Thought of trying this cafe when i initially wanted to head to leaf & co which is right opposite of this place. Walked into the cafe and no one serves us whatever, we look for our own seat. First we’re seated at the large wooden table in the middle towards the end of the cafe near vintage piano. Then the smell of toilets/drainage rushed us to switch to another table in the middle but USB doesn’t seem to work, so we switched again and we informed the staff and he showed us a troubled face and said yes now he needs to do extra work and change the order. Wow that was a surprise to me. I have alrdy ordered via a self service platform and then now you’re saying this? Have you calculated on how much cost you saved? I don’t think i paid to deserve this service tho. Anyway, we have alrdy placed our order so just went with it. Both of us ordered a Iced Mocha (RM14), Choc Frappe (RM16) & a Waffle served with Valrhona Chocolate Ice Cream (RM25) via Beepit QR Scan. Iced Mocha was really small despite price charged a good RM14. Can see from the picture for the difference. Colour and tasted exactly like Iced Latte, so i brought the Mocha to bar/counter to reconfirm my order. Disappointingly, barrister responded me with the “SOP” of his formula. That was a Iced Mocha drink. Barrister mentioned i can upgrade it to use “Premium Chocolate” to make it more aromatic, so that it doesn’t taste just like Ice Latte. He also mentioned RM14 for a cuppa Iced Mocha in Vintage 1988 Cafe actually uses low quality chocolate. I seriously don’t understand. So much profit in there and such a small cup! I seriously encourage them to improve on this issue. The Choc Frappe that costs RM16, only +RM2 and i gets a whole cuppa “Premium Choc” along with some shaved chocs on top. Can’t take it. The explanation is unacceptable. Valrhona Choc Ice cream was strong but abit too sweet, but waffle was under cooked and soggy. Just not up to my personal liking and did not meet my expectation. I personally would not recommend a visit here. There’s definitely much better cafe that offers better quality of coffee/ desserts and services with the same price elsewhere.

The vibe in this place is amazing. The prices is fair for what we got. 20 ringgit for that burger but the quality of it is top quality.

Ingredients are fresh the prawns are succulent and tasty as well. But i am still feeling hungry after my meal. Not the best burger in town.

You just have to scan the qr code on the table to order and pay online. We went on a weekday and before lunchtime so it wasn’t crowded.
