not just in the bar, and they were all tuned to the news. The food was very okay. I was expecting a lot better.

Loved this restaurant! Our waitress are exceptionally informative about the entrees and history of the beautifully renovated ice house restaurant. The decorators attention to detail was noted. Great experience! Worth the drive from Athens.

This place is quaint and friendly. Food choices cover many nationalities and are prepared to order. A definite regular stop.

Food was ok. Nothing spectacular. Service very poor. Was not busy at all but Literally had to go walk up to get waitresses attention to get our check (she was conversing with her co-workers with back to us). Had to ask her to put leftovers in the take away containers for my elderly mom who didn't finish. Also.. what Italian restaurant makes you REQUEST bread at the table!? This is an Italian hospitality standard and should never have to be requested. We will not be back

Ricardo's was awesome! The food was excellent, with generous portions. The atmosphere is wonderful and spacious. The staff was VERY attentive and prompt, I cant praise the service enough to do them justice. Desert was outstanding. I havent been this satisied with a restaraunt in a while. Surprisingly, the bill was less than I expected, for a dining experience this good. I highly reccommend Ricardo's to anyone, even if you're not local, it is WORTH the drive.

The service was good, a/c was blowing like crazy.....won't sit there again. One meal was good, the second meal was not so good. The chicken was pre-cooked.....how can you get a meal in 5 minutes......but the texture of the chicken was definitely over cooked. Don't think we'll be back.

Prompt service, consistently good food with great choices. Nice surroundings. They have done an excellent job with their curbside delivery, so easy.
