This short-eats/pastry/full-meal shop is a hidden gem. They own their dedicated bakery and all short-eat items are freshly baked, right from the oven! Tasty and quality food and is a much needed rest area for anybody travelling further North of Sri Lanka or is coming back from the North. However don't expect too much from restroom facilities. On the flip side, they are free.

A place having a great view. There is a paddy in one side and a lake in the other side. The lake was empty by the time I visited there. But still the bank of the bank was also giving a magnificent view. A few statues of Sri Lankan gods were crafted by the side of the shop under a tree. The combination of all of them made my mind relax there...

Karuwalagaswewa 24-hour open "So smart pastry shop's" is an oasis for coffee lovers like us! The fresh cow milk coffee here is simply unmatched. Every visit from Puttalam becomes a delightful journey for our taste buds. The consistent quality and the round-the-clock service make this place a must-visit for anyone passing through. Done a pit-stop here in the midnight. Washrooms are not cleaned in last decades. Food is also okay, The tea is delicious.

Foods are good but other facilities must be improved. Highly recomend other than other places. 👍

It is one of the food stall in Puttalam. Still under construction. They provide bakery items like bun, sausage bun, egg bun, fish bun, cake friend rice. Soft drinks also. It is ok in the mid night snacks

A great place with a variety of sweet and savoury snacks, tea and plane tea hot hot at a very competitive price. Management and staff are so good to sell the items effectively and clean and clear the tables as and when each customer finishes. They have ladies and gents rest rooms fairly clean for the use of hundreds of customers who use it around the clock.

A place where tour busses stop to let passengers have a meal and a visit to the washroom. As the restaurant has to serve many people within a short time, service is minimum and food is effectively served. There is a fine variety of foods and shorties, and the milk tea is good. The first to order gets it in proper cups, while the rest get plastic cups. The former is the best.

I visited this restaurant on my way to Colombo by bus. The restaurant was very neat and toilet facilities were also available which is unbelievably well maintained. Food was very good with lot of variety. Everything made Infront of us even the bakery items. This was the best place ever I visited on the way to Colombo.

A medium scale village eatery with a nice view on to its side. The place is situated about 6Km passing Puttalam. The restaurant has quite a decent amount of space, but is not very organized. The food is alright. The place also could be cleaner. Not a lot of staff available, hence the issue. But, overall, you can have a quick bite and move on.

Excellent quality food. Opens at 11PM. If you are looking for a quick snack while traveling during night in this area this is the place. Breakfast buffet and lunch buffet also available .

Very good customer service and also wanna say there is very special thing..hot hot rolls and egg cutlets.. have to try those..and also they got fresh milk..overall the best experience i ever had at out of colombo..also i think they opened for 24 hours😋 every time we go there they served us that hot special thing🤗
