Lovely food, great ambiance. I feel like I'm transported to Pakistan. The food goes well together and each dish (although small in appearance) is filling and complex in flavors. This restaurant will have you coming back for more. Portion guide: My recommendation 1 rice per 2 people 2-3 meat or vegetarian dishes If you are eating with more than 3 people, you may need naan or few more dishes to make up for it. Bonus: try the salty special lassi between mouthfuls! Very refreshing.

For dessert, Pakora & Halwa (made from fresh carrot), Masala Tea & Mango Lassi. This lovely restaurant has been operating since 2001, 20 years of authentic Pakistani cuisine. If you’re lucky you can ask the owner to share with you the rich history of Pakistani dishes. Plus all the celebrities who are regular customers here! By the way, Sheesh Mahal translates into ‘Mirror Palace’, fitting for its beautiful decor.

Wanted to try PAKISTANI food.. Warm ambiance , nice lighting ... Less people as we went around 12pm.. Recommended to try their butter naan , butter chicken masala and fish tikka and kheema masala. The butter chicken just melt with good yoghurt and ghee.. for dessert can try their almond kulfi..

Very nice combination of Pakistani, North Indian and Mughal Food. Food and service is no doubt excellent. Atmosphere is also very good for family gathering. But very expensive! They charge RM 8.90 for 1 Can of Soft drink such as Coke, Sprite ! Norman soft drink price outside is between RM 2.50-3.50 only. They add 10% service charge on total bill whereas price of the food is already very high. They should consider.

With some friends over, I ordered the lambshank briyani, the mutton Briyani, chicken briyani and vegetarian briyani. This was accompanied with chutney, some salad and some yoghurt. I'm glad I asked to pack some gravy as overall it was a tad dry. The briyanis were generally good. Although the chicken was a little tough.

Came to talk to the manager. Informed him that they need to build a proper exhaust outlet for the kitchen. Currently they have none and its kitchen exhaust is blowing into my property directly. After some complaint they covered it partially with an unused door. They can do better than this.

Food were ok. My disgruntled comment: The prices remained the same, but the portion of the food had been reduced significantly. I know it's difficult to keep the business afloat amid MCO, but the restaurant has lost "value for money". Well, I must bid an adieu to this restaurant. ہمیشہ کے لیے الوداع

Really tasty food. The garlic naan is a banger and the curries were all of good quality. Most of the reviews say its expensive however it's only around 4-8 rm more than other spots of this restaurant calibre.

Ordered through rider. Ordered palak paneer, but only 3 cottage cheese pieces. Also ordered lamb and beef, both not much meat, but RM30+ each. Pricy but small portion, not worth it. Better go elsewhere. Their quality of service is disappointing.

Visited this restaurant with my family today, we ordered the Lahori Lamb Biryani, Chicken Tikka Naan, Keema Naan and Chicken Karahi. ALL these dishes were SUPERB. For drinks I ordered the Mango Lassi. The Biryani is one of the best I've personally had in Malaysia. Excellent use of coriander and various other spices that really gives the Biryani that wonderful, flavorful taste. The lamb cubes were well cooked and just as flavorful and were also tender to the bite. The Chicken Tikka and Keema Naan were absolutely delicious, soft and warm and freshly baked (although it is a bit spicy if you have spice intolerance). The Chicken Karahi was recommended by the person who managed our table (I can't remember his name, but he did a great job and made us feel welcome!), so we ordered it, and I am glad he recommended that dish because it too was tasty, the chicken was nice and soft and flavored well with the the spices. The Mango Lassi I ordered was nothing but refreshing, perfect after the delicious meal. After the meal, the person managing our table recommended us the Masala Tea, so we ordered some, and wow, that was one good cup of Masala Tea, it wasn't' too sweet and you could really tell that they used the proper spices and brewed it well. In all, I would definitely recommend this place to any person who is curious and I will definitely be coming back again and trying the other items they had on their menu, but Biryani will definitely be part of that future order.

[got event ah?] 1) Overall - North Indian food, delivery option, food selection are butter chicken, palak paneer, mango lassi, masala tea, cheese naan, halwa and many more from Sheesh Mahal Restaurant 2) Vagetarian briyani - aromatic and flavourful, tasted great, a little oily for our liking 3) butter chick peas - creamy and thick sauce, chick peas were cooked to perfection, however delivery slipped half of the sauce out from the container

drove all the way from Klang to come eat at this stupid restaurant, arrived at 12.10pm and they told us to come back at 12.30pm because “kitchen is not open yet”. we asked if we could at least sit and look at the menu until 12.30 since we were already there but they literally chased us away. so rude to customers and if they don’t want business, why have “OPEN” sign at the door? just put “CLOSED” until 12.30pm susah sangat ke 🤦🏻‍♀️

This restaurant don't deserve any star. The food here is f...ing horrible. We had stomach issues after consuming the food. We ordered several meat dishes and all of them tasted like leather as it was so hard. The manager who took our order lured and cheated us into ordering their so call signature murgh dish which was entirely devastating. Its a disgrace for the Pakistani community for portraying such poor quality food as they have scrumptious food. I suggest for the chef and owner to change their job as they are well suited for washing the dishes. The owner and the chef are held responsible for this disgusting food that has burn a hole in my pocket. Beware of this daylight robbery happening in SS15 !

Another hidden gem in the suburb of SS 15, Subang Jaya. The interior could be old as 23 years ago, but their top-notch service, great Pakistani food with a variety of spices, will sure leave everlasting memories here. Come in between 3 pm to 6 pm you will have the whole restaurant to yourselves. Also, a complimentary Masala Tea on the house was a great surprise. Prawn Masala with Butter Naan was a highly recommended combination & with Mango Lassi to complete the meal. Pure heaven on earth. You paid for premium price & got what you paid for. No regrets.

Visited someone at SJMC. Then walked here for lunch. The Pudina Yogurt and Papadam are very good. Nasi Briyani (both lamb and chicken) are good. The butter chicken here has no kick for me.

Sheesh Mahal in SS15 exceeded all expectations, earning a well-deserved 5 stars from me. The Chicken Karahi was a flavor explosion – tender, succulent chicken cooked to perfection in a rich, aromatic blend of spices. The Malai Kofta was a delightful surprise, each bite revealing a harmonious mix of textures and flavors. The highlight, however, was the Basket of Naans – a crispy, golden assortment that complemented the dishes impeccably. The warm and inviting ambiance, coupled with prompt and friendly service, added to the overall stellar experience. Sheesh Mahal has truly set a benchmark for culinary excellence in SS15. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience!

Amazing food! If you're choosing between this and Big Singh a few doors down, come here. Order their Palak Paneer, Lamb Rogan Josh, and Butter Chicken Their Bendhi Masala was a shockingly amazing discovery too! If you have a sweet tooth, their Gulab Jamun dessert is very very good. Haven't had north indian food as good as this. Ever.

Extremely poor quality food. Chicken was smelling & we had to throw away whole portion. Upon calling & complaining them, they just casually took it & told they are serving everyone the same food. Pathetic food...please don't order from this restaurant to avoid any unpleasant or bad experience after paying exorbitant price. Definitely not worth it..

We got here rather late for dinner, all due to the hassle of trying to get parking at dinner hour, so we got here at about a quarter to nine, and they close at half past. We had the Lamb Swati, Chicken Jalfrezi, Kashmiri and garlic naan, and paratha. Because they were rushing, the food came to us piping hot. The lamb hadn't time to soak up the seasoning and it tasted like they just chucked in the lamb after preparing the gravy. Also this dish tasted too much of condensed milk. So that was a letdown. The Jalfrezi too wasn't very distinguished, the stir fry quality didn't come out too well and there wasn't much of a kick. The Kashmiri naan was similarly not of the fluffy sort, I've had better at another restaurant in the same row which I shall not name. I ordered the sweet lassi, which lacked the essential yogurt flavour, it seemed the sweetness had overwhelmed it. That essential sourish flavour was missing, with the result that I did not quite enjoy it. But the portions were generous though. I couldn't comment on the dessert since I hadn't time to try it. I may come again to try the biryani and the dessert but the first encounter with the food was not so pleasing. Prices were on the higher side so I wasn't expecting this sort of mediocre, pedestrian taste. That was the thing, it was unremarkable! Perfectly passable but undistinguished. I wasn't at all surprised that only two tables were occupied when I was there. Service was excellent, and we had a most pleasant and affable server. If service had been poor, I might even have given it a single star. But as it is, it gets two stars, three if I'm feeling exceedingly generous.

The food overall are very tasty and reflect true Arabic cuisine. The garlic cheese naan is very good.

  • 1/5 Alan K. 1 year ago on Google
The worst tasting food. Ordered a curry mutton and a tandoori chicken. Mutton curry tasted like the meat was boiled and put into a pot of gravy, it was very bland. As for the tandoori chicken, most mamak’s way better tandoori than them. On another note good indian restaurants use butter/ghee for their food, this restaurant uses margerine and it’s reflected in the poor taste in their food. On top of all this, the waiters don’t understand english that well, got our order wrong twice. If you are looking for good Indian food just go to Big Singh Chapati, just a few doors away. They have good food and better pricing. Do yourself a favor, save your money and spend it elsewhere

Went for a ramadhan buffet. Was surprised at the low price for a Pakistani moghul cuisine . The spread was very modest ...reflective of the price. The mutton dish was good while the rest was average.

Very good authentic Pakistani cuisine. Their Gulab Jamun made from fresh milk are the best in here I have found so far. The environment is pretty cozy, decent, calm and not noisy plus the staff is very polite and respectful (not rushing running shouting) not at all like the usual other places. All in one because even the prices are very reasonable for that type of food made with so much care supervision and love in it. The best thing which i love the most is parking, just like back home, we can park infront of the restaurant and go in have a good dinner lol. This type of convenient parking is pretty hard to find here.

My family and I have been coming here for nigh on 20 years and will continue to do so well into the future. The food is amazing and I love the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. If you plan on visiting, definitely order the Palak Paneer and Mutton Rogan Josh which are specialities of the place. On busier days, the food may take some time coming out of the kitchen and some people may find it on the pricier side, but all of these pale in comparison to the quality of the food.

Had Chicken Biryani, kadai chicken and garlic naan today 1.Chicken Biryani cost 26RM , rice was aromatic however it felt bit old, might be cooked more than 12 hours ago , chicken on the biryani was big chunk of tasteless fiber pieces 2. Kadai chicken was ok, chicken was kind of good but the onion in the gravy was undercooked which ruined the whole dish 3. Garlic naan was like eating the base of a pizza. Definitely don't deserve even 1 out of 10 Totat bill was 65RM and frankly it's not worth . The behavior of the owner was very good, but the food ruined the intention to visit this place again You are allowed to charge more, but pls maintain a basic taste of your food
