Visited this information centre to find out where we could purchase some detergent so we could use the laundry machine opposite the centre. A very helpful lady said to go downtown the general store. It seems strange that there's no way to purchase this detergent other than the store, not even a dispenser is available in the laundry, also I think this would be an opportunity for the information centre to perhaps also have these available at a small charge.

The people here were very friendly, especially Arline, who ordered our boat tickets for us in French to make it faster. They allowed us to use their phone, and spent time explaining to us about the city like they really cared. Only comment is that one of the girls had no idea what Tim Hortons was....

Tadoussac & the Saguenay have so much to see and do, it's only fitting that they should have such a helpful tourism center as this. So many helpful tips and a font of information! Many thanks for helping us get the most of our time here...

We popped in here a couple of times with a variety of queries and requests and the staff always gave us the time and information we needed, even when it related to another province where we were headed next. Great knowledge and service. Unusually for the Quebec province, we were both assisted in English and given written information in English, a real bonus.

Had a meal at a local restaurant. I can recall the name, but the food was excellent. My wife & I each had a pizza, but it was a thin crust with awesome topping. Koodo's to the cook.

Staff are well informed and helpful. The place has some interesting exhibits. Even if you don't need info from them it is worth a visit.

Had a nice time. If you are just staying overnight to see the whales, try to get a hotel in Baie-Sainte-Catherine and avoid the ferry trip to Tadoussac. Whale watching companies also leave from Baie-Sainte-Catherine. We had to wait an hour to get on the short ferry ride due to fog. There is a very nice coffee and sandwich place in the little plaza on the street just before the ferry.
