Edit - More trails are now open for families and new riders. It is nice seeing moms, dads and loads of kids. --- There's a new lodge. There is a new trail trails, plural trails. And there is new enthusiasm for mountain biking and outdoor activities as if that was ever needed. I have a super high recommendation for this place. If you are into biking. If you are into having a good time outside, this is the place to be. Even if you have to drive a really really long distance, it is the place to be. Cannot say enough. Good things. Winter is awesome at Sentier du Moulin. The pandemic seems to abate and the atmosphere in the lodge is great. I've waited a while before posting this review. I visited these trails five times in the past two weeks. It is fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. There is a pro shop that is able to get your bike up and running with a small repair almost immediately. The logical comparison is to contrast riding at this location with riding on the west coast of Canada. The Sentiers Du Moulin trails are comparable to those found in the Alice Lake area of Squamish British Columbia. The trails are very well maintained. The trails are smooth when they're supposed to be smooth and gnarly when they're supposed to be gnarly. There is a gathering point at the top which is a large patio deck and after the climb up most riders will stop and have some chit chat at this point. There is enough variety to keep a person interested for months on end. I plan on returning many times over. It is a true "destination" for mountain biking. The jewel at the top is the tremendous Stoke offered via the Quebec culture for inclusiveness and esprit de corps. Very highly recommended.

I come here every summer from Alberta, and it never disappoints. Beautifully designed bike park with an amazing variety of trails (XC, Enduro, jump lines, flowy trails, techy, etc.). This year I explored the SDM sector. The climbing trails are well built. I strongly recommend Super G and Basse Super G. I easily secured a rental and a day pass online. The rental staff were friendly and helpful. Last year I rode the Maelstrom sector. Slab City is a definite must and Klondike was a great climbing trail. Lots of parking available and the attached restaurant is lovely!

I have ridden my bike at many places around North America and would put SDM up there with any of them. The trail network is fantastic, the staff were great, food was delicious, and after ride beer on the patio was perfect.

This spot is a must for mountain biking in the area. I wish I had more legs so I could do more laps! Trails were great even the day after a lot of rain. Good drainage. Rocks are much more grippy than they appear. Don’t forget to go across the street to the other side! Totally worth it!

Amazing place to go mountain biking, they now have trails for everyone to try depending on your skill level. A must try is the « Ralph ». It’s an easy trail but once your done the easy climb it’s fast and flowy rolling down with lots of burns. Super fun! The « Maelstrom » is another fun fast descending trail but more for intermediate skilled riders but also super fun! The brand new cabin now hosts a restaurant & outdoor patio for food and beers. There’s also a souvenir shop and a pro-shop to have your bike fixed up and buy gear. Amazing 🤩

Trails are amazing but that was expected as we have been before. Since our last visit, 4 years ago, the place has gotten even better. They have a new chalet with CLEAN washrooms and showers, a restaurant, bar, and shop. Reserve your spot in advance, especially on weekends, as it gets VERY busy and might sell out.

What a beautiful place and after several days of rain the trails were I. Great shape. Hint … bring your climbing legs 😰 or rent an e bike. I just rode the Maelstrom section. Took the main climbing trail to Slab City then climbed Kondike to Haute Maelstrom to Maelstrom and back to the chalet for an awesome burger!!

This place is for real. The bike trails are well built and next level. If the trails is marked black, they mean it! I ride all over VT and these trails are a step up which is saying something! When you are done riding the bar is a great place to unwind with a beer and some poutine.

Fantastic mountain biking trails! The rental bikes are better quality than anything I've ever owned. Very good variety of trails ranging from easy to very hard (double black diamond) Excellent facilities - tire pumps, on site mechanics, racks and hoses to rinse off muddy bikes, showers to rinse off muddy people. No food served here, but a nice indoor and outdoor space for eating your own packed lunch

One of the best days on the bike I've ever had. Rode up to slab city in the malestorm side. Great fun trials great views. Well signed. The new chalet at the bottom is fabulous. Great to have washrooms, water, food and beer. Love it. Great place to ride and good value. Can't wait to go back.

What a beautiful experience. I got a gift 🎁 certificate from my daughter for Christmas and together with my little granddaughter and my daughter we went snowshoeing. It was one amazingly wintery day. Weather was perfect and even the trails were so pretty. Totally recommend for the whole family if you enjoy outdoors.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Found it on trail forks this morning, went, got a ticket, and does it ever have some amazing trails. Climb up is worth it every time.

The trails are superb. The Maelstrom trails were especially great! Loved QMG as well. Big thumbs up to the trail builders. Hard to choose between SDM and VBN when I go to Quebec

A must do for any serious mountain bike enthusiasts. I only give it 4 stars due to how poor their ticketing system is. Staff won't sell you tickets anymore and force you to use a really bad website that worked for only 50% of our group. Very frustrating. But once tickets were had... west coast riding in the east, hard to beat.

😐 Service was friendly and helpful. Bread was excellent. However the pastry I tried (galette quebecoise) was flavorless and dry, and they had loud music playing unsuitable for cafe breakfast. Food served on paper plates.
