This was the worst experience we have ever had at a pediatric office from start to finish. Unprofessionaldoes not even scratch the surface. Despite numerous corrections our child's name is still incorrect on all documentation from the office. The NP did not practice shared decision making in the least. Furthermore, we were threatened about vaccines and having the ability to continue care for our child. On top of it all we were not given any record or information for the treatment we did partake in. We would not recommend this facility to anyone and will not be back.

If you question what goes into your children’s body in the name of health don’t go here. They don’t respect people’s beliefs and need to hire doctors who will follow their oath to help and treat individuals and not doctors who are looking to make a profit by forcing vaccines and saying that we don’t care about our children because we have made an informed decision on their health and are exercising our rights as parents. As soon as we informed the doctor that we were not doing vaccines his whole demeanor changed and he said that we needed to find another practice so they could make room for others who care about their children. Definitely would not reccomend.

I’d give zero stars if I could. They will not let you schedule sick visits unless it’s the same day but they never have same day appointments available. I’ve ever tried calling as soon as they open and get the same response. Will be finding a new pediatrician.

So I started coming here 16 months ago. I attempted to make appointments at the Queen Creek Location and ended up having to drive to their other office. I was impressed with the pediatrician (hence 2 stars or I'd give 1). Their call center/ prompts are cumbersome and take forever to navigate through (especially if you have a screaming child). Advice on that, you need to shorten it up because I stopped listening after 2 minutes of the covid blabbing it's redundant. Then I had to listen to it again because I pressed the wrong number 😡 So fast forward my kiddo has been sick the last few days (think it's turned into ear infection). I attempted to schedule an appointment, none available today, and they only schedule sick appointments for same day. It shouldn't be that hard to schedule an appointment to get in to see your pediatrician!!!! No wonder our emergency departments are overflowing with complaints that should be seen in office. I am a nurse and I can tell you this is bad business. 👎

Showed up 5-10 minutes early for a 2pm appointment that we had scheduled for our 1 year old a month in advance. The doors were locked and no one was inside to answer the phones. Maybe on a lunch break? 115° outside so we opted to wait in the car. 15 minutes after 2pm still no one had showed up. Either it was a long lunch break for the whole staff that went long and conflicted with our scheduled appointment time, along with another set of parents that we saw walk up that we talked to. Or they closed for the day and didn't give any heads up whatsoever via text or a call or email. Fortunately we both had the day off and didn't have to take time off from work to be there unlike the other set of parents, but still, pretty unprofessional and doesn't instill much faith from us in Healing Hearts for future appointments.

One of the worst pediatric clinics we’ve ever used. Multiple appointment fees were never billed to our insurer; instead the clinic advised that someone made an error which led to my wife and I receiving letters that our covered appointment fees were going to be sent to collections. So glad we found a good doc in Gilbert for our little man. Stay away!!!!

Been going here for about 3 months and the front office staff is nice. However, my concern is the care that my kids are getting. Everytime I have went I feel like my appointments are very rushed. Dr. Hauben speaks so fast that me nor my children understand what they are saying. We wanted to leave after the first couple instances but stayed because we were new to the state and they were close to our house. He is honestly horrible. I am sorry but it's TRUE. The last straw was this week. I have a sick infant and I called to talk to the nurse and she was on vacation. Completely understandable. However, care doesn't stop because of that. I reached out to the front office staff Rosario and she said they were going to page the interim nurse. This was a 10 am by the way. I wait and wait and nobody calls. I reach back out around after 1:30pm. There was no answer. I left a message and still no response. I have a small baby and I am very disappointed that the don't take the care of him serious. I cant describe how hurt I am. I will not be returning there. Any recommendations anyone?

I had the best experience with Meagan PA. She was detailed with her assessment, knowledgeable and her examination skills with my son was exceptional considering that my son is reserved around new people. During the visit Meagan provided me with best practices recommendations as to avoid unnecessary invasive procedures. I appreciate her time, she was not rushed. In fact she spent 30 minutes discussing my concerns during my son's well visit. I later called the office to ask her a question, she personally returned my call. First class care and customer service!! Honestly, the whole group is fantastic. I've seen each provider at least once at the Gilbert and Queens Creek location. I highly recommend this clinic/group of providers.

We’ve been taking my son to this practice for just over a year now and at first it was great, having three locations and multiple providers allowed for us to get into sick visits whenever needed and liked all the providers. For the last couple of months the service has been terrible in trying to get an appt ointment. I had a newborn and I had to escalate to the office manager to even get a newborn appointment and was told by the first girl that I’d have to go to a different practice because they didn’t have appointments - luckily she was seen. Since then any appointment we have gone too or any sick visit I’ve tried to schedule and an allergy test I’m being told appointments are two weeks out and that they are so short staffed they can’t get my kids in and if it’s for a sick visit to take them to the ER or urgent care. They said too many providers are in vacation this week - that is an unacceptable answer. Unfortunately now I’m forced to find another provider for my children, one that is reliable and can actually see my children. Additionally, they removed their online billing which makes it impossible to make payments unless you call in which you’re always put on hold and payment is never asked for at visits.

My kids have been patients here since 2016. We moved to QC in 2018 and started visiting the QC location. One of my biggest complaints is the lack of availability for sick visits at this location. EVERYTIME one of my kids needs a sick visit, they only have options for another office (either Chandler or Gilbert). That’s even if I’m calling right at 8am or showing up at the office to schedule (their long phone menu is a bit ridiculous especially when I’m left receiving a busy tone). What’s the point of having them as a local provider when they’re unable to help when my children need it most? They have decent staff and providers, just reallllllly hate that as a QC resident, they fail to have QC availability for sick visits. It’s not sustainable.

We’ve been going here since daughter was born 4 months ago. It was never exceptional, but it was never horrible. Mediocre at best, at least until today’s 4 month well check. Today we saw PA Rozzy Guz, first time seeing her. During the exam our baby started fussing. The doc kept going checking ears, heart beat etc. all while quickly rattling off questions about what she eats, where she sleeps, how often she wakes up at night, etc. The baby kept getting more upset. My husband asked to take a break to sooth her two times, the PA ignored him and proceeded to flip the baby on her stomach. Then she started screaming, full meltdown. At that point my husband reached in and grabbed the baby and picked her up, telling the PA that we’re done here. The PA said, she’s sorry babies don’t like it here, but it has to be done. At least she apologized, but the fact exam could have been done gently and she didn’t have to traumatize her before she even gets to the part that’s going to hurt (the vaccines). In fact, we soothed her while waiting for the MA to come with the vaccines. The MA was gentle with the baby, talked sweet to her got her to smile and the vaccine part was over quick and less traumatic than the exam. 5 stars to that MA! All the PA had to do was let us hold her during the exam and she could have looked in her ears, then ask us to have her roll over and we would have done it with a toy. At the very least when asked to stop 2 times, just stop and take a break. Let the baby calm down and then proceed. There did not need to be tears at that part of the appt. She seemed to be in a hurry probably because they are short staffed, so it felt like she was just rushing through everything with no consideration or patience for a 4 month old. Needless to say, now I have the fun of finding a new pediatrician before she’s due for her 6 month visit.

We’ve always had a great experience at this location. Dr. Heck is the best!

Dr. Romero is a wonderful doctor. She is so helpful with every question or concern I have regarding my child. She goes the extra step to make sure my kiddo is comfortable in her appointments by making sure her hands are warm, putting a shirt over my daughter if she’s cold during her check ups (2 month old baby), and helping me when the pacifier fell on the ground, she washed it. Dr. Romero is sweet and attentive. We haven’t seen any of the other doctors so I can’t vouch for them. The office staff are friendly and seem organized.

My children love Dr McKenna and Dr Heck. They were thorough and took their time when examining them. I would give them 5 stars. However, last Friday late afternoon I had to bring my youngest daughter in for diarrhoea and was seen by Dr Roller. He was ok but not thorough enough. He gave us expired samples of probiotics which I only noticed when we arrived home in the evening. It was too late for me to call or turn back. Thus, my 3 star rating.

Don’t go here. They won’t take you in unless your kid has EVERY SINGLE VACCINATION. Not the ones you WANT for your CHILD, but ALL the ones they want to inject. The staffs were really rude on top of that. Not recommending this place to anybody ever.

Just took both my boys (ages 4 & 1) to get their well care checks this week. I was very nervous about taking them both because they can get pretty wild together, but it ended up being a very good experience. I didn't have to wait at all, and the nurse was so sweet to my boys. The doctor was friendly and answered any questions I had, I was in and out in 45 min. I would definitely recommend them.

We love Dr.Heck! We followed him from our previous pediatricians office. The drive is worth it. I don’t see myself putting my son in anyone else’s hands.

Both of my children were patients here. I called for a sick visit as we suspected my daughter had an ear infection and were told they could see her in about 2 weeks! I then had to rescedule my son's well visit (after they had made me reschedule) and was told the next opening was 6 weeks out. My daughter also had an x-ray almost a week ago and still have not been contacted with the results. I highly recommend against using this practice.

I have gone to Healing Hearts since my first child was born in 2018. My second child also attends. While I have seen a few of the doctors in the group, I always make sure the children's appointments are set with Dr. Romero. She takes her time with the appointments to address any concerns and interacts so great with the kids. You can tell she really does care about her patients and takes pride in her job. While doctors appointments with young children can be stressful, Dr. Romero has always made them great visits and my children love going to the doctor which I know is because of her.

We showed up to establish care and do a well visit at the same appointment, all on a day that they switched to a new all digital system which had its hiccups for me. I ended up having two additional very distracting kids in tow. Each staff member worked with us with respect and none of them seemed ruffled by the spectacle we were being. The Dr was so attentive to my every concern, and did so over the sounds of loud shrieking from my toddler without missing a beat. This is the type of pediatric care team that I feel confident in bringing my children to. In future I would arrange childcare better, I was just as surprised as I’m sure they were that my extra kids would be so incapable of handling an office visit. But they really did make it as easy as possible for us to feel like my children's healthcare needs are attainable and important to them.

We have had an amazing experience with Andrea Morris! I love working with her. She is very knowledgeable, down to earth and straight to the point. Being a first time mom I have tons of questions and she's always happy to answer them. Cynthia has been great as well! Thank you Healing Hearts!

I don't always take the time to review, but if you have a child with significant disabilities, DO NOT consider this provider's office. A doctor is only as good as their front office and their front office staff is moody and unbelievably rude. Every time I call I have to wait 20 minutes for someone to pickup the phone. The front desk is ripe with rudeness and a complete lack of compassion. When checking out after my son's first visit, the gals behind the desk ignored us and talked about their boyfriends and used profanity. There is no organization in their office and you can expect to sit in a tiny, freezing room with your child for up to two hours if you are trying to obtain an autism evaluation. This is only one of three visits you will need to do. I just cancelled the second after the evaluation professional sent me a text on the day of my son's evaluation and told me she "had a head cold" and would reschedule later. We have literally waited over a year to get the evals in order and I feel stupid we stuck with them. The doctor was trying to encourage me to use them as my son's PCP. I declined after seeing how they operate. I don't believe they would have the timely follow through to make sure he received proper specialist referrals an attend to his many medical needs. As a special need's parent, I was scared of them. Their office manager was kind, but questioned whether I had really called and left messages three times, as I had explained my frustration to her about trying to obtain an appointment. She said she can "look up all phone calls made to their offices." I assured her I was not lying and had really called them three times. It was a little odd that she was trying to accuse me of not calling. I've never had this type of interaction with a pediatrician's office and my son has around 15 doctors. I really hope they can raise their level of professionalism, but we won't stick around to see. Just a warning to parents like me -We have enough hoops to jump through, I'd leave this hoop to the side.

The nurse and doctor were amazing, we saw Andrea. We’ve been to JJ pediatrics along with Pediatrics of Queen Creek and unfortunately we had negative experiences with both. We decided to try Healing Hearts and our first experience has been amazing! Thanks for being so sweet guys!

Love this place! My kids have been coming here for about 18 years. The doctors and NP’s here really take the time to listen and help your children. They do get busy and sometimes it is difficult to schedule same day appointments but their doctors are amazing and it is worth it.

  • 1/5 Ash C. 7 months ago on Google
not very clean… also not very bright. You can never get in touch with the office for billing, or to even schedule an appointment. The are paperless so you have to go online and answer 100 questions every time, and then when you go in they obviously havnt read anything you wrote bc they don’t even know what you are there. They also time your visit and that’s what your bill is based on. I’m done with this office.

Rozzy at Healing Hearts has been such a blessing to our family. She has gone above and beyond to help our daughter who has had frequent illnesses and ear infections the past year. She worked with us to try different approaches to treat our daughter . She even took the extra time to call ENT doctors to help get us seen sooner. Rozzy would call us to just check in on how our daughter was doing and always answered any and all questions we had. When in Rozzy’s office, she takes the time to listen to your concerns and get to know your child. She makes going to the doctor with an infant a little less painful which we are thankful for . We have also been seen by Andrea who works at the same Queen Creek location. She is fantastic and someone I trust treating my daughter . Both ladies I higley recommend !

Dr. Cassandra is wonderful. We saw her at both the Chandler and Queens Creek office. My daughter, Royalitea, adores her. She did such a throurgh check up on her and put my worry at ease. Being new to Arizona and find a new pediatrician for our daughter was made easy by Healing Hearts.

Took my 2 year old to the Queen Creek location yesterday for this awful cough and runny nose she has been having. Front desk ladies were very friendly, appointment was very speedy and Doctor Steven Hauben was also really nice! Checked in and out within 15 minutes. I was very pleased with the speediness of their office. Bringing my 5yr old to their Gilbert location today, hopefully the experience will be just as great!

We've mostly had great care at this location! However even if I'm the very first appointment after lunch, or the first or second appointment of the day, I always have to wait a while in both the waiting room and the exam room. Today I was there for a quick flu shot without even seeing a doctor, and I was at the office for over half an hour. I definitely like some doctors better than others, but for the most part they all seem really nice and answer any concerns I have.

  • 5/5 Jess C. 4 years ago on Google
Let's face it; finding a pediatrician sucks. But Healing Hearts in Queen Creek particularly is awesome. We have seen a majority of the doctors here, and we have loved them all. They all seem to really care and want to answer all of your questions and concerns, but Dr. Heck is our favorite. Sometimes, it takes a while for the doctor to come into the room, but that has been the case at every doctor's office I've ever been to. We did notice that the Gilbert office is not as friendly. The front desk people there are a lot less patient, but Queen Creek is great!

We usually go to the Gilbert office and see Dr. Sandra Romero- whom we love and adore!!! However, we had to been seen today last minute at the Queen Creek office by Dr. Hauben. He was very rushed and didn’t even take the time to listen. Sent us away and said he would have a prescription sent in for pink eye drops for our 3 month old. Appointment was at 3:50pm, here we are, 6:00pm STILL waiting on our drops. Prescription was never called in. Very disappointed in this office and its staff.

I have always had a really good experience with Healing Hearts. I’ve never waited long if at all in the waiting room. Everyone there is polite and so sweet to my kids. My kids love the colorful, cute rooms and I would recommend this practice! Love them!

I've been taking two Children to Healing Hearts for roughly three years now. I actually couldn't possibly say enough good things about them. Scheduling is easy. They are great at all the little annoying things and take a lot of the pain out of it. Our Doctor, Dr. Heck, is simply fantastic. He's very caring, concerned and knowledgeable. In particular our Daughter has Down Syndrome and he has specific experience and knowledge for her particular needs. He called us the day after our appointment, just to check up on us and to tell me that he wanted to run an additional test if that was ok. You won't get better care anywhere else.!

We've been going to Healing Hearts Pediatrics for over 11 years. Every provider we have seen we have had a great experience with. We’ve been going to Healing Hearts since my son was 2 (he’s five now). After a disastrous first pediatrician finding this place was wonderful. Dr. Heck is awesome and every time I leave there I know they listened to my concerns regarding my son and have his best interest in mind. I just had my daughter and took her there for a newborn check up and Dr. Heck is still the best ?? They have 3 offices too so if I have an emergency question or need to get in same day they always manage. I’ve seen a couple of the other doctors that way and they are all wonderful.

That was 7 years ago! Love, them! Love their front office staff. The MA's are amazing! Each doc I see if wonderful. I use to see Dr. Romero all the time, but honestly, all the docs are great. They explain everything break down every detail.

First visit first impressions: Filling out paperwork ahead via the app, saved a ton of time upon arrival. The front desk receptionist was friendly. The waiting room was clean & inviting for children. We waiting about 5 mins in the waiting room. We had about a 20 min wait in the exam room. Dr. McKenna was friendly and really took the time to have a conversation with our nervous 5 yr old. She addressed her by her name (which may not be noticed by some, but to me, it shows she acknowledges her as a person.) Our daughter had to get vaccinations, and was giving us quite a fight about it. The medical assistant Salena was amazing. She didn't act impatient or annoyed, even though it took quite awhile for us to be able immunize her. This wasn't the easiest time giving her the shots. However, she gave our daughter prizes afterward and took the time to wish our daughter well, while addressing her by name and with a smile. This is only our first visit, but so far so good!

Omg I had the best experience here today! I am a mom of a child with special needs, Down Syndrome to be exact. He has been through multiple surgeries which causes him to have anxiety to any kind of doctor. I walked in, got into our room and after talking with Dr. Heck for quite a while I realized he truly cared for my son's well-being. He listened to me and made modifications to how we spoke about things due to my son's anxiety as he knew certain words and would get worked up if he heard them. It was a well visit and so shots were in order. The word shot is one we couldn't say. The nurse was prepared to have backup as we weren't sure if my son would fight against us for the shots. But she knew how to get his mind distracted and used a blood pressure monitor to help. We were to count the numbers as they went up. We were doing that and she snuck in two shots in his upper arm. He felt the first one and said ow but was done in like two seconds. This is amazing as usually it takes people to help me hold him for things like this!! ? I didn't have to do anything but count numbers! I walked out super happy and he was happy, not mad or crying! This place is amazing!! ?

For the past four years I have been at the Gilbert location but now I live in Queen Creek. I was a little apprehensive but it went great. Dr. Heck was friendly and efficient. He answered all my questions and the other staff was friendly as well. The wait time was less than five minutes.

!!!!RED ALERT!!!!RED ALERT!!!!RED ALERT!!!!RED ALERT!!!! !!!!!PLEASE DON'T TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!!!! So here is my story with them. Honestly, I NEVER ever seen worse doctors in my life. For several reasons: 1. they can't even treat pink eyes. 2. their doctors are never available, they want you to see a Nurse Practitioner. 3. They don't care about their job nor their patients. Here is the detailed story: We moved from LA a few months ago and we need to find a new pediatrician for my 2 boys. My husband picked Dr. Rollers because of his academic background. The first visit was ok. It was a general check-up for my 2 boys. Dr. Rollers was very patient and tried to answer all my husband's questions( now I figure they use this to hook you up). So here comes the 2nd visit. My 2-year-old had pink eyes. I asked to make an appointment with Dr. Rollers and they told me he won't be available until next week so they scheduled a nurse practitioner for my son without even telling me!!!!! I am a healthcare recruiter, I recruit healthcare professionals for medical malpractice cases all the time. I read their CVs all day long. I know how much education & training MDs have vs. nurse practitioners. Especially they charge the same visiting fees. It is very UNFAIR to the patient. Before here, I never knew a NP can see patient b/c this just won't happen in LA. You either see a pediatric or not, no doctor office will schedule you to see a NP. Even worse, the NP didn't care about my son nor has any updated knowledge. A. she tried to check my son's throat, but my son refused to do so. After 3 attempts, she told me, his throat looked ok. (WTF? He didn't even open his mouth) She just didn't want to waste more time on him. B. She prescribed an antibiotic eye drop for my son. I asked if it is manufactured in another country and told her we only want medicine made in the U.S. She told me "No, all the medicines here are manufactured in the U.S.." EXCUSE ME? anybody who reads news knows it is not true. so I provided her some companies' names who manufacture medicine in China and India and I tried to confirm the one she prescribed was not one of them. She said: " I don't know. Only the manufacturers know where they are made." This is obviously not true, my son's last doctor knew it, whoever cares about their patients knows. Also, she rushed in and rushed out of the office, left us no time for discussion. C. Of course, my son's pink eye didn't go away after 2 weeks using the medicine, so we scheduled another appointment. I addressed to the scheduler over and over and over again I wanted to see Dr. Rollers and I was assured. So I drove all the way to Chandler's office from Queen Creek, surprisingly, they gave us another NP. I was shocked about their unprofessionalism and asked the assistant why an NP not an MD. Her response was even funny to me, she told me "don't worry, this NP is good, she is really good." Lady, I'm not in a grocery store and choosing one cucumber from another. I don't need you to tell me "She is good". I simply made an appointment with an MD and I want to stick with my choice. So, anyway, the NP confirmed my son's pick eye never went away and suggested to keep using the same medicine left from last time. Excuse me? Shouldn't we change to another one if this one didn't work? D. They are very DISORGANIZED. I scheduled a vaccination appointment for my older one. I prepared everything just so we can be there at 1:30 pm on Tuesday. I took sick leave from my work and I asked the school to release my son earlier today. However, at 9:28 am, I got a phone call that they have to reschedule the appointment b/c the doctor won't be available. not only they have the late cancellation nor provided us with other options. No other doctors can take over this matter. also, 2 different people called my husband twice regarding to the same issue. and the second not knowing that he was already called. I already decided to pull my kids our from them. To me, they are not Healing Hearts, they are more like Evil/Devil/Monster heats.

I love the atmosphere and the MA and Drs are always friendly. I particularly don't care for the iPad check in. It would be ideal if their questions weren't as if you were filling out new patient paperwork. It's kinda meh, that would be the only thing I would say I don't like. Wait times are never long and they have a few locations to work with you on any kind of appointment you need. Great place! Highly recommend!

We visited one time with two of my children, immediately cancelled the next appointment booked for another child the following week and will never be back. I couldn’t even tell you the name of the doctor we saw, because he never introduced himself. Although we spent about an hour and a half at the office as new patients, the actually doctor was only with us for less than 5 minutes. For two children. Both new patients. That is unacceptable. On top of all of that he said to my four year old “you’re short, what happened to you?” and admitted that he never look to see if our records had been transferred over!?! I would highly discourage any parent from bringing their children to this practice.
