Think
America.
Think
Puyallup.
Pioneer
Park
is
as
it
should
be:
flowers
and
lawns,
statues
and
history,
generations
and
glory
to
celebrate
freedom.
I'm
so
impressed
with
the
wholesomeness
of
this
park
I'm
about
drawn
to
tears.
To
watch
seniors
amble
gingerly,
barefoot
across
the
lawns
while
watching
grandkids
shout
with
delight
at
the
splashpark,
to
see
accessible
art
in
statues
and
words,
to
rest
on
a
shaded
bench
next
to
fragrant
roses
while
remembering
those
who
fought
for
freedom,
it
is
all
here.
American
goodness
and
joy,
American
connection
and
celebration
of
life
and
of
us.
All
of
us.
Notes:
Parking
available
at
the
park
or
after
6
pm
or
so
at
the
city
employee
lot
next
to
the
park.
Plenty
of
paved
walkways,
a
playground,
many
statues
and
plaques,
gorgeous
flowers
in
summer,
and
good
people
all
around.
