This place is heaven on earth . People here are very warm and welcome to tourists . Locals always try to keep their surrounding clean . The camp tents are available at very cheap rates from 600 to 1000 rupees and they will arrange bonfire on some little extra charges around 200 rs . Alcohol is available almost in every shop here . Food is also cheap . The amenities are very good here . We can do boating , kayaking and cliff jumping etc etc adventurous activities here . Definitely this must be the must visit place in your bucket list .

I am excited about camping at this place. I enjoyed 2 nights stay at a tent on the bank of the Dawki River. One guy named Eliyas been with us and gave full support on all activities and dining. Excellent home type food available, Safe for stomach, Cost effective.

Good experience. We were three ladies and worried about our safety. However seeing their hospitality all insecurities were gone. Karni and his cousin vicky were very supportive. Definitely will go for it again.

Had a wonderful experience! Karbi was extremely welcoming, gracious and the service was great. We did Kayaking, Cliff Jumping and Zip Lining and he was more than helpful in each of these fun activities, even took some great pictures and videos. The campsite was also beautiful and food was excellent. Would definitely recommend this experience!

This riverside campsite is located in Shnongpdeng near Darrang village. In Shnongpdeng campsite, there are many tent stays available. Every owner owns some tents there with all setup and this one is one of it. After we call and confirmed our stay with this owner, a helper was aligned with us for all arrangements. He arranged everything we asked. For food, there are good restaurants and stores near parking. Even in campsite also, there are some stalls available. Common washrooms are available but not that much clean. For us, we enjoyed our stay very much here.

It was a wonderful experience. I was doing camping for the first time in life. The camps were already provides there on pay basis. Just near the Dawki river we were having wonderful enjoyment of camping. There were students, families, childrens and elders who were having fun of the camping. BornFires were fired by nearly every group and it was looking very beautiful even at the dark of night. I was seeing one of the most beautiful and relaxing moment of life. If possible I would go there again before leaving IIT Guwahati. This Shnongpdeng village is just 25KM away from main dawki river where we meet bangladesh border. This village is very peaceful and has very less population. Peoples are friendly and helpful. The road is quiet difficult to drive. The one who is very very good at driving should drive the vehicle. The roads are curvy and on one side there is valley so it could be risky for life. So be careful while driving. Once you reach Shnongpdeng, you will know that all the way you came was dully WORTHIT and even you were enjoying the roads as well. I hope you also will be having fun and quality time with your friends or family or whoever you are with.
