If
you
want
somewhere
just
a
little
off
the
beaten
track,
this
may
be
for
you.
Yes,
the
carpark
is
800
meters
from
the
guest
house,
but
it
is
well
worth
the
walk
alongside
the
river
to
stay
there.
The
accommodation
is
in
keeping
with
the
style
of
the
building,
we
were
fortunate
enough
to
have
the
whole
top
floor
which
would
cater
for
a
typical
family,
and
has
a
kitchen
with
separate
living
and
dining
spaces,
though
you
would
most
likely
end
up
eating
the
authentic
offerings
that
can
be
had
in
the
downstairs
restaurant.
We
used
it
as
base
of
operations
for
our
explorations
of
the
Harz
region,
and
is
was
great
to
return
home,
eat
well
and
be
lulled
off
to
sleep
by
the
sounds
of
the
river
just
outside
the
window.
The
only
thing
I
would
change
would
be
to
make
the
next
visit
longer....
and
I
will.
