If ever in the Puyallup area, British Bites is a must! Awesome theme afternoon tea (below Valentine’s Day afternoon tea). 48 hour reservation required and are quick to respond reservation through email.

I love this store. Every weekend yea parties and good freshly baked food. Fun selection of hard to find British chocolate and sauce mixes. Great place to find Jaffa cakes

Had the chicken and mushroom pasty with a salad and it was great. My compliments to the chef! Service was great. Only odd thing was the store was empty but I understand they are working on getting it back up. Overall a pleasant experience will definitely be back soon.

A very cute little restaurant/shop/bakery that sells English foodstuffs! I had their crispy Tikka Masala Pasty with a salad and a pot of Tetley tea, as well as an orange scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream. Afterwards, I perused their store of various English candies and treats and found several that will make great gifts! Finally, right before I left, I had (what I think was) a marzipan tart with blackcurrant filling topped with a candied cherry. (I'm not 100% sure what kind of tart it was since my lunch date ordered them, but that's what it tasted like!) As an aside, they also serve a full afternoon tea; we didn't get it this time, but it will happen eventually! Overall, this store has a great selection of foods rarely seen in the US that are well-made and reasonably-priced, all in a very English package. There's something for everyone at British Bites!

Sadly, this place has been a bit of a letdown these last few times that I have visited. The grocery part is 90% bare shelves and the few things left in the bakery case were just ok. We tried lemon Mini Vicki’s, tarts and millionaire shortbread. We went in for Walker’s crisps, toffees, scones, onion turnovers, various candies and Marmite. They didn’t have any of them! I saw their signs that mentioned logistic issues, but other stores around do have these items. Plus, many are available from online retailers for decent prices. You might need to buy them there and hike the prices up. People shopping here aren’t hunting for bargains. They are willing to spend a bit for nostalgia or something new to them. I long for your fully stocked shelves.

Extra cute, great service and food. If you are looking for a taste of Britain, this is it. One of the few afternoon tea options in the area.

We got the ham and cheese quiche, sausage roll and cucumber and cream cheese sandwich. The food was delicious. I got the Buckingham Palace tea and it was great. Our total came out to $26. The service was impeccable. The little shop in there has British chocolates and chips. Its decorated with some British pop culture including Harry Potter and Dr. Who. All in all I will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.

We were doing a tea party themed staff celebration at work and I bought some bulk treats through British Bites. Lori was fast to respond and was super helpful on what each treat would be and the cost of each. I completely blanked while looking at dates and accidentally gave her the date of the celebration instead of the day I needed to pick up (day before). When I arrived, they were able to still accommodate me (with all the same goodies I ordered) and even helped me to the car with the boxes. Everyone loved the treats and when I was waiting in the store, the atmosphere was super cozy and the service was wonderful. I will definitely be back and would encourage anyone in the area to stop in and try some of their food!

Lovely little place in Puyallup with a menu comprising British staples like pasties, bangers and mash, Welsh rarebit, etc. The food is great. They also have treats like cherry bakewells, mini Victoria sponges, and millionaire shortbread. The staff is friendly, and appropriately cheeky if you initiate banter (I am something of a smart aleck). That makes it fun. 😁 My only complaint is they used to stock a lot of British shelf products for purchase, and the cupboards are pretty bare. That could be a supply issue outside of their control, but was a bit disappointing. Still, absolutely worth a stop for all they do have. You just can't find a decent pasty, and they have em. I wish I lived next door!

Such a great place to visit! We came in for authentic afternoon tea and loved everything. The atmosphere is so calming and feels like you’re in London. Such a great place to chat and visit with loved ones. They offered almond milk for creamer which was a great vegan alternative.

Such a fun place, I came here with some friends to have a light bite and tea. We ordered spiced chai, coronation chicken, hot pudding and a nutella sandwich. She accidentally spilled cream on my friend and I as we tried to fit into a small table. She refunded his order and offered to pay for dry cleaning if needed. We enjoyed the space and how sweet the folks are here! We will be back. I’m excited to try more dishes!

Had lunch there recently. Been going here for a few years and sadly the magic is gone. The scones have gotten smaller while the prices keep going up ($3.50 for a tiny scone and $2.50 for about a teaspoon of jam & clotted cream). For comparison, these scones are probably half the size of every scone I had in England. They used to serve delicious loose leaf tea and now just a regular tea bag ($5.50). Very disappointed because we used to love going there. Not really worth the trip from Tacoma now. Overall, for a very simple lunch I spent $28 - for one person! (including tip). I really wish they could do better, I am going to miss this place.

This is a lovely spot to stop in for a tea and sandwich. Everything is made fresh in house and you can tell. Highly recommend the pasties!
