👍👍 You would be amazed with the coffee and ever expanding menu is amazing! If you want to eat with a fine dinning that within a budget of 400-600 php per person. I had the shrimp roll and salmon! My gosh it's shockingly good! The taste of the seafood but with a hit of Japanese infused menu is my guilt... People often mention perfect, good, floor, menu, shrimp, restaurant, delicious, Balete,

My gosh it's shockingly good! The taste of the seafood but with a hit of Japanese infused menu is my guilty pleasure. Please be advised that it's not just japanese cuisine tha have here but a special mix in a melting pot that melts in the mouth! They also have digital payments so you're all good gcash, bpi, bdo, i gotcha!

The restaurant is surrounded by a large tree from the first floor to the second floor. Of course, you can see the tree from the table on the second floor, which is nice. The one−plate menu that comes in a bowl is kind of fun. It looks like it would be nice to sit at the counter on the first floor and enjoy a drink. Afternoon in Quezon City. . . Looking out at the greenery, I was once again healed by the wonderful atmosphere.

Food - this salmon with japanese rice under is around 500~600 pesos. For its price, it's just so-so. Though I super loved their C3 drink. Parking - there is a paid parking but can be validated by their restaurant if you will only stay for less than 3 hours. Ambiance - just okay, hope they made it bigger

A greta find in West Avenue, Quezon City. Here are some reviews on food and beverages. Appetizers: Kimchi Veggies and Nori: This dish is a great way to start your meal, with its light and refreshing flavors. The kimchi is not too spicy, and the nori adds a nice umami flavor. Truffle Fries: These fries are perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The truffle oil adds a luxurious flavor that will make you want to order more. Buffalo Wings: These wings are crispy and flavorful, with just the right amount of heat. The blue cheese dip is the perfect accompaniment. Main Courses: Shrimp and Scallop Mac and Cheese: This dish is a decadent and delicious take on a classic comfort food. The shrimp and scallops are cooked perfectly, and the mac and cheese is creamy and cheesy. Nito Creamy Seafood Pasta: This pasta dish is full of flavor, with shrimp, mussels, and calamari in a creamy white sauce. The pasta is cooked al dente, and the sauce is perfectly seasoned. US Angus Beef Steak: This steak is cooked to your liking and is juicy and flavorful. The mashed potatoes and vegetables are the perfect accompaniment. Desserts: Cinnamon Bread: This bread is warm and moist, and the cinnamon sugar topping is delicious. The vanilla ice cream is the perfect way to finish off your meal. Chocolate Cake: This cake is rich and decadent, and the chocolate sauce is to die for. The ice cream is the perfect way to cool it down. Sans Rival: This Filipino dessert is made with meringue, cashews, and buttercream. It is light and airy, and the sweetness is perfectly balanced. Drinks: Under the Balete Signature Cocktail: This cocktail is made with gin, pineapple juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. It is refreshing and tropical, and the perfect way to start your evening. Mojito: This classic mojito is made with rum, mint, lime juice, simple syrup, and soda water. It is refreshing and perfect for a hot day. Iced Tea: This iced tea is made with freshly brewed tea and is the perfect way to quench your thirst. Overall, Under the Balete is a great restaurant with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the ambiance is relaxing. I highly recommend checking it out if you are in the Quezon City area.

Great service, delicious food. Love the ambiance. Price for the food quality and service is just right 👍👍. Kudos to the chef. Owners and managers are very nice too Free parking for 2-3 hours if you dine w them, gated and guarded. 5thirsty, 2bottles and passing the traffic excuses works here hehehe. Music and ambiance , recommended. They also have a cooled Alfresco area.

Got invited as a guest in a surprise birthday party held at Under the Balete in West Ave. We were able to fully occupy the second floor (around 30-40 guests). The place is relatively new, but I'm loving the ambience and most especially the food. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food was superb: Grilled Caesar Salad, Beef Bourguignon, Salmon Rice, Tail Gate Ribs & Bread Pudding. We also had C3 (citrus cucumber cooler) which was refreshing and perfect for the hot weather. This restaurant has a very large parking space. The second floor has AC, but be careful as I found the steps to be a bit steep. Lower floor accomodations are set up outside, so there's no AC.

Place is quite spacious and has a nice ambiance. The seafood chowder was flavorful but a bit too viscous. The salmon rice was delicious and the mojito was good - taste minty fresh and sweet. As for the tacos, I hope they can improve the texture of the meat. But overall, this place is worth a try!

Food: Ribs, Mac & Cheese, Burger, Shrimp Roll, Salmon, Shrimp & Chips Drinks: Mango Shake & Caramel Shakerato Food was alright. Serving sizes are all solo plates so the price is quite expensive for what you get (both taste-wise and quantity). Also just a note that the Shrimp Roll which was served on a warm butter roll but the shrimp and kani were cold so it contradicted with the overall temperature of the dish. The Shrimp & Chips get you 5 pcs of shrimp and a bunch of chips/fries for around Php 365 so there might be better appetizers on the menu. The burger was average: patty was seasoned but not for our tastes. It might be worth a try for others, they might like it though! As for the drinks, both the shake and coffee were pretty good. We enjoyed both even if the mango in the shake was a little sour (which was informed to us beforehand as well), but it actually complemented with the sugar syrup so the shake wasn't overly sweet. Service was good too and the waiters were attentive + the place is pet-friendly so that's always a plus for us!

Gela and I decided to celebrate an early Valentine's Day at Under the Balete, a cozy spot we had been eyeing for months after spotting it on various social media sites. The restaurant, though small, exuded warmth and invited us in the moment we stepped through the door. We ordered the following: 1) Seafood "Chowda" (₱325) + I appreciated the unique approach to cutting the seafood and veggies into small, cube-like portions. This added a delightful texture to the warm and creamy chowder. - However, I thought the portion size could have been a bit more generous. 2) "SOP" Sausage-Onion Pizza (₱355) + Loaded to the brim with well-seasoned sausage, gooey cheese, and plenty of onions, this pizza was a treat. + The thick and crispy focaccia, with its burnt edges, brought a satisfying crunch to the overall flavor. 3) Spaghetti & Meatballs (₱570) + A visual delight, with juicy meatballs and fresh-tasting tomatoes. + The presentation, mimicking flying noodles, added a touch of aesthetic pleasure. 4) Tail Gate Ribs (₱525) + A highlight, with smoky, juicy goodness that left a mark. + The green apple slaw cut through the richness, and the sweet potato mash was a surprising favorite. 5) Beverage: Baletea (₱205) / This roughly gives about 4 - 5 glasses of iced tea. + Provided a refreshing break with its tea blend and a hint of lemon. 6) [FREE] Bread Pudding (₱185) / This was given to us for free as part of their 1 year anniversary. / Gela tried a bit of this but tasted cinnamon, to which she personally doesn't like. In contrast, I thoroughly enjoyed the dessert, as I am a fan of the delightful combination of flavors found in bread pudding. + The bread remained pleasantly unsoggy despite being drenched in sweet vanilla sauce. Note: Finding Under the Balete might be a bit tricky, even when relying on Google Maps or Waze. For those approaching from North Avenue, a helpful landmark to note is Kowloon, which is in close proximity to the restaurant. In summary, our experience at Under the Balete was thoroughly enjoyable. We look forward to returning to explore their signature cocktails. The attentive service from start to finish, along with clean restroom facilities equipped with a bidet, added to the positive experience. However, there's room for improvement in handling reservations. Verdict: Babalikan

If you want an intimate gathering or you're with a small group of friends upstairs is best recommended for you as it also offers airconditioned space. The outside space was good too! you can sit there doing your work or just catch up with a friend or even just spend your quiet/alone time there, have a cup of their best seller coffee and relax as it offers a more cozy outdoor vibes. The food was great! It all taste good but some food on the menu(base on my opinion) was over priced. We had raised our concern to the manager on duty and they are very understanding and very open to accepting customers feedback and suggestions. Over all experience was great! This place is highly recommended just read the menu and ask the staff before ordering 😉😊 PS I saw that there is a outlet outside, i'm not sure if your allowed to plug electronic device there but you can ask the staff they are very very accommodating 👍👍

The ambiance at under the balete is a delightful blend of chic sophistication and cozy comfort. The food is so delicious, loved their shrimp and scallop mac and cheese. I recommend their signature cocktails specifically the balete heat it’s a combination of chili infused vodka, lime and apple juice.

Foods were great and amazing. We ordered Spagetti and Meatball, Truffle Shuffle Pasta, Tail Gate Ribs, Trash Can for dessert, Kastila Blend and Affogato for drinks. We also meet the owner/chef who is very friendly and explains how he personally prepared the foods. Price range is a bit pricey but reasonable due to freshness of the of ingredients used. Very cozy place and friendly staffs and crews.
