Excellent experience in all aspects. I wasn't expecting such a Excellent restaurant in a high tourist area. To star, the space is very well decorated with round tables, with a live kitchen and a very romantic aquarium. Then you have live music, not to loud but creates a very pleasent environment. The staff has excellent, didn't bother but at the same time were always present at a moment notice. Then follow the drinks, not overpriced and all excellent and tasty, with a mixture of different flavours. They have a nice wine list and regular cocktails with a fair price. Then the food, it has excellent, a mixture of flavours and diferent types of cousine. The deserts were also a experience, just amazing. Definitely a restaurant I will visit again a strongly recommend.

Wow. As a regular google reviewer I've been to hundreds of restaurants over the past few years. Always trying something different is something I enjoy and commenting upon. Salmora had good reviews so I gave it a try. The menu is based on tapas style sharing platters but on a bigger scale. The waiter gave a very clear explanation and helped us choose and not over order. He was knowledgeable about every dish and was attentive throughout. The dishes were full of flavour and well balanced. Unfortunately the vegetables side dish was a little under cooked for our liking. I could have asked for it be redone I'm sure , but was too stuffed to have ate it anyway. We look forward to returning soon.

A delight ✅ Nice atmosphere. We went for a selection of tapas, it went down a treat, the seabass taco was very fresh. The architecture holds a great intersection between modern and natural elements and it serves a great indoor environment for night time dining. Outside is a great option too if you get there somewhat early ( we sat outside in May ) You have to try their cocktails! Thanks 😁

Last night in Albufeira and thanks to Salmora it was one to remember! Food was faultless, gyozas, tuna and John dory nuggets were delicious. Cocktails were a hit too! Service was immaculate and super attentive. When in Valamoura make sure you stop by!

Amazing food, very well done. I highly recommend it. The tofu is outstanding and the tiramisu as well. The service is very friendly.

Outstanding service, fabulous food and cocktails in an amazing setting. We were so well looked after and as there were 10 of us tried most of the menu, all of which was superb. What made it so special were the team of hospitable staff that genuinely delivered outstanding service ♥️

The best food I've had for years, and only bettered by a meal that cost €200 per head. Only downside was it was very empty, even though we were there at 8pm on a Saturday. I was actually almost in tears of joy over almost everything, including the sensational cocktails. If you can afford it and aren't with basic-minded people who just want soup and a burger, this is the one!

Amazing food and service. Great selection of contemporary tapas. Very highly recommended. Also has a very polished interior design and really cool tropical fish tank to look at.

Came here for my 30th birthday, after looking at the reviews I thought what could go wrong. Service was friendly as the start but quickly turned after my group of 10 returned back to dishes after not liking them. He also brought the birthday cake out to the wrong person at the end. After receiving the bill, we queried why there was some dishes that we sent back that were still on the bill. To which the waiter replied “some of you friends ordered the same dish and liked it. So if you didn’t like the dish that’s your problem”. One top of the that tried to settle the remainder of the group bill of 5 euros by card. Charged me 50 euros instead, refused to refund me and said they couldn’t process refunds then proceeded me out walk me out of the restaurant. Disgusting behaviour and avoid this restaurant. Service is disgraceful.

Unfortunately it was an awful experience! Our evening was ruined because of the "dinner" we had here! The portions were very small and unwise balanced. Being advised by the waiter we "shared" some tiny portions: "carpaccio beef" is in fact five transparent slices of beef and a few leaves of rucola around with microscopic bits of truffles and blue cheese on top (more like a snack); also the "code fish..." was a kind of peasant like stew with an awful taste and smell! The wine was good but that's not the chef's worth... We left the place hungry and disappointed! And pennyless, of course ... I wouldn't recommend this place if somebody wants a nice evening and a proper meal! 👎👎👎

This place is great for couples and groups. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was lovely and attentive. Highly recommend the beef tacos and the teriyaki skewers! Nice vibe and decor. Cocktails are pretty good too!

We had the most unexpectedly delightful meal here. All of the food we tried was excellent, the creamy cod, risotto, and black pork were all standouts but everything was delicious. Our server gave great recommendations and took great care to help the person in our party who was lactose free. The cocktails were yummy too! Everyone was so friendly

Lovely ambiance, great service and nice food. Enjoyed the entrecote and mushroom risotto. Place like this deserves a better wine list with more choices by the glass.

The staff was very attentive and we loved the sea bass tacos and the apple pie. Nice place, we'd like to repeat for sure!

Worst Table service, didn’t know what a clear table was, ended up having half the order missing and the main meals coming out with the starters, then ended up spilling oil over one of the people we went with and didn’t apologise and then called the police because they thought we wasn’t going to pay the bill for the reason before. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone and the manager couldn’t run a bath never mind a restaurant with how he handled the situation.

Can't give anything other than 5 star. 5 of us had dinner and tried most dishes, food is superb, service was superb. Lovely waiters. Great ambiance and decor. Favourite dishes included John Dory, the local wine, risotto, steak and mousse. Not often you receive service like this.

The food was excellent! Go for 4 small dishes for 2 people (5 if you don’t want dessert). The food was perfect! The Tuna steak/ tataki will be in my gastronomical dreams. It is a bit on the expensive side, but perfectly justified if you go for the quality and not for the quantity. Best meal I had in this vacation. Covid measures were good.

Love the tapas here! The salmon ceviche and the tuna tatakai reminds me of Poke I eat in Hawaii. The gyozas are the best dumplings I’ve ever had, and I ate that in Canada, and Asian and America. It’s crazy that I can get good dumplings in Portugal.

Our go to restaurant if we want excellent food, wine and service, and our visit on Sunday 14th May did not disappoint. We started our meal with Chicken and vegetable gyoza and Meat Croquette with dijon mustard emulsion - both delicious. For our main, we normally order the tuna bowel which is a firm family favourite, but we have eaten so much fish since we arrived in Portugal we thought we would opt for a steak for our main course. As the kitchen is open to view, when we arrived we saw a few of the Entrecôte steaks being cooked. We were advised the Entrecôte which would be a slightly fatty steak and when the fat was rendered down during cooking it would hold all its flavour. The Entrecôte was amazing, full of flavour and it melted in the mouth. We had french fries and the mushroom risotto as a side with a glass of red wine. I would say Salmora is famous for its Apple Tart, served with a yogurt ice cream. A perfect way to finish our meal. Service as always was A1. The red wine came recommend and although i only ordered a glass, the bottle was left table side and was advised to help myself if i wanted more and i would only be charged for what i drank. A great touch. Cant wait to revisit - We highly recommend this restaurant.

Hands down the best restaurant in Vilamoura. Really nice restaurant with a good ambience. Food is amazing, love the open kitchen! Recommend the beef tacos and the John dory nuggets, tuna burger & beef burger. But everything we had was so good.

This is a truly wonderful experience! The cocktails are exquisitely excellent. I'd want to return even just for those! And the food, the food is not any lesser, tasteful both in flavour and presentation, with an enticing concept and amazing execution!
