Wisdom Tooth Extraction Experience (with Dr. Celyn Gun) Wisdom tooth extraction process can be very daunting, especially if a surgery is required. A surgery was required for me because I had a tooth growing horizontally (unfortunately) as opposed to my other wisdom teeth that grows vertically. What was worse was that the root of my tooth was close to the nerves - which was even more concerning for extraction. Fortunately, the 3D X-Ray (also done at Smile Life SS15) had a cross-section view that showed a healthy distance away from the nerves. Stepping into the clinic, I scheduled for a consultation before the extraction process. Dr. Celyn patiently explained to me her perspective of my X-Ray images. She provided insights on the methodology, duration and cost of the process. However, the most valuable part of the consultation was when she shared her experiences extracting wisdom teeth for other patients. I will say that her experiences was spot-on when translating over to my extraction process. Throughout the extraction process, she was also extremely mindful of my well-being and pain tolerance. She patiently catered to my needs throughout the entire process despite me squirming at almost every extraction checkpoints - which made the process extremely bearable as a patient. To better give you an idea of how comfortable my experience was - my plan of extracting one wisdom tooth turned to four removal at the end of the consultation. The consultations showcased her strong repertoire when performing wisdom tooth extractions. It was definitely a stress-reliever putting my trust in her. In a nutshell, I can say that you are in great hands with Dr. Celyn. Your teeth however, will not be happy with how good she is. Side note: I am attaching my X-Ray image of my horizontally grown wisdom tooth to share with the community. I realised that having a picture as a reference better helps in learning about our experiences. Dr. Celyn successfully removed this tooth for me.

First time here and had the best dental check up experience here with Dr.Joyce and Dr.Bob. Very well explained treatment plan and non-pushy at all. First time having scaling and filling with no pain. Very clean clinic environment and well adapted SOP. They have all the nurses treating you alone so you will feel like a king/queen!

Dr.Gun is very professional and skilled dentist. My whole scaling treatment was done very smooth and don’t feel any unease after treatment. Staffs are friendly and helpful from registration to payment. Price is reasonable as well. They even have reserved carpark as well which I don’t need to struggle find parking in such busy area and able to park with ease. Will definitely visit again for my next checkup!

Definitely would recommend to my friends and family. Excellent service provided by Dr Alex and Dr Celyn, the whole treatment procedure is thorough and almost painless! Very impressive and the price is rather reasonable compared to the rest of the dental clinic in Subang/PJ area. My first time at this dentist, it was for a dental emergency and was not far from my home. I liked that they are open on Sundays, unlike most dental clinics. And upon arriving, the receptionist was very kind and helpful. Sitting down at the waiting area, the environment made me feel alot calmer. In the treatment room, I met Dr Leng who was super awesome and kind. Listened to my explanations and provided recommendations and solutions. He explained well and thoroughly giving me peace of mind. Shared with me the cost of all the treatment before proceeding and emphasising the important ones to do first. The procedure also, always ask if I was in any pain or discomfort and enjoyed seeing his relationship with his nurses. I can tell it’s a good working environment. Overall, highly recommend this dental clinic! Total damage was only RM300+ for wisdom teeth extraction and scaling & polishing.

I have always had a phobia of visiting the dentist since I was a little kid. But recently, I had to have a tooth extracted, Smile Life Dental made me feel comfortable and at ease, even though I was still nervous. My dentist Dr Celyn was very understanding and took the time to explain everything to me in detail, and she made sure that I understood what was going to happen. The extraction itself was quick and painless. The dentist was very gentle, and she made sure that I was comfortable throughout the procedure. After the extraction, they gave me clear instructions for aftercare. I followed their instructions, and had a smooth recovery. I am so glad that I faced my fear and had the tooth extraction.

The clinic environment and overall atmosphere are clean and tidy It was my first time to go for a routine check-up and teeth cleaning. The doctor answered some of my questions in great detail and gave me a lot of suggestions. It’s a great dental experience after a long time, highly recommended 🥰
