A nice Indian restaurant opened here during the pandemic. Very nice deco with seating available inside or outdoor as well. Place is spacious and easy to move around. A lot of food choices and some Indian candies and cakes. Went for their Briyani rice and the portion is big. Price is reasonable and staff are friendly as well. Good place to have meals.

My first visit to India Gate (Subang). Good ambience with calm surrounding. Food is fantastic and big portion too. Very reasonable price. 4 of us with 2 non-vege thali set and 2 ala carte menu including 4 beverages cost us RM99. That’s an average of RM25/pax! Love their butter chicken masala, taste is sky rocketing. Staff Anand & Subramani were very polite and accommodating. Very prompt response from both starting from beginning to end. Definitely will return!

I love the huge spread for banana leaf rice! Fish curry gravy is superb, chilli mushroom and chicken are nice! Masala tea is so good, classy environment, good service, dessert is delicious! I would bring guests to enjoy the food here!

Get bored on Chinese, Japanese, Korean cuisines? You may try out this South & North Indian cuisine located in AEON BiG SS16 Subang Jaya. Due to the table inside is full, they arrange to seat at somewhere outside (indoor) the restaurant. It would be good if can seat inside the restaurant. Feel really welcome at the moment ask for a table. They serve us with a welcome drinks & snacks the moment we seat down. They got plenty of choices in their menu, don’t worry if you are not familiar with Indian cuisine, just ask the staff to give some recommendation based on your preference. Bamboo Mutton Biriyani, Butter Chicken, & Garlic Cheese Naan taste ok but nothing very outstanding. I would highly recommend Gobi 65 which is deep fried cauliflower with special spices. The texture was just nice & addicted with the taste. The onion was so sweet! Meen Pollichathu was recommended by the staff & it turn out surprise on the taste which come with zesty gravy on top of the fried fish wrap by a banana leaf. In conjunction of Deepavali, 1 of the staff also offer to draw Mehndi for my sister. It’s a good way to let us experience the Indian culture. Last but not least, thanks so much to the staff who serve us Lahiru Shan. He was the on serve us since the beginning, he recommended some nice dish, keep us inform how long the dish would served, refill water without asking, & constantly check with us is everything ok. They accept Credit Card payment. Would I come back again? Definitely yes.

It is a great Indian restaurant where you can give a thumbs up. I was having a great dinner there with friends from India. Food quality is good where they closely resemble the same taste as the original from India. Their service was good. Very friendly waiters with prompt response. If you are celebrating a Birthday, the restaurant staff are going to create a great ambiance by performing you a song. Price is slightly higher, but they do offer valued meals during lunchtime where you shouldn't missed. Parking is easily available inside the AEON Mall.

Had very high expectations from this restaurant so went there to celebrate my birthday but have to say that it fell quite short of our expectations. I thought they would have one of the best food and ambience for Indian restaurants in Malaysia. Food and ambience both left us disappointed. It's also located in the sad mall. Some staff were sleeping on the tables inside the mall area near restaurant entrance. What a warm welcome right? Nandu crab rasam was excellent though and kulfis were mind-blowing. Chicken malai kebab was highly disappointing as it was hard and had very big pieces. Mutton Rogan Josh and Butter chicken were also disappointing. Chicken Biryani was soggy (chicken piece also too big with bone) and didn't have good taste. Meetha Pan was also very small. Ambience was very ordinary and they didn't make my birthday any special even after informing them. No birthday discounts as well. The best part was the young waiter from Bangladesh (Shanto if I am not wrong) who connected so well and played all the time with my 1 year old boy so that we can have the food. Kudos to him while other waiters had grim faces. May visit again only to have kulfis and nandu rasam & for my little one to meet Shanto but overall disappointed

Situated inside Aeon Big Subang Jaya ,restaurant situated at ground floor , I took the escalator up from parking , service was attentive , we had the garlic and butter naan 🫓 which was good 👍🏻, goes well with butter chicken ( the taste didn’t hit the right note comparing with YouTuber butter chicken recipe was delicious ) 65 the fried cauliflower and palak paneer was mediocre in taste .

My 1st ever experience at India Gate. We went on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Upon walking in we were greeted with a pleasant ambience with the cultural deco. We ordered the thaali set, mutton/chicken briyani & mutton rogan josh. Me personally took the thaali set, and absolutely loved the flavours of each mini dishes. One of the best mutton rogan josh i have tasted. As for dessert we ordered pistachios kulfi and gulab jamun; was totally amazing. Service was good and fast. Looking forward to try more menus at this branch and might venture out to Klang branch as well

The foods were so delicious and the service was great. We enjoyed our lunch here. Sai Teja suggested nice foods and also help us to celebrate our sister’s birthday over here. We enjoy the entire day here. Thank you everyone 🙌🏻

Our second visit as the we were so impressed by the food and service, we had to come back again. A huge shoutout to our waiter Mr Sai Teja, who was so attentive to our every need. He even remembered us on our 2nd visit! We ordered the bamboo mutton biryani which was very fragrant and the mutton was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The chicken tikka tandoori was a tad dry compared to our first visit. The matar paneer was very flavourful, with generous chunks of paneer. Despite its colour, the Bru coffee packed some punch, and its taste different from your typical Nescafe, definitely worth a try for coffee lovers. For dessert, we ordered gulab jamun and halwa. If you have a sweet tooth like we do, order the former. All in all, India Gate has become our go-to Indian restaurant in Subang. The food is amazing, but the service is what makes this place truly memorable.

Had dinner here and the Indian food tasted good! I wanted to have the banana leaf set meal but was told it is only available from 11am to 3pm daily- will definitely try it the next round. The Brinjal and Chicken Vindaloo are flavourful and goes well with the steam rice & naan. Price slightly on the high side but it’s nice to have a good North Indian in Subang area.

2nd visit on 17August 2022 Bamboo veg briyani, mushroom mutter masala, chappati , garlic naan and fresh milk tea was overall good! Today service was fast and efficient. Only 1 issue, please ensure All your staffs wear their mask. There were some staff including Kitchen staff not wearing any form of mask.🙏🏼 Nowadays, my family n I usually will not patronise any enclosed restaurant if we see the staff not wearing mask. 1st Went on a Sunday, 31July. Service was a bit slow that day even though we were the 1st customer to arrive on the dot at 11.00am. It was about a good 10mins+ before the next customer. Banana leaf non veg set was ok The ‘Resam’ served was cold, so requested Mr Shabir the manager for a hot ‘Resam’ Overall the food was tasty, spices flavourful! The Indian Gate Garlic Cheese Naan was really good.👍🏼 Bamboo mutton briyani was delicious!👍🏼 Butter massala paneer was too sweet for our liking. Chicken bharta calcutta was nice but a little too salty. But somehow the Thali set was a little short compared to that which I had tasted in Chennai. Still looking for a Thali meal similar to that I had in Chennai at the Khandani Rajdhani restaurant. Fresh milk tea was nice but, even though requested for ‘less sugar’, was still a little too sweet. The fresh milk masala tea was good.

Great food, reasonably priced, good service. Must try their tandoori chicken rice, Simply great 👍🏼 Mr Subramani service is good. Recommended!

Amazing location and parking is accessible. Food is definitely authentic in comparison to what you have in the UK. The portions are good and the service is friendly as well. One of the things I would highlight is the drinks are relatively small in size. For the price it should be larger.

I came here after saw the rating in Google is very high. Suprisingly it’s true. My family really enjoyed it. We had both North and South Indian set and very satisfiying. Restaurant atmosphere looks like a fine dining but actually the price is very reasonable except for the beverages because there are many items in the set. Very difficult to find a place like this in Malaysia. Service by the waiters are also excellent. Surely a place to recommend!

Had a good lunch here Tried the vegetarian thali, and it was a flavor explosion. My friends went for the chicken biryani, and they loved it too. Good vibes, great food – definitely coming back! 🍛🌶️

Had a lovely meal with friends this afternoon. The bamboo mutton briyani was delicious. We also had bamboo chicken briyani which was good too but the mutton one was superb. The thin naans were good but I prefer the thicker like bread version but my friend told me they are from different regions. Masala tea was ok but I prefer the masala tea in Bangsar branch. The kufir was delicious.

Authentic Indian cuisine with plentiful of choices. The food was good but the atmosphere was like a coffee shop. It was quite Noisy during dinner time. Plus their staff do not really understand your needs, they just hard sell the pricey dishes. Never again.

They serve northern foods mostly, and for me taste wise, the foods are quite good and delicious. The ambience also quite nice, well kept and also decorated with Indian motifs makes it stand out compared to the rest of the shop in the Mall. Only that, if order additional foods later than your initial order, it kind of took time, which you have to wait. The staffs are quite professional. Located with AEON Big Subang Jaya, visible from the main road.

Great place to have Indian food. The food was very tasty and enjoyable. Although food took some time to come due to peak hour, their service was still very good and even the manager came to apologize. Commend them for having such attentive service on top of having delicious food.

Free WiFi. Patio seating available. The main dining room can be very crowded. There is additional seating inside the mall area. The water is very warm.

Superb Indian Cuisine especially within Subang. Bamboo Briyani is amazing and flavorful, Chicken Tikka is also tender and one of the best I've tried. Also do order their very fragrant Masala Tea. Service is commendable and place is very clean.

Enjoyed the garlic cheese naan, butter chicken & Rogan Josh mutton. Don't really like the roll and the platter though. But really good service from Shanto & Avijit!

Finally got to visit India gate branch in subang , the seats were limited inside but service was top notch ✨ Their menu had so many options to choose from . Since it was dinner time decided to order light by having cheese naan , mutton keema , chicken lollipop and some capati . For drinks I went for vanilla milkshake and ginger chai for my mum . The milk shake was really creamy and yummy 💯 Their serving time was really fast as well as the food was delicious . Really enjoyed everything I ordered and they even asked feedback upon finishing our meal . Very attentive gesture ✅ Total bill came up to RM104 but was certainly worth it , certainly will revisit soon . 💰

Chilli Chicken 3/5 (Lot of tomato ketchup and the actual North Indian flavor is missing) 3. Hakka Veg noodles - 2/5 (Taste avg, Quantity less) 4. Chicken Lollipop 0/5 (Lollipop not cooked, Meat hard to shred from bone, Lollipop with skin and dipped in ketchup sauce.I can only taste sauce. Threw away the whole box. Never ordering again from here. Users who are rating food taste and quality best must either not know what North Indian food taste like. Food taste here is nowhere close to good but below average.

25/5/2023 - had my dinner here today. We ordered chicken briyani, mushroom gravy w/ steamed rice and double omelette. My critic will be on the mushroom gravy, the portion for the mushrooms does not justify the price. As attach you can see in the pics the mushroom plate is smaller than my hand size and I paid RM18.90! In the dish there is basically 4 button mushroom which have been cut into 4 pieces. I don’t see much of ingredients in the dish for it to be RM18.90. The mushroom gravy dish is made super spicy even though not requested, my friend could not finish or even enjoy the dish. A waste of money. A rating of 2/5.
