I tried surfing for the first time but with thr help of Diogo you'll learn really fast! He took his time to really show me how to stand up, stay on the board and how to catch a wave. He also always gave advice after every attempt what I can do better. I can highly recommend Diogo. His last name means "Bean" in Portuguese. Just go ahead and call him Mr. Bean 😅. Attached is a photo of Falésia Beach. That's the spot where they practice.

Had a great experience with both private and group surfing sessions at the school. Baby waves at Vilamoura in the summer when we went, nice and friendly for beginners. All instructors were very helpful, and made sure that we had fun. They also use proceeds of the surf school for social projects which are great causes. I would definitely return, and hope everyone would give them a try if you are in the area!

Called during the week to arrange board and suit hire - these guys were great! Super friendly and helpful, and the boards and suits in perfect conditions! Looking forward to seeing them again!

We just rented two boards. Staff was super friendly and nice, board es well. Maybe a low season price would be nice, since there are cheaper options

Did a group lesson for two mornings it was amazing, Bruno was a great teacher and the rest of the team were so friendly. Only a short walk to the beach from the surf school and easy to find. Everyone so friendly. Highly recommend this activity when in Vilamoura.

I contacted surf school via website message. Caterina messaged me right back. Arranged hire of 2 beginners boards for next morning. We arrived a little early & they were hosting a big adaptive surf event but we were still met with a smile. All the staff we came across were very friendly & helpful. They let us leave our rucksack & car key on the beach with their tents, which was fantastic. We managed to get a parking space at the club, but spaces are limited. You can park at the large pay car park and it woukd just be a 3 minute walk to surf school. Quality wetsuits & good beginners boards. They are cash only (no card machine). We had a great morning, felt welcomed. I would recommend vilamoura surf. Obrigada

My 10 y.o. son and me spent three awesome days with the guys from Vilamoura Surf School and it was 100% fun! The instructors are taking best care of surfers of any level.

We had two private two-hour classes and really enjoyed our first ever surfing experience thanks to our wonderful coach! Perfect place for beginners (and of course for experienced ones). Highly recommend!

Such a nice experience, we were 3 rookies and had a really a fun time with our coach. Also booking is really uncomplicated - if you have questions you can reach them easily via WhatsApp and they answer quickly. Highly recommend!

The staff at vilamoura Surf project were just lovely. I came with my 16year old niece and 8 year old daughter for a group lesson. I ended up joining in too which was good to have extra hands in the sea although I don't think they needed it, they were all very efficient and great at helping everyone and making it a fun experience. We were absolute beginners and although the adults found it harder and could barley stand up, still had loads of fun!

It was a great experience and fun! I would recommend it, everybody is very nice there!

Best surf school in Vilamoura. The wetsuits were new and warm, good surfboards and the teachers were really good. Definitely recommend this school and experience to everyone visiting Vilamoura

Not only the person I was in contact with was rude, but also they said they have professional gears for bodyboarding despite having nothing. We wasted a day because of that, when we could have just bought the gears from Decathlon.

Fantastic group class. My daughter who is 10 years old enjoyed so much! Professional experienced coaches with great gears. Great location too. Will come back every weekend for class.
