Amazing view of the lake here with multiple hiking options. You can either take the more intense path, going up to 946m (according to our GPS), walking through rocks and roots for hours and get your heart pumping for a few hours or take a more tame version with wooden stairs to the top. Both give you access to a wonderful view. Make sure you have layers to accommodate for warmer and colder temperatures throughout your hike!

Beautiful park. We went camping and the camp site was clean and peaceful and only a small walk from the parking. There are a lot of hikes to chose from and they were not too crowded for a nice Saturday morning in July which is a big plus. Dogs are allowed on some trails. The staff were very nice and helped us a lot with recommendations for hikes and swimming. Would definitely come back again!

Very nice Park. To understand the name of the Park…you must take the Taïga guided tour!!👍💫 The camping area Pieds-des-Monts is very nice and cozy! #enjoy #greatoutdoors #mothernature

We did the via ferrata for the first time and absolutely loved it! We did the 5 hour one (La Montee). Although it states it's at the intermediate level, we as beginners can still do it. It was rainy that day, and the slippery rocks which makes the climbing and landing more challenging. But fortunately we had the best tour guide Corrine who followed our pace and be patient with us :) we will definitely come back next time when it's sunny!

Really beautiful! Really nice place for more advanced cross country skiers. There are trails but they are not groomed often and there's a lot of snow and wind so they get partially covered.

This grading is not a reflection of the park itself but the way we were treated. We drove over 1200 miles to see the park after years of planning. Our first stop was at the Mont-du-lac-des-Cygnes visitor center. They told us that the shortest hike will take about three hours and the altitude along the trail changes by about 250m. We realized that this is not for us because of health reasons. They however mentioned that there is a trail in the Le Boreal area that is a short 1.4km hike on a relatively flat ground. As we were planning to leave, they asked for park access fees even though we didn't go to the hiking trail. In any case, they said we can pay at the Le Boreal visitor center. We drove to Le Boreal visitor center which is about 20km away and asked about the trail at the visitor center. They showed it on the map and also said that there are no trees along the trail to provide any shade. The weather was not cooperating; it was about 90F with bright sun. We saw people at the parking lot putting on sun tan lotion as they were heading to the trail. We decided to abandon the idea to hiking. At that point, they said we must pay CA$9.55 plus tax per person anyway for park access fees which we paid and left the area. Overall, we had make two round trip "hikes" in the park from the parking lot to two visitor centers for a total of about 6 minutes! There is nothing at the visitor centers except for a small souvenir shop. We saw people hanging around at the souvenir shop and leaving; nobody asked them if they paid park access fees. We also saw people parking their cars in the parking lot and heading to the trailhead right away- there was nobody to check if they have paid park access fees. Overall, our whole experience was nothing short of an harassment rather than enjoying the park. In any case, if you are not a hiker, just drive along the highway QC-381 from Baie Saint Paul to La Baie, which runs through the park. This will be your best option to enjoy the park which I would grade as 5 stars on a scale of 5. A quick note- if you plan to drive in the Charlevoix region, make sure that you get a good car. The roadway is hilly with steep uphill-downhill segments, and there are many areas where roadway grade changes by as much as 15%.

Probably the prettiest park that I’ve visited on my road trip to gaspé. It was cloudy and felt like that you are walking in the clouds

Beautiful, wild park, not far away from the Saguenay Fjord, and not crowded unlike the other parks.

One of the best views in Quebec. The climb was not hard either. And the small cabin by the lake half way up is a great spot for one to catch one's breath.

Just incredible. Such dramatic scenery for a park out east! The trails are well maintained also.

We had a lovely rainy day hike of Le Pinède trail. However, would caution going on this trail in late June as the Grouse are in nesting season and are understandably territorial.

Beautiful even on a cloudy day. The hike up was pretty easy and the view was spectacular.

Amazing Parc, We spend 2 nights in the camp Etang Malbaie that was wonderful, wild, private and quiet, only 5 spots, 2 minutes walking from the parking area. We did an amazing trail of 11km, wild and full of mushrooms. Amazing landscapes and environment. Up in the mountain is cold and windy, bring some jacket! You could also swim in one of the lakes. Highly recommendly! All the staff were extremely welcome and kind

We did the trail named "La chouenne". It was a beautiful trail, easier than "Mont du Lac des Cygnes", so it can be a nice alternative with the kid or if you only have 1-2 hours to spend in the park. We also did the trail named "Le gros Pin" to complete our day, which is also kid-friendly. It is to be noted that "La chouenne" is dog friendly, but not the entire park.

This national park is very impressive. The Mont du Lac des Cygnes was well maintained and a real treat. Definitely a moderate hike, but the views from the top are spectacular. It was extremely windy, so ensure that you pack a windbreaker and warm clothes. Overall great experience - so much beauty to admire all around.

Fine, safe, supervised via ferrata with well-qualified guide Pierre-Alexandre. He was patient with my stiff knee. Great camping and kayaking at Arthabaska. We’ll be back.

Much less crowded than Acropolte des Draveurs and closer to BSP. Still a very challenging hike and the 12 km loop takes you along a breathtaking ridge hike.

Beautiful mountains! The sentier Lac des Cygnes is a must do! The view on top is rewarding and breathtaking! A long strenuous uphill hike, with a little mix of muddy/rocky paths and board walk in the forest, very well maintained paths! SEPAQ says that it might take around 4 hours back and forth, but if you go at a steady pace, you could make it in 3 hours. If you are in the region, definitely check this park out!

We did the La Chouenne trail, absolutely worth it. For a short trail not too difficult, this one gives an amazing view at the top. The trail is hard gravel surface and well maintained.
