A wide variety of food and drinks were freeflow for ladies, and it was an awesome time with my friends. The environment was luxurious and staff were attentive to our needs (just that it took few tries to order the wet towel, the system had a bug because i had to repeatedly key in my orders and ended up calling the waiter for it). I also ordered the chargeable Cocktail Heist series drink ( inspired by the Netflix series ‘Money Heist’); I picked the Tokyo drink and that was some really good stuff. Would have given 5 stars if SOP was complied properly. 80% of the staff and waiters there were wearing the mask below the nose, or even worse, on the chin without covering both nose and mouth. Some of the guests were also walking around tables without wearing a mask. With the recent hike in cases in KL around the KLCC/ KL Sentral area, and also the fact that JIS is a closed, crowded space, I hope your team takes this seriously to protect both your staffs and your guests.

Tons of veg food options, the ambience is nice and its a very classy establishment. The staff are incredibly nice and friendly, the pricing is also very affordable. Ladies pay a one time entrance fee and any premium orders incur extra charges. Even if you want to have a solo lady night, I would recommend it. The place is safe and the staff are ready and on stand by in case of emergency. Shout out to Jen, and the person that explained the rules to me. Very gentle and attentive.

A premium Japanese Bar in KL. They have a cover charge of RM 48 for women and 72 for men for 1 hour. A good section of non-premium Drinks and food can be covered under this as they offer them for free. The premium drinks and food are payable in addition to the cover charge. Their service is very quick. The ambiance is good. The selection of beers were average though.

If you wanna experience something different you can come here. It is hidden place as not so famous. But foods are real Japanese taste. Service is great 😊 You can use it as event birthday celebration. Fancy decorations. Unlimited foods and drinks 🍺

One of the best and most comfortable bar place I've been to in KL. They have taken the entire 3rd floor, interior was super beautiful and cozy. There was a chinese live band going on until 12am. I was welcome by friendly staffs and served by the general manager David. He gave us an excellent service by helping me to select the suitable cocktail that I wanted and go to the extend to made it special for us. The only problem we had was the menu interface, there's too many food and drinks selection to choose on and there's no pictures or descriptions to indicate the details of the the food or drinks, so you had no idea what you want to order base on ONLY the name of the items. I hope they could improve on this matter, make the menu simple and easy to people to know what is what. Other than that I'm satisfied with the visit, price is reasonable given such amazing service and environment to socially hangout with your love ones. The rest rooms are very clean and the toilet seats are advanced like the ones that's being used in Japan, has warm heating and many other functions.

A little quiet, which is great if you're just there to hang out with your friends . Things went downhill when some of the owner (from what I know) started singing really old Japanese songs when they got drunk. Food offered within the RM88/RM48 are mostly bites. Drinks offered are pretty varied though. From my understanding, RM48 is a promotion price if the ladies socialize, and RM88 is the normal price if we don't. I might go back, depending on the occasion and objective of being there.

Very disappointed with the hospitality and service of this place. First I called to make a reservation for me and my friends , and when we got there all the way from subang we were denied entry simply because I didn’t have a passport. I completely wasted my money , I was humiliated and made to stand outside , and I don’t know if it’s because me and my friends are black. But I will never return. Thanks for nothing.

This is a supercalifragilisticexpialidociousgreat japanese bar and a very unique social lounge bar to chill with some girls for alcohol and well-crafted cocktails in a nice atmosphere. They serve premium cocktail & wine as well as japanese foods & local food. Food portion and the taste are quite satisfied. Overall the vibes and the live music bar performance was great, comfort & enjoyable. Highly recommended bar for the night life in KL.

Having a hygiene issue, a lot of baby cockrosches. For the buffet, limited food selection, but a variety selection of mocktails, cocktails, wine, etc. So, if you are hunting for alcoholic drinks, then it will be the best place for you.

They do not honor their rm198 free flow buffet and drinks. Serving time take up to 50 min after order. Dish like oyster and salmon sashimi also limited and order is ignored and cancel without inform… bad experience

STAR Bar by JIS KL | Japanese Dining Bar is one of my favourite places in Kuala Lumpur. My partner and I frequently visit here as we find the all you can eat and drink special one of the best in the city. They provide fun table games to play and have chargers for your electronics as well, and rotating nightly themes such as family night and live band night. At the time of this review, you are allotted 3 hours and the pricing is 248 MYR for gentlemen and 148 MYR for ladies.

Hands down the best cocktail I have ever had in KL. The sage and salt, sugar baby and perfect old fashion is my all time favourite from Remedy. The bar tenders are absolutly expert in what they do , and you can feel it with the taste of any coctail I have ordered, great decor and atmosphere.Truly amazing and will definitely visit again soon.

At first I went there for a drink, but the food at this place is better than most Japanese restaurants, so now I go there to eat sometimes too. The raw fish was fresh and the tempura was very satisfying. Yakitori is also recommended! Although not pictured, the udon and soba dishes are also really delicious. Personally, I am most satisfied with the high quality of service for alcoholic beverages, such as beer being served in cold cups at the appropriate temperature and amount of foam, and cocktails being served in ice shapes and glasses appropriate for each drink. In Malaysia, you won't find many hotel restaurants offering food of this quality.

The buffet is good. Fresh sashimi. Environment is nice too.. Just that the table is not suitable for dining. More to chill and chat setting.
